I have a friend who did the horse volunteer thing and she said how she volunteered for 3 months before deciding not to go again. Apparently she only rode a horse twice the entire time and spend the whole time only cleaning the horses stable, feeding them, brushing them, etc.
I'm guessing Missy spent more time cleaning and didn't get to ride as much as she thought she would and just decided to stop going.

Isn't that the point though? To help do the work? I mean they need volunteers to work not play cowgirl for an hour. Sure you could ride sometimes, but the point is to help do things they are short handed for. Shows how much Missy really cares about horses.

I love cats and I'd volunteer to pick up cat shit and clean cages. Just because I'd be sure one less cat had a disgusting place to live.

I volunteered at an animal shelter one summer and that's what I did too, I basically cleaned up poop but I didn't care because I love animals.
I think Missy thought that once she "sponsored" a horse, that that meant that she could freely ride it whenever she wanted. Missy complains about washing cloth diapers and typical house chores (more like cleaning her room) no way was she going to last long cleaning after horses.

If I'm correct, when you sponsor a horse it's basically yours. Which means you do everything. YOU clean YOU feed. Sure you get to ride it whenever you want, but you also have to do all the work to. Most places are like that. She probably just wanted to show up whenever and just ride and maybe clean up poop every once and a while to make believe she was a horse girl. She's just lazy and didn't want to put in any effort. She wanted to make believe.

And she said she wanted to someday own a horse. Can you imagine?

Yeah, I'll believe the horse ranch donation thing when I see it. It's obvious that she just thought she would be able to go and ride when she wanted and bring them treats...the fact that it involves some actual work and commitment means that bitch isn't having any of it.

Can't wait to see their excuse about why Missy "accidentally" deleted the two latest vlogs with the most amount of dislikes vs. likes in a while...

Oh and thanks WEEONESMUM for screen shotting that stuff! Guess PinkPatty will be back in a few weeks with some other weird stuff... :S

Just read through everything, raising eyebrows.

The horse thing, my aunt owns two, they are work and her daughter are all horse lovers. They don't ride every day, the groom, clean up after, feed them and train them. You don't own a horse just for riding, my cousin gets really worked up about how horses get neglected by owners who know next to nothing on looking after and only bought them as show ponies.

Their horses are great though. I stayed at their house and sometimes they let them roam closer to the house and one time my cousin ( different one ) woke up and saw the horse through the back door and said Hello Horsey, and their horse decided to be friendly and come to the door and poke his head in. Scared the shit out of her. Wished I had recorded it.

if anything they should be happy they have people to critique them so they can address the things everyone is thinking but not saying and try to improve on them. their friends and family aren't going to tell them all the negatives or are maybe too biased to see them.
