I also think it's part of why the loss theme of her channel has fallen to the wayside. (I know there have been some complaints that she doesn't even address the roots of the channel anymore). I've never gotten the sense that the miscarriage/stillbirth were a grieving process for Bryan. I'm not saying he has to, or that he didn't grieve correctly. But I don't think it affected him at the same emotional depth as Missy.

For example, Missy's 'Portrait of a Mother' video clearly conveys that women become mothers as soon as they want children, even if they've been infertile, even if they can't carry to term. I've never picked up that Bryan felt he was a father before Oliver was born. (I mean, I don't really believe the reality of being responsible for a human being has quite sunk in for him still ) And you have to be emotionally mature in order to feel that kind of depth from loss. I don't doubt that Bryan found the loss of the the 2 pregnancies sad or disappointing, but he still behaves rather like a teenager as far as grief is concerned. I mean, let's not forget, he filmed a funeral....

I guess I'm trying to say, because the losses were not that significant to Bryan they aren't something he thinks about in directing her channel. Food for thought :/

I remember her also saying in a video something along the lines of she's not someone who likes to grieve by talking about it. Yet, in her blog she talked about how with her first pregnancy she wish she would of told people early on so that she didn't have to grieve in silence when the miscarriage happened.

Bryan definitely had an impact of her change of direction with her channel. That makes me so sad for her. Women should not have to feel alone or that it's taboo to mention.

I think it's really cute how Ollie was their 3rd boy. It was almost like it as meant to be for the other two sweet boys who didn't make it.

I'm sure it will be mentioned in a vlog soon how we're all oh so terrible for thinking these things of him.

One of the things that made me like Missy's channel right away was the quality and how it was edited really well. Now I perfer her causal Friday videos over the other ones. It's annoying how Bryan has started adding the sound effects and voice overs too.

I kind of like the music that's put behind some of the Monday and Wednesday videos, especially the Citrus Lane videos. Missy's old intro with the rocker-ish music (in Gabriel videos/Ollie bumpdates) was nice too. Is that exclusively to Macs or is that stuff found somewhere?

Just watched Missy's feeding baby solids video.. It sounded like she was reading those facts on the different foods. It's great that she is making his food and feeding him healthy things, I really do. But they need to lead by example, he's not going to eat his fruit and vegetables if his parents are sitting at the same table eating burgers, burritos, biscuits and gravy, chicken gnocchi soup, cookies, cake etc etc. he will eat healthy up until he's around 2 or probably even younger before he wants to eat what they're eating and he will get picky.
Missy and Bryan need to change THEIR eating habits before Oliver is old enough to notice how they eat or he will be eating the same shit they are by the time he's 2-3. And given bryan struggles with his weight, Oliver probably will too, unless they instill healthy habits in him at a young age.
