BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
You guys need to quit your bitching, it's all your fault anyway that Bryan can't go to the gym anymore since you told the world where he works out. Lmao. He never did join another gym after he was "forced to quit" for privacy reasons. That makes me speculate so much harder that the whole gay hookup theory was true.

Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
While I must admit, the whole gaining weight and Missy's terrible hair talk is getting old (I usually scroll down or ignore when it see a post about them), Bryan was the one who told the entire world WHERE he worked out at. Everybody knew that he worked out at LA Fitness because he would say it himself.
I think he stopped going the gym because he's ashamed and embarrassed that he didn't lose those 10 pounds for Shaytober. Then again, Bryan and Missy NEVER stick to anything. Who knows how long before they stop taking Ollie to swimming lessons.

I give it maybe like 5 more lessons before they stop. I mean, they made it to 6 months with cloth diapering and then quit.

Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
To be fair, cloth diapering is hard. It's not for everyone. the only thing that really bugs me is that they got pretty much all their cloth diapers for free. I would kill to have all those charlie bananas. I'm probably going to have to use Alvas and used diapers from consignment stores and there they have all these fancy cloth diapers and they still couldn't cut it. I don't want to judge because I've never cloth diapered myself though I hope to, but I hope they at least resell those barely used diapers so that someone gets some use out of them.
Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
Cloth diapering is not hard. (Assuming you have no water restrictions like some parts of the world, but our water bill is maybe $2 different when we are washing diapers. That's also got to include extra baby laundry in general to be fair, because I am comparing the difference between no baby in the house in diapers to adding a baby and all the laundry that comes with it.) I know no different though because my kids have never been in disposables. Screw selling them, they should pay it forward and give those free diapers to someone in need

my son is 4 months. i just started cloth diapering. the only reason they stopped was because they didn't want to have to clean up his poop.

Good point. I don't even know why I suggested reselling them, it totally makes sense to give them away to someone else that's in real need.annat88 wrote:Cloth diapering is not hard. Cloth diapering shouldn't be hard when you have not only the stash, but all day everyday to clean them when needed... Lol

Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
Unfortunately water is really expensive in my area because of city water levies and restoration project taxes and stuff. we pay for water and sewage so our monthly bill is about 100 dollars and we don't have a baby yet. Is there any way to cut down on water usage with cloth diapers?

I know! I am terribly jealous they received all their diapers for free!springsahm wrote:To be fair, cloth diapering is hard. When our son was first born, we couldn't afford the upfront price of cloth diapers, so we did disposables (we were newly weds). Our son is now 2 years old and we just switched to cloth and soon I will have our expected newborn in cloth as well. I can understand if they were both working that cloth diapering would be difficult, but they both stay home! I am a stay at home mom and I find cloth much better then disposables. I really enjoy it, they only difference between the two is convenience. My husband and I ordered the alva baby diapers and so far are very pleased with them, no way we could have afforded bum geniuses or charlie bananas.
I really think they should do a give away of the diapers or something, especially since they received them for free (or did they buy some of them?). There are probably quite a few of viewers who could benefit from a giveaway like that.
*EDIT* I also wanted to add, here in Florida, literally every single apartment I have rented has had free water. We just have to pay electric. I know this isn't so everywhere in the States, especially the state I am originally from. So I honestly can not say rather or not it is more expensive to cloth, water wise.

I dont watch them anymore have they fully admitted that they are stopping the cloth? I think it's crazy as well since they were all for free.

Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
They both DO NOT work, cloth diapering is not hard. Only if you make it hard. They had a routine but got fucking lazy. That's what it is. And now they're Uper lazy because they have to flush the poop instead of throwing it in washer. They are lazy period. It's not hard.
Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
They can buy the sprayer...
I agree cloth is not hard, it's extra laundry... I seriously wish they would go away...

Our landlord won't allow us to alter the plumbing, so we use a flower pot (or watering can, whatever you want to call it). I wonder if their landlord is the same? It literally takes less then a minute or so to clean a poopy diaper in the toilet.msliss wrote:They can buy the sprayer...

I agree that cloth is not hard at all, they did have a routine, they DID get lazy. Yes things change once baby starts solids, but come on, it's not like it adds ten extra steps. When our son started solids I took about a 4 day cloth break, just long enough for the sprayer that I ordered to get to our house because I had dropped the ball on the purchasing of the sprayer until the day we started solids. other then that I don't see much of a difference in time. x.x I am curious how long she will breastfeed for.

Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
I'd like to be able to cloth diaper, but water bills are expensive as hell in Canada, at least where I am. There is only 2 of us,we already use only cold water,I only wash laundry once a week,on weekends(cheaper) we take short showers and often shower together haha! Don't own a dishwasher. We're just conserve water as much as possible, our bill is already over 200$ and baby isn't even here yet haha.
I'm not surprised they've quit, they often only do things because they see others doing it,and think it's the "in" thing to do.Not to mention the fact Missy pretty much bitches and whines anytime she does laundry.
We're talking about a couple who were worn out from laying down in a park,I'm surprised they don't have heart attacks taking a shower.

Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
In one of Missy's videos, I think maybe her last "ask missy," she says that they have "taken a break from cloth diapering" for now.. Which means, WE STOPPED.
Re: BumsAlongtheWay Part 6
Yeah, cloth diapering is just a couple extra loads of laundry, it's not hard at all (unless maybe both parents were working as stated above). I agree it's probably because he started solids. But my son has been on solids for almost 6 months and his poop is EASIER now than before! It turned almost a play doh texture and plops right off and doesn't need to be sprayed. Cloth diapering has been easier since solids for us lol.

A lifestyle of conspicuous consumption isn't sustainable in the long-term. Just sit back and wait.
