I sometimes think Missy really is just naive and innocent and believes every word her slimy husband says. I bet he thought ahhh why bother donating. No one will know and I have needs like burritos and a new bed. No one will know the difference. Meanwhile Missy fully believes they paid it and fully believes his stupid stories.

Yeah I think it's very strange that they didn't even let the ranch know that they were having a fundraiser. I didn't watch them back when they were doing it, but if it started when Missy was volunteering wouldn't she mention it to the people who work there since I'm sure she formed some sort of relationship with them.

Bryan could clear this all up real quick with a screen shot of the failed paypal payment. As a previous small business owner I have been using paypal for several years and I can go back at least 8 months and see all of my history- sent, received, failed, and refunded payments. If he could show a screen shot showing failed payment in December/January his name would be cleared. But I'm pretty sure he can't. I knew from the beginning they wouldn't donate.

Also, don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but why did Bryan say in his askbryan video that they raised $300, but now he is saying they only raised ~$200 and decided to add an extra ~$100 of their own. Trying to make himself look better? They are so odd. I can't even understand their logic. Can't make sure the horse ranch gets their $300 donation, but you can make sure target/free birds/Olive Garden/bestbuy gets over half of your yearly income.

As much as this doesn't surprise me that this is something Bryan would do (IMO I feel like Missy was clueless about it), it still is big news.
I just hope the next person that finds juicy gossip will just say it and post their evidence, rather than form their own little club and have pages of "pm me!"

I am SO angry and sick of these two. Their adsense account (or whatever they use for getting paid from youtube) should be deactivated, and so should their accounts. There is no excuse for scamming so many innocent people, and they should no longer have the privilege of getting paid for their videos. It's disgusting. And how hungry they are for views is so aggravating. The way he edited his "meeting dad for the first time" video was clearly because he knew Troy was going to post it on his page. All they care about is the money.
These people sicken me, truly.

No offence but the fact that so many of you think it's "no big deal" is really disheartening to me. No big deal that so many young people probably begged their parents to buy the merch with the intentions of helping out a horse ranch? $300 may be "no big deal" but are we forgetting that the money came from NORMAL PEOPLE with GOOD INTENTIONS and just helped lined the pockets of these two pieces of scum? I'm sorry but I really don't understand how being upset over this is acting over dramatic. Whether it be $3 or $300, they still scammed people, point blank period, and that is a big deal no matter how you slice it.

I think it is a big deal, essentially they were stealing from charity which is about as low as you can get
BUT
I don't think it is going to be a big deal to them, they'll just brush it off, keep vlogging their shit lives, and their fans are gonna believe the 'omg it didn't work? Darn paypal' story.

I was so ready to completely forgive them and call it a mistake. It happens. Especially if you don't monitor your account and have enough money, you might not think to check or even forget about it. But it is true people were asking them daily about it so they did not forget and you know they would have made a video. Some people donate anonymously, but with Bryan nothing is anonymous! You know he would have wanted that praise and he would have probably tagged Shay or Charles to try and get props from them.

I had definitely been thinking it was all Bryan as well and not Missy, but we'll never know.

We do have all of this filed in case they ever try to raise money through bumpers again! And in the end the ranch got their money so I'm glad for that :)

I would be interested to see a statement from Spreadshirt showing exactly what was sold, to doublecheck that they're telling the truth about the proceeds. What if they made more and think they deserve a cut?

BM, if you're shady about some things, people are going to suspect you of being shady about all the things. Deal with it.

I've said it before, but if he can lie about small things then he can lie about bigger issues. For example; lying about the student driver in front of his car that was clearly an empty road.

I've used paypal for over 6 years, 1000+ times and I've never had a transaction not go through. For anyone that has had this issue, did paypal send you an email of the failed transaction? I would almost guarantee they would.

I agree with you ladybug. I have always said that if I find out that you have lied to me then everything that you have said and will say in the future beomes a lie because I am too busy to figure out which pieces are lies and which pieces are the truth. And frankly, since he seems to be caught lying more frequently he might be in that 'pathological liar' category and may not even know when he is lying and when he is telling the truth. They would be better off if they would just chalk this up to getting caught and get real jobs now. They are obviously not cut out to be in this position if they can't even handle a small donation situation properly.

And honestly, when does he NOT grandstand about petty shit that they "accomplish"? If he had actually sent the ranch money, he would have made a huge fucking deal about it. Obviously, they were too busy playing video games and baking chocolate birthday cakes to make a Paypal transaction and a video about it.

YES! He would have vlogged it while he was doing it, she would have vlogged it for her random mommy channel video, then they would have talked about it for a whole video, then they would have gone back to the ranch to ask in person if they got the check, then they would have probably demanded that a horse be named after them for such a 'generous donation',and talk to everyone that they know about how they saved the life of a horse that day. It wouldn't have been as simple as they forgot to mention it in a video.

I have, and it still shows up in my history. I believe I also received emails. This has only happened a couple times, but I believe it was because I entered the wrong email for the recipient. So I can see how it would be possible that Bryan's original payment failed. There is record of it if he really did try to send the payment.
