I cant imagine how they would have ANY credit. They've never owned a home, always rented, neither of them really works so Im not sure they would be able to get a substantial credit card, unless Laytons dad legit pays him out of the company and not just a cash kinda deal, and now that I think about it I don't think they purchased either vehicle either.

I thought she said in one of her moving videos that they were renting it. I'll have to go back and look but I thought she mentioned renting I never recall her saying anything about buying until that comment. And kind of interesting that they never mentioned signing any papers and usually you do that the local title place when you buy a house. I think if anyone bought the house it was Layton's parents!

If they bought the house, Laura would be showing us a video of them going to the bank, signing her life away at paperwork and proudly showing off their house keys. My guess would be Layton's dad bought the house and they are paying him like a rent to own deal.

Like it has been said, with Layton's work ethic there is no way a bank would give him a loan and she has no credit/work salary to help pay the mortgage. The only way it could be done is if she is getting some type of monthly inheritance from a trust, like someone has stated, or his or her parents are helping pay their way.

Does she really think that her viewers are stupid? I mean, we have seen parts of her vag three different times while she gave birth, we have seen her boobs in random videos over the last 8 months... if she is willing to show all of that, she would DEFINITELY be vlogging the entire home buying process. And even if it isn't their first time to own a home (I think they said years ago tha they owned their first home in FL) they would definitely be excited for the 'getting the keys' part... 100% renting

You can look up records online in Florida to see if someone has a mortgage. All I have to do is enter my name and it's right there.

She has complained about the carpet in the dining room several times. If they actually bought the house, then why can't they just rip out the carpet in the dining room? Instead, they are putting a rug down? That sounds like something a renter would do. Isn't Layton a handyman/contractor? It would take less than a day for him and his dad to remove carpet from one room and sand the floors.

Sure...it's nice until it starts getting full of stains. I lived in carpeted apartments and it was a pain in the ass, even with a steam cleaner. She is going to miss having hard flooring. The whole house situation is weird. They will probably be moving to Georgia next to be by her parents.

THIS! That's a great point. If they bought the house, she would have said, "I know, so weird that there's carpet in the dining room - we're going to pull that up first." Instead of, oh yeah it's weird we're gonna throw a rug on it. Unless she is just that lazy, this is Lora we're talking about.

But, as it's been said before - there is no way she wouldn't vlog getting house keys with as big of a deal as she makes about, well, everything. Does anyone know if they've ever purchased a house during their marriage?

There's no shame in renting a house. Why do they want to pretend they bought it? Is it really that huge of a deal that they have to put on this facade of being homeowners?

I can kind of understand buying a house without seeing it in person first. I think it's kind of crazy but people do it. Shrug.

What I don't get is that she didn't even know there would be a pantry and separate toilet. Even if you buy over the Internet, you see a floor plan first.

She's lying. Or there's some loophole to it, like suggested above, perhaps her father in law bought it. She's reminding me more and more of Lucy lately. Half truths and smoke screens to make things look peachy.

Personally, I don't like the house. It is quite dark, not much natural light, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms. The carpet is going to show every spill. Maybe it was just her video but it seemed a bit like a rabbit warren.

Does anyone believe that they really bought it? I mean I feel like she would have mentioned SOMETHING about the home buying process if it was true. Especially if she made it a point to tell everyone that they bought their van outright.

Buying a house and getting a loan seem like a very complicated process. A bank doesn't just hand out money to people who wants to buy a house. There must be lots of work done in order to get a loan and buy a house.
Lora and her husband had been doing nothing but hanging out with the neighbor lady, going to gym, sitting around at Tripp's taekwondo practice for months before they moved. And as soon as they made the move, the new house magically appeared. Now they are home owners? I've had enough with her fairy tale stories.

Yeah,,,she mentioned ages ago that they had found a house. I assumed it was a rental then because she didn't make a big deal about it. She has always made a big fuss about the fact that one day they will actually buy a house. It's just not like her to downplay this. Either they have not bought at all, or someone else bought it for them or she didn't get a say in it at all. As I said, half truths and smoke screens.

It's the same as when Jessica moved, everyone was asking "Did you buy it." And she was playing coy. Truth came out when they were able to ditch it so quickly. Truth will catch up with Lora too. Life isn't such a fairytale.
