The theater shooting did happen there but I don't think I'd say it's ghetto. If I had to guess about drugs my money would be on meth. It's a HUGE problem statewide.

I live in Colorado too thats why I said it lol. That area has just always been iffy to me. Like montbello and those smaller parts of Aurora are bad from what ive heard.

I really haven't spent much time there at all. I can agree that some areas have the potential to be iffy. I always tend to think all of colorado is so harmless since where I grew up was definitely not lol.

Didn't offend me at all I tend to forget how socially acceptable pot is here amongst the adults I know. I tend to forget about the kids that can't use it responsibly.

I was just watching Hazzel's birthday party and I noticed in her intro she doesn't mention Albert. I know she said he moved to a diff state to work, but I'm just curious to know if they are still together or not?

That is exactly what I was thinking, she rarely mentions him. And nope, he wasn't at her party.

He's in New Mexico for work, I think Haylee said he should hopefully be back by Hazzels birthday and he still wires money to them. I hope they haven't broken up. I remember is her room tour she put writing at the beggining of her video 'Please do not ask about Albert' which I found odd. She still has him in her YT channel banner doesn't she?

When your SO is away, it's easy to get used to them not being there, and you almost stop missing them. This will be a test of their relationship. Albert has been gone for quite awhile, though. I feel like it's been at least six months. And Haylee has only shown him visiting once, although maybe he visited more and she didn't show it. New Mexico isn't *that* far. At most he would probably be an 8-9 hour drive away, so I'd think he'd visit at least once a month or so? But he hasn't.

I'm surprised Albert turned out to be such a douche. Haylee is a smart, strong girl so I think she's going to be fine.. But I feel bad for Hazzel. Now can someone go from seeing their child everyday to not even calling? I'll never understand that.

I wonder the same thing - especially in my own life - but I'm not putting the personal story out there. Let's just say people have their ways. I hope Haylee and Hazzel are strong enough (Hazzel in her teenage/young adult years especially) to recognize her mother as the clearly better parent.

This explains a lot. I thought it was odd in her ditl video she didn't film Hazzel talking to Albert on the phone, the don't ask about Albert in her room tour, her getting job which I'm happy she is doing cause I thought it was to double her savings.

I'm proud of her for able to keep it to herself for 4-5 months and not blast it over the internet. Poor cherub, she really loved him, it takes a year to properly grieve a relationship. And poor Hazzel, to have a active hands on dad and be daddy's little girl to now not see or hear him at all. Albert is an idiot.

Yeah I was confused about that because the difference driving wise is an hour (7 to Colorado from NM and 8 to Arizona). But maybe it's because he really hated Arizona like she said and wasn't going to drive that far even for Hazzel? Who knows. If he's not calling that often, I can't see him driving 7 hours a weekend to see her.
