Since they're probably considered self-employed (or maybe independent contractors? I don't know how YouTube does it) they do have to take their own taxes out and pay it by themselves every year. If they're smart they have an accountant to handle everything and pay quarterly, but this is the Bums I'm talking about so they probably aren't that smart.

They probably make just slightly more than the video suggests. It doesn't take into account their association with babyleague, merch sales or their sponsors (huluplus, that recipe channel they plugged). Not to mention all the gifts they get from viewers. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they sold/returned 75% of the gifts for more cash.
They seem to definitely be spending beyond their means, and I hope they're putting at least some of what they make into savings for Ollie.

I haven't watched any VF vlogs... but was really surprised to see they were already at 125k subscribers.

So I became curious...

According to Social Blade... DB went from averaging 300-500 subscribers a day in late July... to 1100-1500 a day as of last week?!

The jump in daily subscribers was ridiculous:

8/7: 480
8/8: 585
8/9: 1,395
8/10: 1,356

... and it hasn't been below 1,100 since.

To put that in perspective... during the same time period, here are daily subscriber growth ranges for other YouTubers:

NiveNulls: 256 - 465
Itsjudyslife: 717 - 1,012
Ctfxc: (-)356 - 120
C&K: 41 - 339
Shaytards: 3,067 - 4,499
SacconeJolys*: 1,347-1,950

So if you're reading that 'right'... DailyBumps is picking up nearly half the amount of Subscribers as the Shaytards on a daily basis... with about a 2million+ difference in daily video views between the two.

I'm not saying he's buying subscribers and/or views... but something seems 'off' to me.

*There's evidence on Guru of the SJ's buying views and subscribers... this seems to be the 'channel curve' Bryan is following.

It could be people at VF are like, "Who are these people?" and checking their channel out. Bryan probably made a bunch of business cards for the "biggest daily vlogging family!" to hand out to anyone and everyone.

Before, they are independent contractors. They usually all have to pay taxes at once.

That's no where near enough to support their elaborate spending. It's probably not 100% accurate, but if it's close then they are really not spending wisely at all. No savings or anything.

I think the only thing I've liked Missy in lately is the red/pink dress that she wore in a pic of her and Ellie on instagram. I though she looked cute in it.

Yes, true. I watched a couple others like BFvsGF they make a shit ton. I mean a lot! More than Shaytards. Also, sxephil. It makes a lot of sense if you pay close attention to the things they do and have especially just carrying around a camera and filming yourself. I wish I was interesting.

I don't think anyone (ok.. not EVERYONE) thinks she's ugly. She just doesn't know how to dress and do her hair appropriately. I'm not a fashion guru by far (heck, I'm typically a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal myself) but I at least know that some of the things she wears just doesn't work for her.
