Oh I agree! It is ironic. I was just being a little defensive because I'm a Christian.(And I have no interest in ever getting a tattoo) But I'm not defending Lindsay, she's far from Christian.

I saw that tattoo a while back in an article that popped up on Facebook with one of the Jonas brothers. I couldn't tell you if he started the trend or not. But I think it's just trendy and she'll get tired of it eventually

This atheist doesn't even flinch when people get HUGE crosses as tattoos. I support people being able to do whatever they feel it's right for them, no question.
But some people are genuine, some are cheap fake.

I follow KinkiNikki4 sometimes (piercing/lifestyle videos/emotional health vlogs etc. ) she is very into her spirituality but she is not into the organized religion at all.
Except she had even huge religious tattoos. That's how she feels about it.
I think it's cool when people do that. Think for themselves.

Christians (or whichever other religion) should be able to pick what feels right for them (birth control, premarital sex, divorce...etc.) and still consider themselves Christians.
As long as you don't keep pushing the hard letter of the law on others.

i am not an expert on the bible and i am sure nobody (me included) wants a religious debate. But i think the general idea as to why Christians dont follow all these weird rules like not wearing certain cloths together and such is because they are part of the Old Testament laws. People in the Old Testament followed these laws as a way to atone for their sins. When Christ came in the New Testament, He taught that way to salvation is not through following these strict, rigid rules, but instead through believing in Him and following His teachings. That is a VERY simplified version. It is a huge topic. But i think that is the general idea.
