Really? Because I can remember plenty of times when we both talked about people together and all the horrible things you said about Vanessa and Jessica. Guess it only counts when someone talks about you. I could probably even get screenshots if I had the time.

Thank you, darling. If I could thank you three times I would. It kills my heart when I see Tayler purposely scaring or mocking her kids like they're just some cheap entertainment for her.

I never understood why it's illegal for gay people to get married but okay for people like tayler to get married. I'm glad gay marriage is legal here in Canada, but it just sounds so weird saying that, like gay marriage is a crime. Smh
I live and have grown up in a town that is not diverse at all. seriously everyone is white and catholic or white and atheist, no Jewish people no Muslims no African Americans or Mexicans etc. And the amount of slurs that go around here is crazy. But more often then not people say it because they are desensitized and not out of hate and don't understand how hurtful those words can be. It's not right by any means but it's the sad truth.
Tayler knows the difference but doesn't care to think about how words like that can effect someone.

Although I do not like nor agree with african americans who choose to use the N word amongst themselves, it is a lot different than a non black person saying it and doesn't enrage me like a white person saying it, obviously. Here's a good article about this: http://africanamericanenglish.com/2010/ ... rspective/cakewalked wrote:I grew up in the north so I have NO idea but how do you guys feel about rappers, usually black, using that word in place of words like friend, homie, etc. like "he's my nigga" or what not. it's really prevalent in the American music industry.
Just to put it out there, if some young black guy walked up to my dad and called him the N word, no matter how he meant it, my dad would probably lay him out. Not all nor even a vast majority of black people are okay with the use of the word by anyone, even other black people.

Yeah. I grew up in the Bronx so I heard this a lot from Black rappers and Blacks in general- and it always infuriated me I mean... like I can kind of sort of understand the idea of taking the N word and appropriating it for ourselves so it becomes something acceptable and transforming it into more than a slur, but once again, *most* of the Black people I know who use this word have no idea or connection to racism on a systematic level, so it feels wrong to me. Obviously I cannot speak for all minorities, and if a person feels empowered for using that word, like they are reclaiming their heritage from appropriation, okay. It still really bothers me when I hear other blacks tossing around "nigga" like it's nothing. For the most part, their parents didn't have to separate and they didn't grow up in a broken home solely because of race (my mom's half black, half white and never met her bio dad because he felt he couldn't be with a dark skinned black woman like my grandma back in 1963). My grandpa (technically great-grandpa, but he raised my mother as his own after her birth father split, and in fact until she was 13 my mom thought her grandparents were her parents, she thought her mother was her older sister, and that her half sisters and half brother were her niece and nephew- how fucked up is that? ALL because of race) was identified as a Negro first and a man second. When I was in 1st grade I went to school in an almost exclusively white Catholic school, I was punched in the face and given a black eye at the age of 6 and when asked why he did it, the little boy who assaulted me said it's because I'm black. My mom confronted his mom about it and her only response was "boys will be boys," like it was totally okay for her kid to be a delinquent bigot, because, you know, society and stuff.cakewalked wrote:I grew up in the north so I have NO idea but how do you guys feel about rappers, usually black, using that word in place of words like friend, homie, etc. like "he's my nigga" or what not. it's really prevalent in the American music industry.
So... yeah, most black people I know who use "nigga" so liberally never had to deal with the ramifications of being a "nigg-er." Not to say they have not experienced racism, I am almost certain that most, if not all minorities have experienced it at one time or another- but in this era racism is generally accepted as wrong, whereas "nigg'er" comes from a time not long ago at all where if you were being discriminated against for being black, no one stood up for you. And it kind of hurts me that all of that history has been almost forgotten and is almost acceptable now, but again that's only me and I certainly can't speak for every brown person.
And LOL @Something saying your dad would lay out a person who called him the N word, my granddad would have done the same thing, you best believe Teehee, but my grandpa also used to keep a baseball bat in the trunk of his car "just in case" he ran into someone who deserved it, he was an ornery old man God bless him, regardless of race- if you talked to him disrespectfully he'd sure as HELL let you know it's not cool, so maybe that's where I get my feistiness from

You know you've got an even longer way to go when that said man who killed Mike Brown, Darren Wilson, has not only gotten off scott-free but is being on paid leave and in protection for HIS safety. This is not the first time a white police officer has shot and killed a black person out of pure racism then disguised it as "oh, I thought they were reaching for a weapon" or completely bullshitted the entire story. And as much as it pains me to say, won't be the last. Until white people as a whole take full responsibility for the mistreatment and oppression of PoC and men take full responsibility for the mistreatment and oppression of women; the world will not change.HeavenOnlyKnows wrote:This just... My heart just breaks reading this. I cried reading this. I am so, so sorry you and your dad had to experience this. But this is what I'm saying; the world, as a whole, is not ready for mixed couples and families. I know that we as a society have come a long way in breaking down racial stereotypes, but when a parent cannot take their child out in public without stares at best and POLICE INTERROGATION at worst- it means we still have a long way to go. It means that we can't take anything for granted, we can't just assume that because "we" as individuals are okay with different races intermarrying that the rest of the world is okay with it- because in most cases, the world is not. I could recount so many stories of how my Hispanic granddad and my Black grandparents were stereotyped and mistreated, but I won't. I can tell you so many instances of how my life was harder being brown and how I would have had it easier if I was white like some of my relatives, but I won't. All I will say is, PLEASE do not think you're being "cute" by talking about Niggas. It doesn't make you a badass. It doesn't make you cool. It makes you a fucking ignorant, delinquent, sorry excuse of a person and someone seriously needs to educate you.SomethingGoodCanWork wrote:I remember being in the grocery store with my dad when I was about 5. Now, mind you I am a pale white redhead lol. We were just grocery shopping as usual when suddenly a police officer approached and grabbed my arm and asked my dad "where did you get this girl from?" Dad looked at him like he was crazy and said "she's my daughter. well, my wife's daughter but I adopted her." The officer then proceeded to take me against my will about 20ft away so dad couldn't hear or see me and asked me "do you know this man?" I said "yes he's my daddy" as if this guy was a complete dumb ass. He let me go back to my dad but just the fact that the store manager had called 911 instead of just approaching and asking in the first place was insane. That was the first and only time I've ever seen my dad cry in 25 years. He was scared to take me out alone for years after that.
I hate the way my people of my race (white) pat themselves on the back for not being racist. Any of you see that video that was going around a few months back where ago where the black boy came back to class and those white girls were all nice and hugging him? First of all, it was clearly staged. Second, I hated how they gave those children ass pats for not being racist. You're supposed to treat all your peers, no matter their color or background, kindly and with respect. Unless they disrespect you/are rude to you. It should be expected of you. Might sound horrible but I can't wait until anyone older than the baby boomers die off so we can finally get rid of the notion that going back to being conservative/like it was in the the 1950s is a good idea. You know who the 1950s were good for? Straight, white cis men. Even better if they were rich. The 1950s way of life benefited NO ONE besides white men.
Also, this discussion made me think of this:
I clicked the "thank" button 10 times but only one showed up
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit."

I wish Tayler could wrap her pea sized brain around the fact that in that screenshot, you could replace "strong women" with "strong, intelligent, worthy human being".
It blows my mind how she's all for women building each other up, but she will use derogatory words like f*ggot or nigga casually and see nothing wrong with it.
She would be up in arms if someone referred to her as that white-ass cùnt bitch, I'm sure.
I would be if someone brought my race into it, along with gender over my intelligence or feelings.
I was born in the south, where the "n word" is something you pick up fairly early.
I'm ashamed to think how I used to use it to describe another person, a human being with thoughts, emotions and a brain, but it was considered normal.
I had black friends who would call each other, and myself that as a joke. But it really isn't one.
I'm honestly appalled that it being 2014, people still use horrible words like that in a way that isn't funny, cute or tolerant at all.
My whole body is cringing.

I think this is referring to when Kristy (Krissy?) saw Allyshia posting about how she was TTC again in a private group and posted SS in my mom group, because she had said the night before that she changed and wasn't going to TTC until she was stable. There was a big hoopla over it.[kayrawrr] wrote:Well looks like Vanessa hasn't been the only one to be creeping around on here, then posting all about it on social media..

She's not even nice when she does shoutouts, because she'll literally say, "follow this beautiful mommy! I love her and her sweet little family!" to almost every girl as if she knows them well. I very much doubt that Tayler has ever talked to any of these girls she shoutouts, let alone know their names. Tayler has never been nice to anyone, she thinks the world should be nice to HER. Even if she tries to, she's only doing it to kiss major ass to get some followers.mamamayhem14 wrote:I've never known of her building anyone up. Not even her own kids. ^ This! Wish I knew how to thank from my phone (it's probably really simple, but I haven't figured it out yet..) Almost all of the YT moms are self-centered to a degree, but Tayler really takes it to the next level. She demands respect, but respects no one herself, not even her kids. I've never really seen her put anyone before herself. I remember back when Chuckles lost his job and they had absolutely no money, a couple of her followers suggested she sell some of the expensive electronics Chuckie had gotten for her only a few months before. Then her infamous "I don't want to sell my things, they're MY things!" Forget the kids and their needs, Tayler thinks she shouldn't have to do without. It amazes me how she sometimes posts up these long rants about how her kids always come first and they never do without, when everything she has done suggests the contrary. She comes first, her needs always come first. Like, what kind of mother goes out and spends her son's first birthday money on a new pair of Toms for herself? She's selfish to the core, and everyone else (including her kids) will always come in second.
Not to harp on a topic from a few pages back, but that picture she just posted up of Jakoby really reminds me of a picture someone from here posted of Ethan:
(If you can ignore all that "sassiness" taking up the picture)
Took me awhile to find, but here's the image of Ethan I was talking about:
Sorry, don't know how to do a side-by-side. But the shapes of their mouths, their chins, how both their ears stick out the same. Twins.

A paternity test should be done on both Jakoby and Ethan. I wonder what would happen if it comes out that Ethan is Jakoby's father.

i never post here but this is such a sad story, i cried. tayler is an asshole, i remember her supporting that duck dynasty guy when he made awful racist and homophobic statements, and even posted things about it on facebook.SomethingGoodCanWork wrote:I remember being in the grocery store with my dad when I was about 5. I honestly believe Chuckie is Jakoby's father. I remember a long time ago tayler posted a picture of Chuckie as a baby and he looked dead on like Jakoby. Like to the molecule. I think the only difference between jakoby and his sisters are his brown eyes and hair color.
