i apologize if this has been discuseed, but i was reading her last post in "diary of a real teen mom". In her last post she says she has been in only 2 RELATIONSHIPS since she was 15. Not sure why she capitalized the word "relationship". But she moves so fast with guys that i have a hard time believing she has been in only 2.

I really don't understand what she's bragging about. I was a teenage mother (I'm now 23 with two kids and married to their father) and in my final year of my bachelors degree, and it's hard!!! Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't she only been taking pre entry courses until now? I would say come back to me after she has had to juggle placement and childcare and family commitments and housework but she actually doesn't do half of that. She has it very lucky compared to the majority of teen or young mums who are studying and I can't imagine she has anything of value to say.

If Lindsey barely passed her pre entry, I double shell make it all the way thru nursing because it only gets harder and more stressful!

Yep!! I'm currently saving for my next placement in March, it's 5 weeks long and will cost me around $2500 in childcare, not to mention petrol costs and all the other expenses that go along with it. And I'm blessed enough to live somewhere that my 3 year old gets 20 hours of subsidised childcare each week, I can imagine the cost would be much higher living somewhere without a scheme like that. And all the stress of working 8+ hours a day then having to go home and study for several more, along with kids / housework. There's no way she could manage if she actually had to do what the rest of us do. Going to preach her success to young mums is silly because most of them will not be in the position she is in.
