Also, holy over-medication, Batman! Missy is clearly able to function and up and walking around. I don't think she needs three medications plus antibiotics. If my doctor ever gave me all that crap for a cold I would switch doctors.

just watched the vlog. i was cringing so so so hard at the cooking part. these idiots have no idea. it is so obvious they never cook with fresh food. you don't take the sausage out of the casing... you cook it and then slice it. and taking out the onion out of a very basic recipe to add processed onion powder? not knowing how to prepare garlic. not realising that cabbage wilts. WHAT THE FUCK. you're married with a baby and have the money AND TIME to cook fresh meals that are full of nutrience.

they're setting up oliver to be as unhealthy as they are. feeding him fried chicken again when he clearly does not like it. they're on the way to getting diabetes, especially bryan. i'm just gonna call him bryabetes now.

Didn't watch the vlog (refuse to give them views) but if she really has a cold and just a cold , medication and antibiotics don't do crap ITS A VIRUS you can't make it go away with medication. Unless she developed pneumonia, chest or lung infection antibiotics won't get rid of a damn cold like the flu. Antibiotics are horrible to take unless you actually need them for an infection/prevention after surgery and if you don't take them for the exact number of days prescribed/use them all up then you can develop a resistance to antibiotics and then your screwed.

Sorry for that rant but it's ridiculous the amount of people that go to the doctors for antibiotics for their cold -.- especially the ER.

Her doctor said that the cold had settled into a chest infection/pneumonia. The inhaler was definitely necessary. And she was told to only take the antibiodics if the other meds didn't clear her up in a week. My doc does the same thing; writes two prescriptions at once so I don't have to come in for a second appt.
I don't know why she filled the script though. I wouldn't have filled it unless I needed it.

Wow I was only covered under my dads insurance as long as I lived with them. When I moved out I automatically didn't qualify to be covered anymore. Weird how it works in different parts of the world

Double post sorry but in the states can you not buy medical insurance almost like car insurance or do you have to have a job with benefits? Sorry I'm canadian so Im not sure how it works down there.
If you can they should do that, what if one of them randomly needed emergency surgery and they weren't covered by Missy's parents anymore. Or what about Ollie how is he covered? Im sooo confused.

i have no clue either. i'm from australia and we're fortunate enough to have a fantastic health care system just like canada. but from what i've read, missy and ollie are covered under her parents insurance. and yes you can buy insurance but i've read for basic it costs like $200 a month or something.

They can buy insurance and eventually that's what they'll have to do. So Bryan doesn't have insurance then that's why he never goes to the doctor and Missy goes right away.

I have a feeling Ollie is going to be the mean kid on the playground. He just has that mean look about him, plus his lack of discipline isn't helping him any.
When the new baby comes (gag) Oliver is not going to be the loving big brother that Missy and Bryan are expecting him to be, that's for sure. He's going to freak. the. fuck. out. And they will laugh it off and keep trying to put the baby on his lap or something, just for cute instagram pics. Ollie will lash out on the new baby. It won't be pretty.

Ollie is most likely covered under Suzanne's insurance with Bryan.

There are many different plans and companies. In short, a good plan is $170+ but then your copays raise. You basically pay now or later and it is expensive.

Most hospitals (aside from private) can't refuse you medical attention but you pay an outrageous fee later. So them needing emergency services wouldn't be an issue as long as they pay the bill.

that's interesting! i was always under the impression that in the US if you had no insurance you wouldn't be treated in a hospital under an emergency. really thinking about it, that did not make sense because there's a lot of fundie families that have no jobs (and no insurance!) and have had emergency c-sections and stuff.

i'm thinking of doing a summary of the vlogs from now on so people don't have to watch if they don't want to because nothing interesting usually happens. anyone interested in that?

so ollie will be the next karma? because that's a disaster waiting to happen and then they will get rid of karma instead of training him (and teaching ollie to respect karma's space) in the first place. it's already happening, that's why they got the crate. notice how karma was spending more time with cassie before they 'decided' to get the crate?

ollie is going to end up just like karma. unsocialised and not taught boundaries until it's too late.
