Maybe that's what missy meant by "you should be fine" she probably just looked up if airlines actually check your vaccination record or if they just tell you to have them up to date but never check.
Customs is who checks your immunisations and whatnot. They won't let you leave the country or enter a country if you're not up to date. Plus it's for your own health and safety, as well as those in the country you're visiting. We all know how terrible Bryan's immune system is, won't hurt him to get some immunisations.
You know, it's funny. I don't remember anyone checking my immunization records for our trip to India, and I definitely had to get shots for that trip. They didn't for Costa Rica or Australia, but I don't think we needed any additional immunizations for that trip.

I wonder if it depends on the country you're from?

I was gonna say this. I've traveled back and forth from Mexico and not once was I asked about immunizations.

Makes me wonder how the people in Cambodia would react to him shoving a camera in their faces. "GUYZZZZ THESE PEEPS ARE SO COOL!! I LOOOVE BEING HERE BUT I MISS MY HOT WIFE!"

Oh really? And how many hypocritical, absolutely ludicrous parenting books did you read to reach that decision? What do you mean "every parent knows" as if a parent who may not know is doing it wrong? Listen, you can do whatever you want with your kid, but don't act like it's common sense not to have the television on for your kid to watch. I'm not saying use the television as a babysitter, but there is nothing wrong with a little screen time here and there. For fucks sake.

I'm from Australia and they require you to be up to date with your immunisations before you travel, but whether they check every person I wouldn't know. But I think it's common sense to have them, especially when travelling to countries like India.

Well, first of all, I said "baby", which generally refers to children under 2. The first time I heard this I was a little surprised that the American Academy of Pediatrics stated that children should have no time in front of a screen. I was told this at both my Baby Care Basics 101 class at the hospital I delivered at and the Parent Participation (Mommy and Me type class) that I attend. I've also read this in parenting books and internet sites. I assumed it was common knowledge since the parents I know have read and heard about this but maybe it's the area I live in or circles I'm in.

That being said, it is extremely difficult unless you don't have a t.v., computer, phone, etc. for a baby to not have some screen time. My son has looked up from playing with his toys to look at the TV from time to time and I'm not to worried about it, hell, he even has a favorite commercial that he always stop to watch when it comes on. The reason why I even stated about the zero screen time was to express how horrible it is to sit your child in front of the TV the way B & M does. Some of the recommendations are a little rigid so you try to keep these in mind while doing what works for you and your family. I wasn't trying to offend anybody for letting their LO watch TV.

I took a few child development classes a few years ago. Children under the age of 3 (I believe, it may be older) shouldn't have any screen because of their eye development. Like someone previously said, i don't believe that it's terrible to have the tv on while they're playing or something but parents that give their young children iPads consistently or put them in front of TVs are not doing them any good. Pretty sure that's why they discontinued making baby Einstein, cuz new research showed that it did more harm than good. Also, besides development, have you seen the fit some kids throw wen you take away their iPad/phone/tv? If that's not addiction I don't know wat is.

Please take your mommy wars elsewhere before this becomes a huge rambling off topic thing.

On the immunization thing.. That's what I was thinking. Missy probably just looked up online to see if they actually check your vaccinations and im guessing most of her search said no so she thinks bryan will be okay without them. Which is stupid vaccinations should always be up to date no matter where you live but especially if you're going to a third world country.

If Bryan gets sick a lot, he will get sick just from travel. I went to Ecuador with no immunizations even though we were recommended to get them, and we interacted with people with Hansen's Syndrome (leprosy) and stayed in an under-developed neighborhood. I was fine on that trip. But every time I travel internationally, even to Canada from the US, I get a terrible cold. It's probably mostly from the plane and just being exposed to so many germs. Immunizations can't protect you from that.

I'm just going to change the subject before I go off on a rant about the importance of vaccinations.

I don't understand why daily vloggers still choose to VLOG on holidays. I get wanting to record the memories. But idk I think it's weird still talking to a camera like that.
Im turning my phone off and enjoying the next two days with my son, m and b should do the same.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Exactly. Even though I don't think I had to report my vaccines doesn't mean I wouldn't have gotten them. I do want to avoid Hepatitis A and such. It doesn't look like Bryan will need anti-malarial drugs, but I guess it depends how much travel he does in the countryside.

Gosh, even when my husband didn't have health insurance before we were married, I still would have made him go to a free or low cost clinic to get a checkup.

Their priorities are so messed up. Travel to another country instead of donating that money OR buying insurance so that immunizations are a given. Especially considering how sick he always is health insurance should take priority over travel.

Ew Brian's video on his personal channel.... That was so cringeworthy. I'm really sorry but Brian makes me want to gag. His face is huge and all I could focus on was his mouth when he was talking and it made me feel sick. His face is a balloon and he is so embarrassing ugh. That's all I'm going to say.

I actually didn't hate it at all.
I'm probably the odd-man-out who prefers Bryan over Missy. I find her to be a spoiled brat, know-it-all who knows nothing and I can't stand listening to her slobber her way through sentences. I find most of her videos super shallow and ill-informed. I'm also a liberal, pro-choice, pro-marriage equality feminist atheist, and think that Missy is a holier than thou supporter of anti-choice crap. I think 98% of the reason people find Bryan annoying is because she shames him into not being himself.
Frankly, if he left her and embraced himself, whether that's gay, bi, or just a flamboyant straight guy, I think he'd end up ditching the preaching god crap and he'd be 100x more interesting to watch than Lispy.

I don't think it's Missy forcing him not to be himself. I think it's Bryan.

I seriously wanted to punch Missy in the face when she kept walking with her shoes untied. She's so childish, I bet she made Bryan tie her shoes for her.

Bryans video was painfull to watch. I think on the daily blogs he tries to hold the camera at an angle that kind of helps him look thinner but the angle that he chose for this video makes him look awful and really big. And great big surprise no video on missys channel
