A blank recipe binder so she can write all her recipes down, but she is ONLY putting her desserts in it! Really nothing exciting or that will be mentioned ever again.
It's plain laziness that she never cooks dinner. I get preferring to make desserts but seriously, just refusing to learn how to cook a few different good, healthy family meals is just childish.

Not that Bryan cooks anything actually healthy either. Grill it in pounds of butter. Smother it in store bought sauce. Wait for the minions to ask for a cooking tutorial.

That's what I do with my daughter who is I think three months older than Ollie. For instance,if she wants her sippy cup I say, "Do you want your cup? Ok. Here is your cup." and making sure I am emphasizing the word "cup". I wouldn't consider her advanced by any means but her vocabulary is way farther than Ollie's. She's starting to string short sentenced together and I can actual have short conversations with her ("Where Dada? " Dada is riding his motorcycle." "Oh, Dada Vroom-vroom!") They just need to work with him and slowly but articulately pronounce words around him. They're such little sponges at this age that he would probably pick up on it pretty quick.

Once again...Missy posts a dumb haul video instead of an update about her SIS and surgery recovery. Or even a TTC update. Isn't that what her channel is about?? She has actual content to talk about that is interesting...and chooses to show off her crap she got for Christmas. I don't post often and I usually don't get too worked up over the dumb stuff they do, but this is the one thing that really peeves me. She did it back when Ollie turned one. Instead of posting about plans for her surgery and TTC which they wouldn't shut up about, she made a video showing all the toys Ollie got for his birthday.

I agree, my daughter is 20 months old had she speaks really well (which I do think is partly because of her big brother) but I talk to my kids like they're people not babies. I don't do baby talk and I don't repeat the way they pronounce words, I use the correct pronunciation. Like she says puzzle like "shussle" and I say "do you want a puzzle?" And she says "yes shussle". It's not hard to help your kids learn how to pronounce words, speak to them like little people and not babies.. And actually speak to your kids. I also will make my kids ask for things with words, my kids can point and I'll know what they want but I'll make them ask for it, my daughter will point at her milk cup and grunt and I'll be like sorry don't understand and make her ask "milk please".

So I just looked up their channel on my phone. When I searched them the bottom number came up. When I went to their channel it went up. At first I assumed that maybe the one just hadn't caught up to the actual amount. So I looked up other channels like Ellie and Jared, Cullen and Katie, and even Jess. It happen to them too, but the number were MUCH lower. Like they were off by a few hundred. So that means Bryan and Missys channel jumped damn near 1000 subscribers very quickly. 1067 to be exact. To me that's incredibly suspicious.

Edit: forgot to attach the pic lol

'i watched it, so you don't have to!' featuring the dailybumps vlog "GETTIN' THE WHEELS DIRTY!" day 700:
starts with missy laying on the couch with a blanket, ollie playing with mega blocks and karma playing with his christmas present.
bryan shows his slippers he got for christmas. he then puts missy's on her, and says "just like cinderella" - her ankle is feeling a lot better.
shot of ollie's playroom and his wubble aka "giant boobie" which bryan has been playing with all day....
ollie throws olaf out of his wagon, climbs in himself.
bryan makes gravy for leftover biscuits and sausage.
ollie has pineapple, eggs and cheese.
ollie plays with his vacuum popping toy while being scared of the weasel with the ball thing.
missy says she's getting ready to film a video, and mentions they forgot to give the dogs their christmas cards on christmas day. karma opens his, which is a super cool and adorable card that's actually a bone.
"petite fours, or is it pet-tits?" says bryan. missy laughs, repeats pet-tits and says something about "speak english". bryan mentions he loves them and his grandma used to have them. he's trying to find a chocolate one so missy can eat it, but she said they look like cake balls and she doesn't really like them so she probably wouldn't like them....
bryan is in his office and he just filmed his christmas haul video. and he basically says he needs to film in the first half of the day if he uses natural light as his light source.
missy's editing her video. bryan says she's doing great, but missy said it puts her in a bad mood because she's so irritating. don't worry missy, by the sounds of it that very same video you edited put everyone in a bad mood because you're so irritating. bryan tells her she has a great personality.
koda and cassie are over to go on a walk to the park. ollie is in his wagon. missy tells bryan to go and play with his son who is on the play equipment. they go down the slide. bryan got hurt in 3 places.
they're back at la casa de lazy. koda is in a deep sleep and bryan worries he might be dead. missy's playing captain toad. bryan makes hot chocolate on their new hot chocolate machine that ellie and jared have.
ollie is playing with his toy phone and bryan asks him to get off it so he can show the card that bryan's sister sent him... they read it. then drink hot chocolate.
ollie is playing on his slide, who is instructed to say bye to momma, because she's off to see a movie [s]with her gay husband.[/s] cassie's babysitting.
they watched into the woods. liked it. movies were crowded. someone was kicking bryan's seat. other people were loud. it's cold, so they're headed home and this is the end of the vlog.

Why do they capitalize all the vlog titles? I really don't get youtubers sometimes.

Honestly, when a child pronounces a word incorrectly, they don't realize it. The kid I nannied for said "fist" for "fish." He was around 4, so the parents would try to correct him, but when he said "fist" he completely thought he was saying the word correctly. He didn't differentiate between us saying "fish" and him saying "fist." If course, Missy and Bryan should pronounce things correctly to not give Ollie intentional bad habits (Like "should of" instead of "should have") but I think some parents give themselves more credit than is warranted when it comes to their kids developments. When Ollie says "A da?" and Bryan or Missy repeat "A da?" Ollie probably has no idea what on earth they are saying, because when he says "A da?" he thinks he is saying "What's that?" So, it probably isn't harming his speech development but it isn't helping.

The kid I talked about above had some pretty serious speech delays, and required therapy all through elementary school. His little sister was a pretty advanced speaker. If a kid is going to be delayed, they're going to be delayed. Ollie seems like a more physical kid, he walked pretty early and seems to be more interested in the more physical milestones, rather than verbal. I know someone earlier said they don't think Ollie has the 20 words that are the milestone for 18 months, but those words don't have to be consistent. If he said "dog" once, it is counted as a word that he has. He is a very communicative child, even without many words. I would be very surprised if he was considered speech delayed at this point, maybe if he didn't improve much by his 2 year visit, but at this point I highly doubt it.

If Missy actually did mommy update videos about Oliver on her channel it would be easier to follow his development and maybe we'd actually know how many words Ollie knows...

Instead we know what Missy got for Christmas :/

I agree. I'd be interested to see where he really is regarding milestones. Maybe after his 18 month appointment. I kind of feel like if the pedi did mention tracking Olivers progress for a possible EI referral, B&M would keep it a secret. They seem really invested in their perfect family.

I can't complain about the What I got for Christmas video though, they're my guilty pleasure.

on the topic of speech, i would not be surprised if ollie (and/or subsequent children) develop lisps. both cassie and missy speak with one... so it's highly possible. or should i say pothible.

Does Oliver even go to check ups with a pediatrician since they have no coverage?

I believe they stopped showing Ollie's appointments and her mom updates because they don't want comments and advice about it. That's all well and good of you didn't get "YouTube famous" by selling your unborn child's privacy. They just pick and choose and only show the less controversial. I noticed they stopped showing appointments after being asked if they vaccinate Ollie. They seem happy to coast on their current level of "fame" so hopefully they are forgotten soon enough.

I never even realized Cassie had a lisp. I guess its just not as apparent as Missy's. LOL. That poor kid - looks like Bryan, speaks like Missy? What hell!

it's a definite lisp. maybe less noticable because we see less of cassie and when we do see her, she actually seems like a cool person who is not annoying. missy is annoying to a lot of people, so her lisp sticks out a lot more. IMO.

i find it interesting that they choose to keep pretty big things hush hush, so they don't lose viewers. like circumcision - i don't think they revealed their stance on that one, but i believe after bryan's comment the other day about baby jesus being 'cut' - he's probably done... but if i remember in a video missy said something that skimmed over it, and it gave me the impression oliver wouldn't be done. so i find that interesting.
but i'm pretty sure they said they do delayed vaccination, didn't they? was there uproar over that?

Yep. Paste some blonde curls on Bryan and you have Ollie. Missy is gonna be so mad when she reads this.

He seems to look like Cassie at times though.
