Ripley's right. The "me" as a direct object has been totally lost because of people not knowing how to use it correctly and trying to sound intellectual. Lucy eades used to say "speaking as of" instead of just "speaking of" and it was so annoying, among other things lol

Same with people who use "whom" instead of "who" to try to sound smart. Like "I love people whom use proper grammar." WRONG. People is the subject of the sentence, so it should be "I love people WHO use proper grammar". It's actually really easy. Use who where you would use he/she, use whom where you would use him/her. But most people don't get it. My coworker always tries to "correct" my proper grammar with incorrect grammar and then makes me feel bad for defending myself. I can't stand people who try to make themselves look intelligent by putting others down.

Her update video is gone? The one where she said she is in nursing school, wants to talk to high school students, get on Ellen. I swear there is something wrong with these girls. Lindsay, Becca and Jessica are so narcissistic. It goes beyond the high school mentality of me, me, me. These are moms, but i can't see them functioning well in adult situations. Like if one of them showed up with their kids at a play group or something, they would not know how to interact with adults.

Oh my god that vlog was sooooooo fucking BOOOORING! I don't know how many times you can tell a person how your weight fluctuated. She went in circles like 4 times.

Also, my mother is a medical assistant, you can work when you're sick....you're just lazy, Lindsey. Hell, you can work in food when you're sick as long as you're not vomiting or have a fever....its gross but it's true.

many offices require you to wear a mask when ill. because it just isnt feasible to stay home every time you have a head cold, etc.

We have the protocol that if you only have slight temp increase and your runny nose isn't dripping everywhere, you go. I have a slight cold and I'm still doing my job training at a dementia unit without complaints. Ofc, if you have noro/other tummybug, it's a no go.

It is different everywhere. I personally don't think she is lying about being sick and sent home. I am an RN and was supervisor at my work so i have seen a lot of this. Our policy was pretty strict.
Off topic, but i was watching youtube videos about government assistance and fraud. Lindsay and her makeup and clothing hauls and her "disabled" mom were the first to come to mind. Of course i don't know they are fraudulently receiving assistance or if they are even receiving assistance. But holy. If you need help to survive, then by all means, there is no shame in receiving assistance. But even if she is receiving it legally, if she can buy a crap ton of MAC makeup and Victoria Secret perfumes and clothing on a whim, then she doesn't need assistance. Talk about Jesus and Christianity all you want Lindsay and Mimi, but actions speak louder than words.
