I just saw her update video. Her nail will grow back. My whole nail came off once & it grew back fine.
And yeah that must have been a old selfie because she said in her video that tomorrow she starts to let it air dry. You would've saw that big purple thing in the picture lol.
Nothing wrong with posting a old photo, but don't play it off like you just worked out. Hahaha

Hopefully the nail should grow back. You never know, if the matrix is damaged enough it screws with growth of the nail and that's how some people have deformed nails, like skin in the middle of the nail.

I can say I won't be watching any further finger updates. Enough, Vaness, really. I think we're all good on the gory details.

It took my daughter's nail 4 months to get back from ripped off completely to it looks like all the other nails. I think when I ripped off my thumb nail it was a little less than that. Ugly as hell at first, but eventually normal again.

Her speech is what seems most behind to me as well as just how she acts in general. It definitely could just be that Lily is very shy and introverted but it just seems like something else may be going on. I do think Lily is smart though.
I agree with a previous poster...I don't believe that Lily sees the amount of doctors and specialists that V claims she does. I think V came out and said Lily sees all these doctors because people were starting to question why Lilys speech wasn't getting any better. And V uses the NICU stay as a fall back. I've known babies to be in the NICU for a year and they don't have the speech delays that Lily does. But, like I said I think V just doesn't want to admit to herself there might be an issue.

I don't know, I just think we don't see enough of her speech to say that there's a delay. I'm not saying that there isn't one either, because I have no clue. I just personally don't see it.
I have seen improvements in her speech. She says more words, and not always prompted by Vanessa. Her pronunciation even improved a bit.

No, because I'm not her speech therapist. So I can't say there's a delay. Only Vanessa and that person would and should know about it. I can say I've noticed improvements in her speech, versus previous vlogs.

I don't know why she left those comments on her instagram, maybe she wants to see if they are the same user and block them, maybe shes saving them for the police. Or maybe she wants to pretend they aren't there. I have seen negative comments about her/her parenting left on her instagram too. Its not just Lily's that stay up. Usually I don't see anything bad though. She's been pretty good at deleting anything negative really.

She's deleted one of my comments before& it wasn't rude at all. I forget what I asked. But she will keep a bunch of f'ed up comments about Lily. I don't get it.

She's gonna milk this finger injury for views. She did "cut off half her finger" after all. That's a big deal. Lol.
I've seen my husbands thumb hanging on by very little from a machete. He can't feel his thumb & part of his hand. Had to go to physical therapy & doctors. She's ridiculous.

That update almost made me puke, it was worse than when she first cut it. Some things do not need to be seen, a simple verbal update would of been fine. My mum cut a chunk off her finger, in pretty much the same spot and way as vanessa, her nail never fell off but it's permanently deformed, it grows on an angle because the top of her finger on one side is missing (if that makes any sense). I suspect vanessas will be similar.

I was wondering about that because both of my thumb nails have developed ridges in the middle of them, they have been growing bumpy for a few months, it doesn't really bother me too much but I wonder why lol. When I was younger I shut my thumb in a sliding van door and the nail fell off but grew back fine.

If you look at her instagram, everyone has been asking to see the finger. Like so many people, it amazes me. I think its gross and I don't look at it, but that's why she keeps showing it. If people would stop asking to see it we would probably never hear about it again lol.

But if she didnt make videos saying "GUIZ,WANNA SEE MY GROSS FINGER??!!" on instagram then people would probably shut up about it.
I mean, my life is not exposed on YT but I wouldnt go on facebook and ask my friends if they want to see my injuries.

Oh she was getting a million comments about it BEFORE that video. I have an addiction to reading instagram comments before I go to sleep so that's how I know. Since she posted that original video of her cutting it people have been curious about it.

Of course she is going to film all Lily's doctors appointments. Didn't we just have a discussion about that..hahaha! Oh Vanessa.

Regarding her question about schooling, I don't see why she doesn't try out public school first.
And who is going to get this second job she's talking about? David or her? If her, whats her first job? YouTube? That's not going to last while Lily is in school.

Also I just want to add that if she goes to public or private, regardless of education quality, she's going to get teased when kids find pictures of her pooping on a potty playing on the iPad, or a video of her standing in her pee drenched pants. I hope Vanessa deletes them when she starts school.

They won't be able to afford private school, unless it is a shitty one. Even with the low income discount some private schools offer, it will be too much for them. Vanessa and David need real jobs before that will happen. Besides, most public schools offer better help for kids with learning disabilities.

I know I'm pretty late on this, but I just started coming on this site again, and I thought that it would be a good place to vent my frustrations. So about a month ago, Vanessa made a video about the "eating disorder" that she had in high school. She talked about restricting to 1200 calories, and I'm not a dietitian, but I don't think that that qualifies as severe calorie restriction. She also said that she took several laxatives daily for over a year. Again, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that that would do severe damage to her digestive system.

She also said that her lowest weight was around 115 pounds and that was "way too skinny". I don't know how tall she is, but she must be pretty tall if that's underweight at all. Now, you definitely don't have to be underweight to have an ED but I think that she was trying to make it seem like she was severely underweight, which she more than likely wasn't.

She then went on to talk about why she decided to stop have a mental illness. She says it was inconvenient to be in the bathroom for as long as she was. But someone who actually has an eating disorder knows that it's inconvenient but they can't fucking stop. I've gone weeks throwing up everything that I eat, I've restricted down to 200 calories, I've fasted for days. These behaviors caused me to lose friends, skip school, and hurt my family. It was all miserable and it ruined my life but I can't stop because you can't just stop having an eating disorder because you don't like it anymore.

She definitely had a problem with crash dieting and suffered from poor body image but that is completely different from having an eating disorder. She's minimizing people who do have eating disorders. People like her are the reason that people tell me that Barbies and Victorias Secret models are the reason that I have this genetic illness. It's very insulting and a complete misrepresentation of those who have real eating disorders.

Way behind but had to comment: PREACH. I've lived with anorexia since 3rd grade and have had more than enough of Vanessa's bs. If what she had was an eating disorder, well, in that case, "I"ll have what she's having!"
