There are a few comments saying Ollie being frozen was "funny." It gave me a sick feeling in my stomach...what have they done to their audience?

To someone who doesn't know any better I'm sure it does look funny. To be honest I didn't know these types of seizures were a thing until it was mentioned today, I'm sure other people didn't know either. It looked odd to me, considering he's so young ( i don't know many kids that age could stay like that for so long). I saw someone in the comments saying it looked like he was playing a game, I can see where they would think that too.

Their first clue it shouldn't have been a game or been funny was when Bryan put down the camera and had very visible/audible worry in his expression, voice, and body language. We give Bryan a lot of (deserved) shit here, but that's the first time in a LONG time I've been impressed with him as a father. (Granted that probably shouldn't have been recorded/left in the vlog but still)

I wasn't impressed, he is such an attention whore. He made sure to sit the camera down SO WE COULD GET HIM IN THE FRAME! He wanted to make sure everyone saw him checking on Ollie.

Hopefully they will seek a medical profession. It's always best to safe then sorry.

He is an attention whore, but if he hadn't recorded and posted it so people could comment do you think they would have gotten it checked? These two are very flippant with health issues and since this wasn't the first time (only the first time people seemed to notice) I doubt they have spent any time before now trying to figure out what was happening. I think even if he did it for the wrong reasons the outcome was worth it since Ollie will be getting seen.

yeah im glad that it was in the vlog because the two of them probably wouldnt have noticed anything wrong with him, just that he was "being weird"

They've been vlogging for almost 2 years now, it would be second nature for him to do that. B & M are idiots sometimes and yes, they're lazy but they do love their child and not every single thing they do is a calculated move to impress their youtube audience.

I simply want to point out that he was frozen but his thumbs were moving. If it was an AS, would he be able to move his thumbs?

I'm simply curious and understand that no one here has a medical background unless stated otherwise... but I'm sure someone knows some information other than what's been posted.

My friend's cousin used to have them and from what I remember they weren't that serious but had the potential to be if they weren't properly assessed and dealt with.

Any type of little repetitive movements during a seizure is typical. It's also typical for for no movement during a seizure too. Plain and simple, it's better to show a doctor and have him give an opinion and to either do nothing about it, or seek out a neurologist and show them the video. I've seen quite a bit of seizures in babies, toddlers, and children. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I started watching them when everyone and their mother in the YT Mom community was ogling for votes for that Circle of Moms contest. I think Missy was around 16 weeks pregnant with Oliver back then...IIRC.

Started watching missy since she was a couple of months pregnant. She was at least 3-4 weeks behind me. I started watching DB maybe a week or two before Ollie was born. I do remember trying to find vlogs that had Bryan in them because I was very interested to see who she was married with. I knew Bryan was annoying the moment he kept saying "with extra guacamole" EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND he would swaddle ollie.

I think I started watching them after the Nulls went and visited them to film videos. I watched almost everyday, but never really went back to watch old videos. The main attraction was Ollie though, I was never really that invested in either B or M, but I guess I could say I liked M more than B.
