The whole vibe of today's vlog was off. I get the feeling that they're actually very worried about Ollie, and were trying to fake nonchalance for the camera.
Jaw clenching can be a nerve issue, as can seizures. I actually am starting to wonder if the two are related now. Hopefully they follow through and get him a thorough evaluation.

And unlike most of the things they fake or lie about, I do think that Missy is actually telling the truth about how nervous she is about ultrasounds and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, I think that they'd milk another loss for everything they could, but I do think that they're a little trepidatious about the appt.
Today's whole vlog just seemed fake. The whole point of daily vlogging is to show the good and the bad. I think that they're legitimately nervous and a bit scared right now, about the doctor appt and about Ollie. But instead of lowering themselves to appear normal and human, they're acting like everything is hunky-dory.
Like, what's the point of opening a window into their daily lives if they're just going to script and fake everything?

Of course Bryan has to tweet that once again she is throwing up on the side of the freeway. I wish missy could be more like her "best friend" Ellie & stop complaining! I loved how Jared called Ellie out and being so great while pregnant and not complaining. Take a hint Missy.

Bryan tweeted a thumbs up and a heart, so I think everything is good! I can breathe now lol. I did get nervous for her.

they addressed the seizure in today's vlog. I'm glad they're looking into it. Again Ollie desperately trying to talk to the baby monitor camera he just sounded like he was clenching his jaw and couldn't sound out the words. They should read more to him :/ Also Ollie singing This Is Home was so cute until Bryan had to go plug it 'Ollie's saying go download This Is Home on iTunes...' like stop Bryan we get it.

he's almost 2 and barely makes out any words...

My youngest didn't speak til she was 2, she went from almost no words to paragraphs literally on her 2nd bday. Kids are different.

Long time lurker... But I was waiting on Bryan's tweet about the apt... It was so basic... I wonder if they do something like that and then title the blog something like "twins?!" Or if there ARE twins they wait until the VLOG to share

Same here! They annoy me, but I only wish the very best of health for their baby. As much as I may dislike someone I would never wish a loss for them. My fingers have been crossed for her all morning

Im glad the baby is good and shes fine as well. I hope they look into Oliver's speech and that frozen thing he did the other day. It worries me.

My son is 15 months and says 3 or 4 words. Doctor said it was ok.

I like that little "white lie" Missy threw in there. When she said Bryan came downstairs and told her about Oliver "freezing" she said she instantly asked her mom, and apparently right away Suzanne knew it was an absent seizure. Although Missy couldn't even pronounce absent correctly. Sure, Missy. Just admit your "minions" came in handy for SOMETHING. Buuuuuull shit Suzanne knew what it was.

These kinds of disorders are genetic. Maybe Suzanne knew about it because someone in the family has experienced something similar before.

I highly doubt that. They just need to appear on top of things before a viewer points it out. He's done this before - why did Suzanne not catch it then? And for someone who already knew about it all, Missy didn't even pronounce it correctly, which leads me to believe she had read it in a comment and that was that.

Bryan and Missy are the people who can't take an type of advice, criticism, or tips. They need to appear as if they know more than we do, at all times.

For the two people that posted about their kid not saying many words before two, I'm assuming they're saying those 3/4 words clear enough for others to understand? Because the only word people can understand is when Ollie says mom, which at his age is not normal. It's obvious he wants to speak, hes just physically incapable and needs attention to fix it.

With 2 stay at home parents Ollie should be at least exposed to a lot of vocabulary and actually be spoken to and not at.

I'm a single mom but I was a SAHM during the day (worked nights when my kid was asleep) and I talked to her a lot. My mom couldn't really understand her but I could. She literally randomly started talking one day. The first thing she said that everyone easily understood was on her 2nd bday. She counted backward from 10 to 1. Never stopped talking since.

yeah i should have phrased it more like that ^ i meant that missy and bryan are stay at home parents and its weird that with all that "attention" from them he never really talks or says much (missy claims she just never gets it on camera lol) other than incoherent mumbles.

Well, we can bet money Suzanne went to the appointment based on the camera angle of B&M and Ollie showing off the ultrasound.

At least Bryan went though. He hardly went to any of her appointments with Ollie though...right? And he certainly didn't go between pregnancies when she had the work done to her uterus (except her surgery).
