Why wouldn't you wear a seat belt in the back? If theres an accident and the car flips, do you think you'll magically stay in your seat and be fine since you're ~*in the back?*~

Like I said, I never ride in the back so I never thought about it.cats-or-die wrote:Why wouldn't you wear a seat belt in the back? If theres an accident and the car flips, do you think you'll magically stay in your seat and be fine since you're ~*in the back?*~

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
There actually are studies now indicating that increased Ultrasound use MAY be causing some issues. Correlation does not equal Causation, genetic predisposition more than likely plays a role, etc etc, but this is a quote from one article I found on the subject.blackbettybamf wrote:Eh I had an u/s every 2 wks AT LEAST during my first pregnancy because I had HG and suspected placenta previa (which ended up not being the case but it was close! Ended up with a c section anyway though) so I don't buy into the u/s can be dangerous crap.
I don't think for a minute that 2-3 routine ultrasounds would ever cause a problem. But with some women getting anywhere between 10-20 ultrasounds during their pregnancies, I can see the link there.Matching Timelines. In 1992, without testing for safety the FDA increased the allowable intensity of prenatal ultrasound 8-fold to improve images.23 Autism rates have risen dramatically since that time. Today, it affects 1 in 88 U.S. children, and 1 in 54 U.S. boys.40 Prenatal ultrasound was once a rare medical procedure, reserved for women with high-risk pregnancies. Prenatal ultrasound is now routine for most pregnant women in developed countries. CDC reports rate of autism in 8-year-olds rose 80% in the six-year period between 2002 and 2008. The number of ultrasounds per U.S. pregnancy rose approximately 73% between the years matching the gestation times of these age groups, 1993 and 1999.29 Every year, more women have prenatal ultrasounds and have them earlier more often during a pregnancy.29 Now, the ultrasound vaginal probe, which places the acoustic beam closer to the embryo is in common use. The children of obese mothers have a higher rate of autism.41 Their abdominal fat layer often requires more of the scans to be done with the probe.42 The prevalence of autism and other neurological developmental issues continues to rise especially among the affluent.57

It actually turned out that I was one of those people and ultrasounds were contributing to my 1st Tri losses.Theirmom wrote:There actually are studies now indicating that increased Ultrasound use MAY be causing some issues. 1st pregnancy- no 1st Tri U/S, no problems.
Pregnancy 2,3,4 - Dating U/S @7 or 8 weeks, healthy fetus with strong hb. In each case, baby stopped developing right after. Doc suspected that the U/S was overheating babies cells due to my bodies chemistry/makeup.
5th pregnancy- no first Tri U/S- healthy baby boy.
The studies don't say they are harmful in all cases, they say they CAN be. In my case, it certainly looked as if they were.
There isn't a need to have multiple u/s for a healthy pregnancy anyway. In Canada, you generally get one at 18weeks and that's it (unless you have further problems or aren't sure of your dates).
If you've had multiple scans and all was fine, then great! But if the sonography the believes there are risks, then I tend to think she would be current with studies and would know.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
My daughter had the same anterior placenta. When I was pregnant I only felt her a hand full of times. Doc was no wonder you couldn't feel your baby, your placenta thick and huge. I very time they ask me did you feel your baby I would say no, Doppler was the only that gave peace of mind. Is that more common with girl than boys, c&k and momma natural girls had it too?aduke89 wrote:Tbh with my second, we couldn't get a heartbeat on the Doppler Til almost 17 wks. I was about 20 lbs overweight plus I had an anterior placenta and my daughter was just NOT HAVING IT lol
In Korea they give me a U/s very appt and I loved it. My thing with u/s is OB appt are to tell me about the baby, how can they do that without seeing or hear it.

I had an anterior placenta with my son, they never even told me until I brought up how I had never felt him 15 times in a hour let alone the whole pregnancy

It's even more clear the Nulls are over them. If they were friends I'm sure Britt would be super excited about them being due so close together. Instead I bet you she's pissed. Poor Britt. I hope she has a girl and Missy has a boy.

I know. She kept saying "we" as if she's a rep now. Bet she's going to start selling doTerra to the minions.celticrain13 wrote:Anyone see missys new doterra video on her page? Her channel seems so all over the place. It's funny how she's switched back to baby stuff now that she's pregnant again. She was still a mom before!

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Missy is just dumb I'm sorry. I rather get in contact with her friend that knows more. It took her over a week to upload that video. She doesn't do anything.. it's not like she has a part time job on the sideHelloSweetie1 wrote:I know. She kept saying "we" as if she's a rep now. Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Oh but they are all super busy. Did you see in today's vlog B stayed home to work (nap). He said he has been working too much. My guess is that's because Jared obviously works very hard and he wants to fit in. That, or they are so lazy now that they have no concept of hard work.
Did you catch Bryan call himself an entrepreneur? Have we ever heard him say that before Twitter yesterday? In the Nulls vlog yesterday Austin talked about being an Entrepreneur.... looks like Bry Bry learned a new word!
Oh and he was up early... Yeah, sure. The clock on the stove when he was cooking said 9:45 and he looked like shit. He maybe got up at 9.
And boo hoo them and their cold pool.
For having named their dog Karma, they sure don't believe in it. These two have become so delusional I keep thinking like is going to "bite them in the ass" to teach them perspective. I don't want to wish ill on them, but that's how things sometimes work in life. I always try to appreciate what we have because of it.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
How on earth is Bryan an entrepreneur? I think he needs to look up the definition of that word.
And on what planet is your kid waking up at 9 early?
Are they ever going to move Oliver to 1 nap a day? I've never known a kid that old to still be on 2 naps a day.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Ummmm I'm sure they never changed their clock stove so it's probably actually 10:46 am and MISSYS asleep and Bryan barely woke up. So missy needs a nap and bryan stays home while they go to the water park?

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Missy addressed this in the comments on the vlog last week where she was bitching about him staying up longer. Apparently she always says 1st nap, but he really just has the one. (Yeah, right!).smellycat801 wrote:How on earth is Bryan an entrepreneur? I think he needs to look up the definition of that word.

Lots of her mommy minions actually suggested he might no longer need a morning nap and she got defensive, naturally.
