I only ended up taking it because I wasn't keeping anything down at all (even with zofran I'm not) and lost 10kg.
Every pregnant person has to weigh up the consequences of what their taking and if its worth any risks. A lot of meds especially don't have a lot if information on them because people don't like being guinea pigs in pregnancy. So she might be trying to avoid drugs. But I don't follow her so I don't really know.
