YOU GUYS! WE ARE RAISING LILY! Not literally, of course, but holy mother effing shit! Swim lessons?!? Quite the original idea, V! WINK WINK. Vanessa has NO shame in her game. It is truly unbelievable to me how EVERY SINGLE TIME something is mentioned here, it pops up in her next video! I know we've all said it before, but this time it really just slapped me in the face and I can't get over how weird it is! In a way! I feel like we are actually doing GOOD! Because of this site, Vanessa got more serious about doctors and therapists, lily started an activity, lily learned how to eat on her own, she might start swim lessons, she has less iPad time, she has less frozen time, she's being encouraged to interact with other kids, Vanessa actually played with her on the floor one time, etc. I'd like to know if any of you can remember anything else she's done because of what was written on here. I SWEAR, VANESSA IS A VOODOO DOLL! Except instead of stabbing the doll/causing the doll physical pain, we get the doll to be a better mom! It's unreal! It surprises me every single time because if I were Vanessa, I wouldn't want it to be obvious that I was reading ytmd and taking notes. But NOPE! She doesn't seem to care (which is fine by me). It's good and bad. It's good because Vanessa is doing more things that she should be doing, but on the other hand, IT'S ALL FOR SHOW! Yes, right after it was mentioned here, Vanessa posted a video of her playing pretend games with lily on the floor, but I bet $100 she did it the one time to get footage and hasn't done it since. I believe that Vanessa needs ACTUAL professional help. I'm not saying that in a negative way, or to be mean, or to say she is horribly insane (we all have our issues, right?). However, I truly believe she has a pretty severe self-esteem issue. She is so incredibly fake all of the time. She does this weird fake laugh alllll the time which I wish you guys knew what I was talking about. She's uncomfortable being who she really is and devotes every waking moment to trying to be someone else. The worst part about it is that lily will never be witness to a normal mother. Can you imagine if your own mother was trying to appear perfect all of the time? Can you imagine what that would do to a child? She's just not real. A lot of the reason I like watching Vanessa is for that exact reason. I find it entertaining. But it's really going to fuck lily up.

I personally think she does things just for show. It's incredible to see the dynamic between her ACTUAL parenting and laziness and her constant stalking of this board and the day after doing exactly whats been told here. I can see right through her and feel that a lot of what she does are forced. There are many times where we said that she needed to stop talking to Lily like a baby and on the next vlog, she talks to her like she's a human...but after that it fades away and she continues to talk to her like she's a dog which is why I continue to believe that her parenting style is not really her but what she reads from here.

This is why I don't like watching her because I personally hate try hard/fakish people. It doesn't seem organic to me. She DOES copy Britney and we all know that which is why it's not hard to believe and is expected that she will constantly copy all our suggestions and apply it to her VIDEOS but then probably doesn't continue after a couple days hence, the baby talk example. She works harder on her videos than on her own child.

If you watch her older videos when Lily was younger then you can see how she really is. She kept calling her DUDE and scolding her for no reason and kept saying NO all the time. She also wasnt the nurturing, loving type to her so when I do watch clips of her vids where she's hugging up Lily and calling her KAAAYUUTE; i cant help but roll my eyes

Funny that you mention this because last night, I started watching the vlogs of Lily in the NICU. Vanessa's attitude seemed very immature and annoyed that Lily was in the NICU. Here's the vlog
I know she must of been very stressed out at the time, but there was something about this vlog (and the ones after it) that made me dislike her a little more.

I disagree, she always seemed lovey and nurturing with Lily. Seems like she genuinely likes being around her kid too. Even Brittany acts annoyed by Aria sometimes lol

-She complains about getting no sleep (I get the impression she was not at all prepared for the reality a baby)
-Admits lily is struggling with the formula, but pumping was just too inconvenient for her (her exact words "it was too much for me")...
-She says more than once what hell she's going through, but it's the way she says it.. She comes across so annoyed!

I've always pronounced it and heard it spelled out like n-i-c-u and only very recently did I start hearing people pronounce it nick-you.

Oh really?? I've never heard it spelled out. It makes sense since the ICU is pronounced spelled out. I've also only heard the pediatric intensive care unit as the "pick-you" lol

You know, this is when I got fed up with her. I followed her through her whole pregnancy, because we pregnant right around the same time and we were both right around the same age, only difference was, I was married and in a stable relationship. I had my son at 35 weeks in January, before she had lily. And then when she did have lily prematurely I was really turned off with how she acted with lily. I spent hours with my son in the nicu, pumped every two hours and didn't see it as an inconvenience. Then when she made the video about gurugossiper, I found you all. But I was very shocked by how she handled things with lily.

I watched her because we both are young and had sick children but while tuning in with her journey, I got so irritated with her constant wining and "my mom is gonna do this and that with Lily" and her STILL complaining. Like gosh, my daughter was incredibly sick, it IS stressful and you cant help but go nuts but she had it great compared to others with her situation and her laziness to breast feed was a disappointment when she said it was too much. At least lie and say you're dried out. I was like come on V, your child survived be happy and positive -_-

Vanessa seemed very short tempered to me. She would get incredibly annoyed when anyone told her anything bc she was lily's moms and she knew best. Her mom babysat for her very often in the mornings and on weekends so that Vanessa could rest (hopefully chill out) and go out on dates with David but she would still have a bad attitude. She seems to have calmed down some, but she seemed very aggressive and defensive up until she moved out. I know she was stressed out and overwhelmed but yeesh talk about turning on those that try to help you..
V was sooo immature in that video. Glad to see she's grown up since then. Her eyes remind me of taylertragedy's crazy eyes lol

Ive never watched those videos, its really hard for me because i was a sick baby with a young mom. When i think about that time i get really emotional not because i feel sorry for myself but because i know what my mom went through and i feel totally responsible for putting her through that! And she has never used the words "what you put me through" she's said what WE went through.
So hearing and seeing a mom say those things. And put them out there for her daughter to find one day. . . Serisouly! What is her problem, she's more worried that she didn't sleep then she is about her baby being sick!? She acts like its something lily has done to HER... she knew before lily was born that there would most likely be complications that they would be in the hospital. She had to be somewhat prepared...
I hope Lily never sees that. SHE didn't put her mom through hell... i cant even imagine if actually heard my mom say those things.
