and my 16 month old knows the difference between yes and no and will nod/shake his head and say uh-huh or nuh-uh in the right context as to say "yes" or "no". If he doesn't understand yes or no, then it's their fault for not teaching him.
I don't think his language skills are improving, poor thing is babbling so much more, it's very clear he desperately WANTS to talk, but isn't given the tools.
And I balked at Bryan's suggestion of a maid... Joking or not.... How LAZY and wasteful.
