Okay. I understand it was a nice thing what she did. But holding it up to her face, letting Oliver touch it... Was just wrong.

Also, I'm not expert, but if it fell in their pool, and it's a baby, it's family it probably somewhere around their house and they just got up and dumped it God knows how far away from its family...

Thoughts on the vlogs.

1) I couldn't even finish the 10 week bump update.....shoot me now, it was so boring. Glad she's turned a curve though and feeling better because that brings me into #2.

2) It was so nice to not have to hear Missy complain about being sick.

3) She's with mimi AGAIN

4) That shirt needs to go in the trash with the rest of the other shirts that have the shoulders cut out.

5) Do you want to build a snowman....dude sounds like he's singing through his nose.

6) Was Bryan trying to be "southern" when he said crick? (I'm from the south and I actually grew up calling it a creek)

7) Ollie is trying to talk but he's not moving his lips. Work with the kid people.

The bunny was cute though. Glad she dried it off.

LOL It won't kill any of them. My god. Growing up, my mom and I rescued all types of wild animals. Wash your hands and face and everything is dandy.
It doesn't even look like a baby once dried. Wild bunnies are smaller than domesticated ones.

I spent the first few minutes trying to decide if they staged the bunny rescue. I decided they didn't when they let it go. I do think handling it so much probably caused a lot of unnecessary stress on the little guy.

I thought it was ignorant of her TBH. She is so arrogant, she never thinks to consult with professionals.

Yes the baby bunny was cute. Of course she saved it, I'm not questioning that.... but it could have still needed its mama, touching it so much with her hands could have ill effects and make it vulnerable out in the wild, etc.... that's nice they set it free on a farm, but the thought that there won't be predators there just shows how stupid BM are. They should have scooped it out with a net, and called a wildlife rescue for guidance.

Plus I can't believe she was letting Ollie touch it.... those two really just don't think at all!

There was a comment that made me laugh though... One of the minion said "your vlogs are too short!" Maybe it was Cullen? Lol.

It's a myth that touching a baby animal could lead the mother to reject it.
C'mon. It's a baby bunny, not some exotic creature. Had she called a wildlife rescue about a bunny that was fine, they more than likely would have told her to just let it go.

Sorry, not where I live. I don't know how it works in Cali, but I do know how it works here in Canada where we have loads of wildlife and forests.

You find an animal you contact a rescue to ask their advice. You do not release an animal into a different location. Let it go where you found it if nothing else! What's the harm in consulting a group that might know better? If they wanted it relocated, then they probably have a good idea of where to do it. If they told her to leave it then fine. Missy doesn't know the proper thing to do in all cases, sorry.

Call my answer nitpicky or whatever if you like, but I've rescued animals before (bats, baby squirrel, crows etc), and know that I've done the best I can do for them by consulting with professionals that are trained to deal with them. Missy didn't even go to Dr. Google, because iceberg lettuce actually makes bunnies sick because of the high water content.

I'm an animal lover, and ignorance like that just bugs me.

Nah. Rabbits wean really early, and they don't live in family units. If you see a bunny on it's own, it's ready to be on it's own.

And as long as she washed her/Oliver's hands when they were done, who cares if she touched it? It's wild, not exotic. More than likely, the worst thing it could have is fleas. Anything more serious would have killed it quickly or been very evident. It's older rabbits where you have to worry about worms and rabies and such.

I don't give a rat's fart about the DailyLumps, but this is nitpicking. If it were anyone else, I don't think it'd even be worth a side eye.

It sounds like you had experience rescuing animals though, so you knew what you were doing. You were probably also releasing them back into the same environment.

I wouldn't be as annoyed if she hadn't relocated gre little fella from his home and possibly mother. Sorry, but he's probably fox or eagle food because they've taken him from a city environment to a rural one.

Unless an animal is visibly injured, Animal Rescue is unnecessary. Added to that, they won't do anything other than tell you to put it in an open box to recover and set it outside to leave on their own. (It's true about releasing it in the same location though. Even Animal control has to release nuisance animals on the same property)

It's fine and dandy if you want to contact animal control every single time you come into contact with a common animal, but normal people would have done what Missy did: dry it off, let it get comfortable, set it free. It's just a rabbit. LOL.

She had a box set up for it. She should have cut a hole in the side and let it go when it was ready. She wanted a grand release for their special vlog. Sorry, not sorry.

Im no fan of Missy, but what she did was a good, honest thing. There is nothing wrong with exposing your child to wildlife! I believe everyone deserves credit when earned, and in this case, Missy earned it. She did a good thing and that's that.

I'm glad she helped the bunny. I would expect everyone to do the same... but I know that's probably not the case.

Im glad they helped the bunny, I would have done the same. However I prob wouldn't have put the bunny in my childs face. I can't wait till Oliver is older in more the 2s phase to see how they handle him, because right now they let him climb on tables and chairs and let him do whatever.

They won't do anything. And if he gets particularly troublesome it's for lack of attention, but they'll just blame it on the "terrible twos"
