Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
Bryan's skydiving remark about the wind tunnel being harder is like Missy's stupid single parent comment.
My husband used to skydive every weekend. He had 70+ jumps in when our son was born, and then he stopped because it wasn't fun with the potential risk. The wind tunnel is probably harder because you have to stay in a small area, but you have ZERO RISK, and the thrill is much different.
I would let my 7 year old do a WT, but I would never let him skydive!
Btw, Bryan Tweeted a pic yesterday morning saying they watch a Disney movie and cuddle every morning (prob while Princess sleeps in or does her makeup). They put Frozen on for Ollie, so he would have watched 2 movies yesterday! That's a ton of zombie time for the little dudes developing brain... and he lives in. California!
Missy could have taken him for ice cream, he could have watched Uncle and Daddy, and then they could have done something fun for him. Missy always thinks of herself and not her child.
Yay for whoever here is the poster commenting about this on their vid!

Theres a difference between putting your spouse 1st and acting like he doesnt exsist. I agree husband 1st but these people take it to the max.

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
I don't get the saying love your husband more than your kids cause they'll just leave you. Maybe it's just the wording but it just seems wrong. Because if you think about it, anyone you love can leave. You decided to bring these children into this world they deserve the most of your love. I definitely think you should still make sure you have date nights and just one on one time with your husband. But I 100% think children should be more loved than your spouse, at least in their early years when they're still very dependent on you.
Just the opinion of an internet stranger. Don't take anything personally, for your own sake as well as mine.

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
I respectfully disagree. With two small children Sex isn't exactly what should be most important. I don't even miss it most of the time because I'm exhausted. And why should I leave my husband when I truly love him?OhHiImSam wrote:I mean, that's something that should be fixed in every marriage/relationship.for_the_wolf wrote:I never thought I'd sympathize with Missy one day but I kind of know how she feels about Bryan touching her. I'm married to a wonderful man, who I admire and love more than ever. But I'm absolutely not physically attracted to him anymore. I feel terrible about it but I have a really hard time getting intimate with him because he put on quite a few pounds over the last 2 years. I may sound like a superficial bitch but I can't help it. Of course I would never ever consider leaving him, because I do love him so much and I feel like his personality is way way more important than his looks. It's a tough place Missy is in...
But then again this is no excuse for being the immature self-centered crybaby she is
People need to stop pretending that sex isn't that important in a romantic relationships and it's all about how you "emotionally" connect with someone, because sex should honestly be one of the most important things. If you guys aren't sexually compatible you need to fix it or find someone you are sexually compatible with.
However I do think it should be fixed in the long run. But mainly because of his health.
Anyway....back to Bryan and Missy

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
I don't think of it in terms of loving one more than the other. It's a different kind of love. Without the stability of a strong marriage relationship it's impossible to survive the storms of life. I also believe love can ebb and flow over the years and at times you will be more attracted to your spouse than other times. And while I believe you should love your children unconditionally and be fully invested in their upbringing you can't make them your whole life because they do grow up and leave at some point.spacekitty wrote:I think Shay and Colette make a good point to love your partner more because your children will leave and they won't. But that's a debate with B&M

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
I see it as dont focus ALL of your attention on your children and never leave room for your husband because when they leave for college, move out etc etc you will have lost anything you had with your husband because he was pushed aside. It would feel like living with a roomate almost.Deadhead_kay wrote:I don't get the saying love your husband more than your kids cause they'll just leave you. And the same goes for him. Dont stop taking your wife on dates or making her feel special just because you have kids now. Always keep the connection strong.

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
They're so boring... Ugghhh but I do think they go out without Ollie way too often. It's what 1-2x a week!?!
I have 3 kids and my husband and I go out maybe 1-2x a year!!!!
There's a thread on today's vlog replying to someone who said they leave him with Mimi too much, and some minion admitted they are 12yrs old....and defended them leaving him because sometimes "he's hard to handle"..... It's one child! And Ollie is actually a really well behaved, I think!

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
He doesn't seem hard to handle now, but if this keeps up he will be. Adding a second child is going to rock his world, and he isn't going to want to share what little attention he gets. Not to mention, the baby will get to go everywhere B&M do because breastfeeding, but poor Ollie will continue to get ditched.Coloradomom331 wrote:They're so boring... My SIL made this same mistake with my nephew. She needed tons of breaks so he'd go stay at my in-laws every weekend. He is now a teen and has no respect for his mom so now he's even more difficult and she never learned how to handle it.

I am having fun on your comment thread lol B&M blocked me off YT but its still fun to br able to argue in their comment section and them not even know it.
Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
I've noticed that B&M never show Oliver having a Temper tantrum or him crying. Like I can't remember a vlog where Oliver didn't get his way and cried. It's normal for kids to do that. I wonder why Missy and Bryan don't show it? Or maybe Oliver is just an amazing toddler

I can see tantrums coming soon because I imagine if he doesn't talk soon he's gonna get angry about it. Somewhat like how Helen Keller grew up very angry over the fact she couldn't see or hear anything.

Re: DailySameButDifferent Part 21
In my personal opinion there are way too many inappropriate YouTube videos out there...why do people let their children make their own accounts and watch whatever the heck they want to? My friend's 11 year old daughter was caught watching a "How to Kiss a Boy" video once.HelloSweetie1 wrote:Crazy! Unfortunately I really don't think they care. They know a large portion of their fans are adolescents , and they still tried to make a sexy music video; make inappropriate, uninformed, rude or ignorant comments; talk TTC in excess, etc.killerqueeen wrote:I don't really comment here but I have to share this. My eldest niece (13) had been watching DB, and she was obsessed, fan instagram, etc. Last week my husband found out through his sister that our niece was trying to find her very own 'Bryan' so she can start ttc when she's 16! To say the least she's grounded and her IG has been shut down when her Mother found out. Missy and Bryan really need too think what they're putting online and too what audience.
They feed off the praise and attention the minions give them and sadly don't feel compelled to give much back in return. I think your niece trying to find a Bryan would almost be cute to them and they'd think it was flattering rather than alarming.
I bet she's not the only one.

I won't ever be making my kids a YouTube account. What's the point? If they absolutely have to watch something they can just use my account until they're adults, then they can make an account themselves. After all, that's what I did. Not trying to be rude, but that's my opinion.
