I don't understand why Vanessa tries to eat all healthy and says she has this great diet and whatever and then she does things like boiling chicken and veggies. I don't know 100% about chicken being boiled because its disgusting but boiling veggies takes every single % of nutritional value it may have, considering she mainly uses frozen veggies and fruit. If you want something 100% nutritional and the best of the best but it fresh and steam it! Even in her frozen yogurt video she uses frozen strawberries, I don't understand why people think that just because it's a vegetable or fruit that its good for you. If it has added chemicals and is frozen for over a year what makes you think its still good for you? Buy fresh and get the real nutritional value. So many people do this and its so annoying!

This. And steamed vegetables taste so much better. Chicken is better if you bake it in the oven, it holds the moisture really well (unless you over cook it of course). Plus then you can add more flavour to it, boiled chicken has zero flavour.
Frozen fruit I don't really have an Issue with, especially when you're making a frozen treat. It's better than ice cream any day. I use frozen fruit for smoothies because it tastes better and makes them creamier and colder. But to snack on I eat fresh fruit.

I think vanessa trying to eat healthy and exercise is really great, but she should definitely do some research and learn about what she's talking about in her videos because she has a lot of young naive girls watching her who think what she says is true.

I love steamed veggies so much! My biggest problem with frozen fruits is that Vanessa and people in my personal life think they're sooo good for you when NOTHING compares to fresh. If she/they didn't make a huge nutritional clam I wouldn't have an issue. Boiling veggies is another story, though.

Haha me too!! I don't think there has been anyone of color in my family tree... I'm half german and half Irish And have kids with a full Irish and a half Irish half Scottish guy lol.

My sister broke the cycle though, her daughter is biracial, super white mixed with black and that girl is freaking stunning. I'm so jealous of my 15 year old niece it isn't even funny lol she's drop dead gorgeous.

Sorry, excuse me while I roll my eyes. I'm biracial and I hear stuff like this all the time. White people are so obsessed with mixed kids and it's very annoying. We don't all look alike, you know. There's no "correct" way for biracial kids to look, and some of us are extra cute and some of us aren't.

I seriously don't understand the obsession white people have with mixed babies.

Because you're overgeneralising an entire group of people, and you're also acting like mixed kids are some rare, exotic entity instead of people. You may think it's a compliment, but it's not.

I'm mixed as well (moms white, dads black) and I see where you're coming from but it isn't just "white people" and I wouldn't even call it an obsession either, it's people admiring that -most of the time- racially diverse children are really cute. I take it as a compliment dang haha

Aesthetically pleasing features? We don't all have the same features, yo. And I don't want to start a fight about it, but you really shouldn't tell me I'm overreacting. I experience microagressions everyday and it's still annoying.
