Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
I compiled a list of my favorite parts from the new vlog entitled: "HONEST FEELINGS ABOUT GENDER!"
• "It just doesn't feel like a pregnant belly. My uterus is getting bigger and its pushing out all that like, flub, that was leftover from Oliver."
Uh, no Missy. That's just your flub. I'm sure being pregnant has contributed a tad, but LOL no.
• "I think I'm still getting a lot of exhaustion from pregnancy."
So, what was the excuse when you weren't pregnant...?
Shocker, she brought up her baby being healthy and how thats the number one thing. Sure, Missy. How long did you read this forum last night?
Love that she's trying to justify having a boy by saying "two boys will get along better than a girl and boy!" *biggest side eye ever*
Basically she then blamed all the minions saying she would have a girl for getting her hopes up. Because ten year olds are professional baby gender guessers. HAH.
Oh, and shocker, going in for a confirmation and "you never know! Right now it's boy! We're not going to buy clothes yet!"

Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
If she was this different you'd think her mom would be more concerned. Honestly, she seems like her mom. High standards, know it all, and anti-social. It didn't get bad until they moved out. I'm not sold its depression, but instead her marriage/life/kid not being perfect enough.Theirmom wrote:heilst wrote:I started watching some of their old, old vlogs again and I have to say, I see a lot of myself in Missy. She used to be so bubbly and outgoing. Then she had Ollie and she just seems increasingly disinterested, tired and lazy. Which is exactly what happened to me when I had my son. I was eventually diagnosed with depression and got on meds which really helped. I feel like Missy might be suffering from depression and she's dragging Bryan down with her.
THIS! All of it. I had SEVERE postpartum depression with my first, and left it untreated. It dragged the whole household down. With my second, I got treated when she was about 5 months old, and it was a world of difference. I got it VERY bad after by third, and got treated within 3 days of the symptoms starting.
If Bryan and Missy really do lurk on here, I hope they see and take this post seriously. GET TREATED. Your whole world will change. And yes, there are anti-depressants that are safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding.

But HE'S not keeping her at arms length... Missy is. You're projecting.Theirmom wrote:I respectfully WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree with this.oh4thelawls wrote:I hate how Missy treats Bryan's mom. It's like Missy feels she's above her because she doesn't come from a broken home and is abnormally close with her mom. I have a similar family life. I am the only child to my parents who have been together since they were in their early 20's. My father worked very very hard to provide for me and my mom despite being legally blind. They have given me so much my whole life and I am so grateful to have such supportive parents. I am very close to both of my parents and I talk to them about almost everything. However, my boyfriend comes from a very broken home. His mom had him when she was 16 and the biological father isn't in the picture. His mom met a man and they got married and he adopted my boyfriend but treated him like shit. His mom is on her 3rd marriage. But I would never in a million years look down on her. Hell I have mad respect for her. No mother is perfect, not even mine. Missy needs to understand that some people aren't blessed with parents that have a happy marriage and give them whatever they want. Yes, Bryan's mom chose her boyfriend over Bryan, which is a shitty thing to do, but that doesn't mean Missy should feel like she's superior and purposely keep Ollie away from his grandma. Missy needs to get the stick out of her ass and realize that moms aren't perfect. And she should take a long hard look in the mirror because she needs to realize that she's doing the bare minimum for her son.
Missy should take all her cues from Bryan about how to treat his mother.
She abandoned him. If he chooses to keep her at arms length, then Missy should absolutely follow suit.
Now, if he wanted a closer relationship, Missy shouldn't stand in the way of that either.
No, Moms aren't perfect. But you don't have to be perfect to understand that you don't choose your umpteenth boyfriend over your own child. Pretty sure that's just doing the bare minimum.
Also, being a grandparent is a privilege, not a right. If she hasn't earned her privilege by fostering a good relationship with both parents (which we really have no way of knowing either way), then she doesn't get to be a grandparent outside of the perimeters B&M set.
If you can't be bothered to have a healthy relationship with me, you don't get to have a relationship with my kids. End of story.
The abandonment story is also Bryan's.... They are known for dramatizing things. It isn't possible he was just a teenager that wanted to live with the fun. Hollisters?
You can't use the moving out as an ax ample necessarily. I had no single mom, the best grandparents ever, but when I was 18 I met a guy, got into an abusive/controlling relationship and I would have moved out and said then that my family was awful. I got out of that cycle and I to a healthy relationship... Maybe Bryan didn't?

At least get evaluated. At least for me, it happened gradually over time and I didn't really realize it because it became my "normal". It took my fiance nearly leaving and my son completely going off the rails for me to realize something was really wrong. It can destroy your life without you even realizing it an I do feel for her if that's what's going on.Theirmom wrote:heilst wrote:I started watching some of their old, old vlogs again and I have to say, I see a lot of myself in Missy. Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
Only Missy could be narcissistic enough to actually make things worse while trying to "explain" her gender feelings. So glad to see she's still hoping for a girl... that's healthy!

The minions are still trying to convince Missy that the baby could be a girl and that it could be too early. LOLOLOLOL the delusion is real.

Missy is the only person that would say "OMG IM SOOO HAPPY THAT WERE ABLE TO HAVE A BABY, BUT IM STILL HOPING FOR A GIRL!"
Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
Should I leave a comment on how Missy is selfish? I'm really thinking about putting Melissa in her place.

she's serving some michelle duggar crazy eyes in that one. her badly hidden disappointment reminds me of the time when michelle got a makeover and lost her mullet and she had to keep sweet even though she clearly hated it "it looks like my hair when i get out of the shower!"jesswhytho wrote:couldn't help but grab some screenshots of Missy after the reveal.

Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
it did start when they moved out because she knew she wouldn't have her mommy to do everything for her anymore. notice how happy she is when she's with her mother? yeah.HelloSweetie1 wrote:If she was this different you'd think her mom would be more concerned. Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
No ultrasound place I've ever seen does gender determinations at 13 weeks and then confirm at 15. Missy lied about her dates to get the 1st appt. now she doesn't like the results so she's just going to pay and go again at 15 weeks, instead of wait until the anatomy scan for the same impatient and selfish reasons she had the bloody scan at 13 weeks. She's fucking nuts if you ask me!

Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
Not projecting. I actually had a very vanilla "typical" upbringing.HelloSweetie1 wrote: But HE'S not keeping her at arms length... Missy is. You're projecting.
I actually think the problem here is that a lot of people on this forum are projecting their good relationships with their parents onto how they think Bryan & Missy should act towards his mother.
Of course, that's entirely possible. But if it did happen the way he described, and she really didn't step in when her boyfriend picked fights with her kid, and she really did just let her kid move out rather than ending a relationship, then she's a shitty parent. And it's completely understandable that he wouldn't want more than just a casual and civil relationship with her.The abandonment story is also Bryan's.... They are known for dramatizing things.
Obviously we don't know all the details. But if the information Bryan has shared is true, then she's lucky to have ANY relationship with her son and grandson.
Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
Hello! Long time lurker over here...i just couldn't hold it in any longer. I have to say these 2 make me so mad! I truly don't understand their way of thinking. Just saw their latest vlog and yes, Missy addressed the fact that she is happy that the baby is healthy and that she is "excited" (yeah right)...What i don't understand is, if they thought there was the slightest chance that this baby could be another boy, they weren't going to be satisfied and would want another ultrasound to "confirm" (which is exactly what they are going to do). Why not just be a little patient and wait until a little longer to get a more accurate ultrasound, and not have to put this baby through so many unnecessary ultrasounds!!! And Missy, just be "truly" happy and blessed that you have another healthy little boy and move on!!!! I just feel bad for this baby because there is absolutely NO excitement at ALL from his mom. How will that make him feel when he finds out that even after the ultrasound saying it was a boy, mommy STILL had hopes that it was a girl!!!

Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
Did she really say all the "flub" is leftover from her pregnancy with ollie?? I remember her saying in a early post partum vid that shes almost down to pre pregnancy weight. Stop being in denial, missy, the fat is from your bad eating habits. I suppose bryans fat is from the pregnancy too?? These people are so oblivious.

Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
Who gets a gender ultrasound at 13 weeks? What if GOD FORBID she loses this baby for some reason? It's still early in the pregnancy. How is she gonna feel about her longing for her baby girl then? Although I hope and pray for her to have a great pregnancy with no complications don't get me wrong. Just a thought.

I'm sick and bored and ended up watching their old vlogs. They were so different then.. I remembered why I used to like them. It made me kinda sad..
Re: DailyDoppler Part 23
So off topic and I'm really sorry. But is there like a question thread? I accidentally left spaghetti in a crock pot all night and I'm wondering if it's still good. Sorry again that this off topic.
