I do! I can not stand to see bare hands touching other's foods. I rarely, if ever, eat any food that I have not seen prepared with my own eyes. I just can not deal.Ambrosia wrote:Does anyone else use gloves when mixing food with their hands?! It grosses me out to see people mix food with their bare hands.

She is so desperate with all these sponsored videos, shouldn't she be focusing on other things like getting a real education instead of worrying about sponsors?

I have a feeling one of these sponsored videos will be about the Honest company diapers. She said she was going to do a review on them, but that was months ago. She was probably waiting for them to sponsor her first, hahaha.

You think she would try to be natural in her sponsor videos. She tries so hard it's pathetic and fake

Oh gosh, I can not stand it either because some people dont wash their hands properly. It makes me cringe even more when people dont take their jewelry off or have long nails. Britneyandbaby Part 8
The sponsored videos are so annoying half the time she hasn't even used the product longer than a day before making the video.

Re: Britneyandbaby Part 8
That mascara video had to be one of the worst reviews I saw. Starters, that shit was clumpy and terrible and NO ONE should aspire that look. I hate when people say maybe she likes them clumpy, no, just no. It looks rediculously terrible. Britney likes free shit so I'm not suprised she's doing sponsor videos.
In the name of the moon, I shall gossip about you.
Re: Britneyandbaby Part 8
My husband always says I have a problem feels good to know I'm not the only one who feels this way! After watching a documentary about ecoli in elementary school I have had this fear of getting some type of produce related illness. I have a box of disposable gloves I use to clean & handle food in the kitchen. Well just when I use my hands to mix beef or when I am baking something and use my hands. When I watch Yt videos and they don't take off jewelry or have long nails it makes me cringe lolFairplay wrote:Oh gosh, I can not stand it either because some people dont wash their hands properly. ^^ yeah girl, seriously. My parents think im off too. Raw chicken is like poison to me. I cant have anything near it while i prepare it. I use gloves too when i handle meat! I also have a thing for expired products. If it's near or past it's due date i dont touch it. I too, have a fear of getting sick from stuff like that and in my parents defence they tell me that it's bad to be like that LOL

We don't keep full sized bags of chips or other snacks like goldfish, cookies, veggie straws, etc. I can not, will not eat out of a bag that someone has put their hands into. We keep single serving sized bags at our house.
I, too, use gloves for meat. Well, for everything actually! I have to scrub down my kitchen after raw meat has been prepared.

I'm with your parents, sorry! To be fair, our generation grew up without all the fear mongering about contamination that there is today, and we didn't have nearly as much processed food.Fairplay wrote:^^ yeah girl, seriously. I've never food poisoned anyone, although ironically, I GOT food poisoned last weekend. I live in fear of that because I have a severe allergy to seafood and didn't know the restaurant was cross-contaminating by sharing surfaces etc. with the seafood and other meats. I'm much more afraid when I go to restaurants. Salads are the most common way of getting salmonella in a restaurant. Yuck!
I don't like sharing food. I wouldn't eat Britney's cakepops for sure, because of her method of making them. But some people go overboard with things like washing chicken. That's so bad, and something you should never do. When you think you are sanitizing your counters, you might just be spreading the bacteria. It's very resistant. I also disagree with anti-bacterial soaps, I think they create issues. All in all, I'm more for the old fashioned way of doing things as simply as possible, and not trying to decontaminate things that are not contaminated to begin with. I think some bacteria is good for your immune system.

Re: Britneyandbaby Part 8
Wait a minute, you're not supposed to wash chicken? I always rinse my chicken before cooking it.
Re: Britneyandbaby Part 8
^^ same with my mom -_- i always have to leave the kitchen. I can't watch.
I agree in regards to the older generations. My parents grew up in a developing country so hardly anything was clean but they survived and they alwayssss say "it's good for your immune system" LOL i dont doubt that at all!
I also found it awkward seeing YT moms prepare their childrens food on a plate and then pouring it out on their high chair tray. We dont do that over here. I just find it dirty because i think of the tray as a table and i wouldn't be eating my food out of a table!

Re: Britneyandbaby Part 8
I'm like that too, if my meat is a day before, of, or day te sell by date then I just throw it out. I'd rather waste $3.50 for a lb of ground beef then be paranoid about getting sick or my food tasting horrible. Milk too. Maybe I'm just paranoid but I always have the "when in doubt, throw it out" mind set.Fairplay wrote:^^ yeah girl, seriously. My parents think im off too. Raw chicken is like poison to me. Re: Britneyandbaby Part 8
Oh, about the food on the highchair tray, that's always bugged me. I agree! I actually thought maybe this is something new that is done, because I never ever did that. I wouldn't do that with grandchildren either. If something can't go directly in the dishwasher, which has high heat wash and dry, then nope. I know the trays get dirty, and kids ditch plates, but I still wouldn't put food directly on the tray. Ick!Fairplay wrote:^^ same with my mom -_- i always have to leave the kitchen. I can't watch.
