Usually for weddings, the couple will set up a block of hotel rooms for their out of town guests. They possibly could just be staying at the hotel the bride and groom chose.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I don't know that this is the case with them but here in Va and NC I've stayed in hotels that have previously been adjoining and now made into one suite. In fact, we stayed at a resort with a place similar two years ago. The main side was a large kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and one bath. Then u could go down the hallway to a regular type hotel room with one room with two double beds, one bath, desk, mini fridge and microwave, etc. that room could be closed and locked for privacy. So, very similar and this was called a family suite. So it can be done!

I don't think that's the same hotel I found. The balconies look different.
There is no way the room B&M have is called a 2 bedroom. Why the mini fridge, separate bathroom and balcony? If I expected to get a 2 bdrm and got that I'd be pissed.

This is my group of friends at our Prom. 9 Girls. We all got ready together. Four of us wore the same dress to three formals in a row. I don't get why anyone would ever spend more than about 150 bucks on a high school function.
Then again, my whole wedding was only $4000, including honeymoon. I don't get why anyone spends so much money on most things. I'm pretty strange that way. I like to have things like a home and no debt. I'm probably not normal.

I live in Ontario and people go ALL OUT for prom in my area. Expensive dresses, hair and makeup professionally done, and limos to/from the function.Theirmom wrote:Maybe it's just not a thing in Ontario?lurkymclurkerston wrote: You honestly didn't notice most of the girls at your prom had their hair and make up done professionally?

And when they block rooms they're always cheaper than the price on the hotel web site.DanieKey1016 wrote:Usually for weddings, the couple will set up a block of hotel rooms for their out of town guests. They possibly could just be staying at the hotel the bride and groom chose.

DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I guess it's just surprising for a couple that seems to spend money frivolously. I mean, they'd rather just buy some things than wash them!fossilfinger wrote:And when they block rooms they're always cheaper than the price on the hotel web site.DanieKey1016 wrote:Usually for weddings, the couple will set up a block of hotel rooms for their out of town guests. I realize you can block off rooms and that it's cheaper. I'm just surprised. B&M and their money to burn went the route they did. I doubt they would have if Mimi and Papa hadn't been staying there too.
I got married in Hawaii and had rooms if people wanted them, but also expected that people would stay wherever they wanted since it was their holiday. B&M are just seemingly strangely compliant and "easy to please" compared to their LA hotel experiences.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I live in the US and people here go all out too. Some more than others. I bought all of my prom gowns at the thrift store. I did buy a new one every year though. Some people spend 300$+ on their gown. I always got my hair and makeup done professionally. Only for prom though. For homecoming and winter formal people generally do their own. I feel like prom would have been just another dance if you don't go all out!honeybear wrote:I live in Ontario and people go ALL OUT for prom in my area. This is random, but I was just looking at the thumbnail from today's vlog and ..Bryan really looks like an idiot with those openmouthed smiles he always does.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I can't stand his open mouth smiles and those weird a** half laughs of both of theirs. Something else I noticed that bugged me was at the end of the vlog, M had SO much spit in her mouth, it was disgusting.
ETA: it's almost like her tongue is swollen so with that and her spit she talks so odd

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Lol I thought about that too. That's what most teenagers I think would do, I would've. I mean Cassie seems like a goodie two shoes in the vlogs and to her family, but she could secretly be a bad girl lol. Didn't someone post pictures on here once of her calling DB fans bitches and to leave her alone on Instagram? She's probably not as innocent as she seems.lilirishsprite wrote:If i were cassie and i was left alone on my senior prom night, I'd be with my boyfriend (now husband) having sex all night lol jsspacekitty wrote:What's Cassie really gonna do without her parents around? Didn't Nanny Hollister used Depression as an adjective in yesterday's vlog?

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Finally got around to watching the vlog - and I have to say....that hotel room is not only ridiculous (Oliver having his own room) but so insanely outdated and blah. The entire hotel just seems rink dink.
Shocking that this is nice enough for B and M. It clearly was seeing how excited Missy was....

And unpopular opinion: I think Missy's swim suit is adorable and I think it suits her perfectly! LOL.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Is Ollie's room conjoined to theirs? I really hope so. You never know what could happen...
Look at Madison McCain, she was asleep in a hotel on vacation and she hasn't been seen since the early 2000s I think. Haven't read on her in awhile and I don't want to say any false information so I kind of do hope Mimi is stuck to Oliver, we know his "parents" won't be..

I like it but it would've been cuter if she was bigger and more obviously pregnantcats-or-die wrote:And unpopular opinion: I think Missy's swim suit is adorable and I think it suits her perfectly! LOL.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I think she got it because like we said, she wants people knowing she isn't just chubby but pregnant. With Oliver, she wore bikinis and showed off her lopsided bump with no issue. I think she's self-conscious now.lizyfignewton wrote:I like it but it would've been cuter if she was bigger and more obviously pregnantcats-or-die wrote:And unpopular opinion: I think Missy's swim suit is adorable and I think it suits her perfectly!
