She's so disrespectful to Hawaiian Culture. "Why do they have to cook the pig in the ground?" And Bryan's reaction to the Pu-Pu Platter was kinda rude too. I grew up eating those types of food and Missy barely touched her plate!

Yep. Another day, with more hard to please Missy. Although I feel like this might actually be as close as she comes to being happy?rdt1004 wrote:"TODDLERS FIRST HAWAIIAN LUAU!" Get ready for some dramatic faces and stubborn "picky" eating.

Seriously though, another day where she ends the vlog exhausted. I have a puppy, a 6 month old and an 8 year old. My husband is working out of town for the next few days so I'm alone. Even I wouldn't say I'm exhausted! I feel like the average person doesn't throw that word around as often as B&M do...
And Missy, if you're reading, it's not the pregnancy. You were miserable and exhausted before! My husband worked out of town most of my last pregnancy, and I had a dog I was providing palliative care for while still looking after my older son. I maybe complained about being tired a few times. Oh, and I also worked part-time... by choice! I know, shocking. I have family that would love or have my kids everyday, but they don't because I want them with me since they are...you know...MY KIDS!

"I feel like there's a better way to cook it than in the ground." Like shut up, Missy. I'm sure that pork tastes a hell of a lot better than any slop you, Bryan, or Mimi could ever make. I love luau food and I'm a picky eater. I'm always open to trying new things, you never know how you're gonna like it.babyspice wrote:

So how long exactly would Missy have left Ollie trapped in his stroller if Papa hadn't come and got him?

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
because after doing it the same way for hundreds of years, they're probably doing it wrong. I'm sure it has nothing to do with culture/tradition and probably just because they don't know the best way to cook things like Chef Mithy does.rdt1004 wrote:"I feel like there's a better way to cook it than in the ground." Wait, Mithy never cooks anything. Bakes? Occasionally. Cooks healthy nutritious food? Never.
Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I want to see Missy's face if she tries Poki (Raw fish) or a Musubi (Spam with Rice and Seaweed wrapped around it). Since she luvzzzzz Hawaii and Hawaiian Culture!¡!rdt1004 wrote:"I feel like there's a better way to cook it than in the ground." Like shut up, Missy. I totally agree!runnerduck wrote:Was just coming on here to see if Bryan had anything to say about the Bruce Jenner thing. That would have been interesting lol.
About missy being a cold bitch...I feel like she's always been that way. I felt that with her first few videos talking about her losses. No emotion. I get that everyone deals different but she RARELY ever shows emotion towards anything so it kinda makes me think it wasn't just a coping mechanism.
It's so obvious that she settled with Bryan. Not only the jumping into Corbin's arms and wrapping her legs around him (never ever see that much passion shown towards Bryan) but also when they hung out with Byron Talbot, I felt like it was quite obvious that she was swooning over him. The way she cuddled into him during the picture (or maybe they were vlogging; it's been a while) She even got flustered and said Byron instead of Bryan once or twice.
Classic case of high school romance that shouldn't have made it past high school. They both have become two different people and those people are no longer compatible.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Missy bitching about the way the pork was cooked pissed me off so much. What a spoiled brat.
The princess with all her wisdom will teach those silly peasants how to properly cook >_>
Seriously, they are feeding you Missy, don't fucking complain when somebody is willing to put a plate of their culture and love in front of you and your bitchy ass face.
Eat it, be grateful, and suck it up.
On a side note: I love papa. Only Hollister besides Cassie and Jimmy that I can stand.
I really wish those 3 would just adopt Oliver and Bryan, then ditch Mimi and Missy.

DAT HAIR THO!
She needs some deep conditioning, to dye it a nice mahogany brown, and to chop it up to her chin. I don't even know if that will help, because there's so much damage to the top layer, nearly all the way to the roots.
And no more straightening. For craps sake, learn to take care of your hair Melissa!

I really think Missy is depressed. I think it would do her good to get a hobby and have interests outside Bryan. Maybe take a few sewing classes or a prenatal workout class. It would probably help out her attitude a bit.
I was annoyed by Missy's attitude towards the pig. I'm Cajun and grew up in Cajun culture. I wonder what she'd think of some of the things we eat and do. If the economy ever horribly collapsed and people had to fend for themselves (like the Y2K scare lol!) she wouldn't survive. Does she know how to catch or hunt anything? Or cook anything without a crockpot? I wish she appreciated the fact that she has the opportunity to travel and learn new things.
Also, her hair. I'm of the unpopular opinion that Missy can be cute. She does need to chop her hair off and quit messing with it. She should dye it to a color as close as she can to her natural color and leave it be besides haircuts.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Ugh, Missy was super bitchy and conceited in today's vlog. She was super rude around 8:15 in the vlog, when she was saying how the pig could be cooked in a freaking crockpot instead of in the ground. Ugh. Maybe I'm being nit picky, but I'm tired of these two never having any respect for anyone's cultures. First with Bryan in Cambodia and now with Missy in Hawaii. Another thing - does Missy never look in the mirror? How is her hair so horrendous every day?

I don't know about the mirror, but she can't stop looking in the viewfinder very time she vlogs! well.. they are tourists, so.. i mean, they annoy me, too, but when i take vacations i do things even though i know they are "touristy." glass bottom boat trips, swimming with dolphins, etc. are all touristy things, but so what? still great/fun experiences. just sayin..naplesgirl wrote:I grew up going on multiple vacations a year to the exact town they are in (my parents owned a condo there), so maybe my view is different. Those luaus are strictly for tourists, super overpriced and gimmicky. BTW, the beach by their hotel is next to a busy road and NOT that nice. They rented a car, so I hope they explore a bit more of the island - but I'm sure they won't.
