Re: HayleeAndBaby Part 1
and honestly I don't think it's a bad thing that she called an ambulance. She had no idea what was ring and they couldn't move hazzel. It was better to has a trained professional there to check her out instead of them trying to get her in the carseat themselves and making things worsemommaof2cuties wrote:actually it isn't the tax payers money. Re: HayleeAndBaby Part 1
It's kinda crazy but having been through what I've been through the last few months, dislocation can be more serious than a fracture actually because you're more likely to rupture ligaments with a dislocation and they often need surgical repair like in my case. I had to have surgery either way because my fibula was splintered, but my tibia was so out of place, it ripped all the ligaments in my ankle. My foot was literally hanging by a thread on the inside. Yikes.
But yeah my point is that dislocation can be a really big deal. I personally was driven to the ER but I don't judge her - I would've been taken by ambulance if I wasn't so in shock, I called my dad instead of 911

Re: HayleeAndBaby Part 1
I agree, i think its better to call an ambulance than to try and guess what is wrong and potentially do more damage. With little kids its better to be safe than sorry, imagine if they moved her and did more damage to her arm and she needed surgery? Then everyone would be saying she should of called an ambulance. You do what you think is right at that time for your kids.blackbettybamf wrote:It's kinda crazy but having been through what I've been through the last few months, dislocation can be more serious than a fracture actually because you're more likely to rupture ligaments with a dislocation and they often need surgical repair like in my case. I don't for a second believe that Hazzel does not have Medicaid. She has to go see specialist on top of her regular doctors. ERs will see you without insurance and send you a bill but most specialist will not just bill you later, you have to pay for everything that day.mommaof2cuties wrote:actually it isn't the tax payers money. She said in the comments of one of her videos that they didn't meet the requirements for it since she lives with her parents and has to list their income.

Hazzel isn't on Medicaid. I remember a few vlogs back Haylee saying how a lot of her money was going to hazzels medical bills.

Wow, it's crazy that hazzel doesn't have insurance! I live with my mom and i used her pay stubs as source of income so my daughter has medicaid. I really like it cause emergency rooms are not cheap. I live in NJ though.

Isn't it illegal not to have insurance now with Obama care?

Re: HayleeAndBaby Part 1
im pretty sure she has insurance. It's private and Haylee just has to pay what insurance doesn't cover. Don't quote me though, I could be wrong.

It's not illegal if she pays the penalty.
I think she probably could get Medicaid if she pays rent to her parents and prepares meals separately. I qualified for partial medicaid temporarily after my car accident and didn't have to use my parents income even though we live in different houses on the same property because I pay rent.

That works for food stamps but not medicaid in Co. When you apply for medicaid it doesn't even give you an option to out down rent and billsblackbettybamf wrote:It's not illegal if she pays the penalty.

Re: HayleeAndBaby Part 1
When my husband was between signing his contract for the military and getting our tricare when he was in basic, we lived with my dad. Our daughter needed health insurance and when I applied for Medicaid for her, I was told that even though we were in the same household only my husband and mine was counted because we provided for our child. My father would've made us unable to get her Medicaid, I'm not sure how much haylees dad makes but my dad is pretty well off.

Maybe it's different here (KS), we fill out what they call a "catchall" app where you fill it out and they tell you what you qualify for. I only qualified for partial medicaid because I wasnt working and was "medically needy." I'll lose it when I get a job though. I made the cut by like $75
