Why feel bad for them? They can change it anytime they want. They can afford TVs and computers, they can afford therapy if that's what they need. Their issue is that they won't admit to themselves that there's a huge problem with their lives. They think they are doing well because money is rolling in (or at least they are making it look like it is), but their problem isn't material and they are caught up in a downward spiral.laydee wrote:I feel bad for them, their lives are empty. You can see from the way they focus on material things. House, car, tv, macbook.... couldn't be more obvious that they're trying to fill a void with all that crap and look "successful". It's painful to watch.
What are they gonna do now? There's only so much stuff you can buy to make your life seem more interesting. They have all the typical stuff, all that's left is the car. What have they to look forward to/show off after it comes? Nothing.
They'll still be videoing themselves cleaning up dog poop in their new house and going to tesco in their fancy car. It's sad.

If it takes you 2 whole days to make some cupcakes and you need to get a babysitter to watch your dogs, oh yeah and the baby, then you are not really the person I want posting a video teaching me how to make cupcakes!
Recipe: cream butter and sugar, add eggs and flour. This stage will take 1 day.
Day 2
Now get a babysitter, put baby in swing, get babysitter to help you make icing.
I think that's exactly how Nigella does it.

Anna needs to step it up and be a grown up. Her mom has to come over to watch the baby and dogs so she can film a damn cupcake vid? Come on already.

Cupcakes are the only thing she knows how to cook, hence why that's all she cooks. She has the culinary skills of an 11 year old child.
Why bother getting a house with a kitchen.

Re: TheStyleDiet/LeFloofTv- Part 14
I don't think Emelia was held or bothered with that whole waste of a vlog. She's always in her swing, bouncer or left in her car seat. Babies love to to study their parents face and be held and talked to softly. Seems like the only time I see Anna hold Emelia is when she is feeding her. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being delayed in learning how to roll over and crawl because she can't spend anytime on the floor due to the dogs and lack of parental involvement.
Re: TheStyleDiet/LeFloofTv- Part 14
Anna is so pathetic. She acts like some helpless moron who is handicapped by her baby. I bake all the time AND I have a baby AND my husband actually leaves the house to go to work. I don't need a babysitter to watch my kid while I bake. If she wants to get any baking or cooking done *snicker* then she should try what I do: put the baby in a cradle or seat appropriate for a newborn and drag it into the kitchen. When the baby is older, put her in a highchair so she can watch. This is what I do with my son and it works. I just talk to him in silly voices while I'm baking/cooking and give him a toy. It keeps him entertained. Or better yet, wait until she's napping to do it. You're making cupcakes Anna not a f*cking rocket!TheHandbagOf Glory wrote:If it takes you 2 whole days to make some cupcakes and you need to get a babysitter to watch your dogs, oh yeah and the baby, then you are not really the person I want posting a video teaching me how to make cupcakes!

Newborns sleep a lot, so I seriously don't understand how she says she can't get anything done (you do your hair/makeup every day right?) Just wait until Emilia's older when she's awake for most of the day and expects to be constantly entertained, Anna will really be whining! We'll never hear the end of it!

She seems so hell bent on focusing on her Italian heritage. You would think she'd learn and want to learn how to cook proper Italian dinners.NomNomMinionMunch wrote:Cupcakes are the only thing she knows how to cook, hence why that's all she cooks. But she opts for the easiest way in naming the dogs and the child Italian names.

She swings back and forth saying that "Emilia such a good, easy baby" to "aaack, I have no time because of the baby". She's just using the baby excuse to daydream and do nothing. She's probably freaking out because of her creepy, abnormal, empty, hermetic lifestyle. Pumpkin Poo needs some major counseling.proudmama wrote:Anna is so pathetic. Re: TheStyleDiet/LeFloofTv- Part 14
Just jumped threw the vlog when Anna was rambling, walking around with the camera and the baby swing music going on loud in the background she comes off like a total lunatic !
Re: TheStyleDiet/LeFloofTv- Part 14
That really pisses me off! Babies need attention and interaction from their parents. I read that a lot of babies today are delayed in rolling over because they spend so little time on their tummies (of course supervision is needed!) In fact, many babies today skip crawling completely. Supervised tummy time is sooo important! They should really talk to Emilia more (and not in that creepy voice Dofus uses) so that she can begin to practice speech. There was actually a social experiment done by a czar centuries ago where babies/children at an orphanage were not interacted with or spoken to. The result: the babies and children never flourished and eventually died. I'm not saying that will happen to Emilia, but it shows how important it is to interact with babies. They NEED the interaction to thrive. Human beings are social creatures after all.dolliedays wrote:I don't think Emelia was held or bothered with that whole waste of a vlog. Like I've said before, Anna should invest in a moby wrap (if they can afford an iPhone, they can afford this wrap) or something similar so Emilia can be carried closely to Anna. It provides the baby with a safe, warm environment where she can hear her mother's heartbeat and voice, which is very soothing to babies. It also makes breastfeeding really easy as well as getting chores done around the house! Babies love to be a part of whatever their parents are doing. It's important for their development.

Yes, you know that stage when they go around the house just grabbing everything and pulling out books and DVDs and pouring stuff all over the floor, that's what I'm staying subscribed for!
Finding my little ones painting with a Chanel quad on the wall was a highlight for me!
Good luck with that Anna, snurk!

Re: TheStyleDiet/LeFloofTv- Part 14
See, that's what I DON'T get. If Emilia was an easy baby, Anna would have time to get things done. I have what some would call a "high needs" baby who usually isn't happy unless I'm holding him and moving around, but I still have time to get things done. Anna is just lazy and wants people to feel sorry for her. I'm so sick of her acting like a martyr and trying to get people to feel sorry for her. She acts like she's the first person ever to give birth and raise a child. I know they refuse to buy anything that's actually useful but they really should get the book "What to Expect the First Year." It has everything they need to know about babies, including how to PROPERLY hold a baby, care for one, different milestones, etc. Of course, they wouldn't ever buy it. They would probably just repeatedly bring it up in the vlogs until someone sent it to them.Gin0915 wrote:She swings back and forth saying that "Emilia such a good, easy baby" to "aaack, I have no time because of the baby". Re: TheStyleDiet/LeFloofTv- Part 14
I've got a few minutes into today's vlog, and so far I've learnt that Jofus' sister has lived all over the world. Presumably this means that she either has a great sense of adventure, or she has a job that enables a lot of travel. Whereas Jofus "works" on YouTube.
Also, I don't have kids so don't know, but is it normal (and right) to continually dump your baby in a chair rocker (?) as A&J do? I know we don't see much of their day, but it seems like when she's not being fed or sitting in the car seat while A&J go to Tesco or MSD's house, she's just chucked in the rocker.
I'm also wondering how Emiiiiiliaaa managed to soak the rocker with wee? Surely a nappy (diaper) is meant to contain it? Would it suggest they'd left her in a dirty nappy too long or didn't put it on properly? Or does that just happen sometimes with babies? As I say, I don't have kids and have no experience with their toilet habits, so I'm not just nitpicking at A&J, I'm just genuinely wondering!
*EDIT* Feel the need to add that I started writing this before I then ran off to the supermarket (not Tesco's, by the by) and have just noticed that the conversation has been had about the rocker issue. So... sorry for the repeat!
