See, that's what I DON'T get. If Emilia was an easy baby, Anna would have time to get things done. I have what some would call a "high needs" baby who usually isn't happy unless I'm holding him and moving around, but I still have time to get things done. Anna is just lazy and wants people to feel sorry for her. I'm so sick of her acting like a martyr and trying to get people to feel sorry for her. She acts like she's the first person ever to give birth and raise a child. :x I know they refuse to buy anything that's actually useful but they really should get the book "What to Expect the First Year." It has everything they need to know about babies, including how to PROPERLY hold a baby, care for one, different milestones, etc. Of course, they wouldn't ever buy it. They would probably just repeatedly bring it up in the vlogs until someone sent it to them. :-x
I think they may actually have that book along with "What to Expect While Expecting". I think one was bought and the other sent. She is either lazy or seriously unmotivated due to psychological reasons. It's funny how whenever people call her out on her excessive whining, LeDufs excuse it by saying that one cannot know how she feel as one is not her. How silly, humans don't differ that much. It would do her a world of good to do some hard labour and realize how easy her life is thus far.

Probably picking up more discount snacks to accompany the cupcakes.

Also, I don't have kids so don't know, but is it normal (and right) to continually dump your baby in a chair rocker (?) as A&J do? I know we don't see much of their day, but it seems like when she's not being fed or sitting in the car seat while A&J go to Tesco or MSD's house, she's just chucked in the rocker.

I'm also wondering how Emiiiiiliaaa managed to soak the rocker with wee? Surely a nappy (diaper) is meant to contain it? Would it suggest they'd left her in a dirty nappy too long or didn't put it on properly? Or does that just happen sometimes with babies? As I say, I don't have kids and have no experience with their toilet habits, so I'm not just nitpicking at A&J, I'm just genuinely wondering!

*EDIT* Feel the need to add that I started writing this before I then ran off to the supermarket (not Tesco's, by the by) and have just noticed that the conversation has been had about the rocker issue. So... sorry for the repeat!
only a few reason

1. diaper is too small
2. put on wrong
3. went to long between changing.

my bet is on 3 because they ignore her too much.

I'm sorry but that Halloween cupcake video was hilarious. The muffled sound, out of focus shots, the mixer while there's a creepy song going on in the background.

It was such a disaster.

That's what I suspected. It just doesn't make any sense to me. I would assume that almost all new parents are really attentive to their babies, especially the first child. How is it possible that you could leave it too long in between changes? Especially when you consider both of them are at home ALL DAY (except obviously when they're in the "rented house", MSD's or Tesco), they don't have jobs, they don't have friends to distract them... how can they not be lavishing their attention on their daughter and her needs??

Urgh.

Also that cupcake video - one of the crappest things I have ever seen in my life. What's the point in making a tutorial teaching people to make cupcakes that you clearly cannot make yourself, and are reading the receipe for straight from the book? And also the editing of that video was TERRIBLE. Jofus must really be suffering from a lack of sleep... or else Anna attempted it herself. But that's unlikely.

Lol at the curled hair and the stepford wife cardigan for her 'cupcake tutorial'...

I dare this cow to cook something other than cupcakes.

I wish I knew. They have it so easy they don't even get it. She is a stay at home mom..yet she acts like she has another job to attend to..rather then her child! And what bugs me is if that is the case. that poor kid is going to suffer from a lot of rashes and infections.

It must be her job, because he said she lived in Antarctica. Only scientists and people with jobs that are essential to the Antarctic base such as doctors, chefs, engineers, tradespeople etc can live there and it's a tough selection process!

I wonder what she does for a living?

What I don't understand is how on earth is Anna OCD? She barely cleans and doesn't seem terribly organised.

They really live in their own little Americanised bubble. Watching that ''cupcake'' video, you'd never even think she was actually in Ireland. Here they are buns, not cupcakes. Also, what was with American cup measurements and temperature in fahrenheit? Not that any of this is bad. It's just embarassing when they are supposed to be Irish, and have all these Americanisms.

Is their oven in Fahrenheit then? Why would that be if Celsius is the norm in Ireland? Surely Pumpkin Poo didn't figure out how to convert, lol.

I haven't watched the video yet but I've noticed in the past she uses American units of measurement, and I thought wtf! She was only 7 when she left America so it's not like she would have been doing a whole lot of measuring and talking about temperatures at that age making it too hard for her to learn the other way!

I never knew cupcakes were called buns until today! What do you call buns like chelsea buns and fruit buns (like a hot cross bun)? Are they buns too?

Every small cake item is a bun, except maybe scones and muffins :)

I'm guessing she got the Fahrenheit oven temp from the recipe. Think it had Hershey's kisses in it too so am guessing it was an American recipe.

I think she's so totally wrapped up in Youtube she's trying to be like all the American Youtube gurus. Like she doesn't talk or socialise with people other then her family outside of Youtube.

Ya they are called buns too. :)

I am in Canada and have always called them cupcakes! I've only ever heard bun referred to bread or hot cross buns or buns like rolls lol.

Are the measuring cups and spoons easily available in Ireland? Wonder how long her mom lived in the US prior to coming back to Ireland. Maybe MSD made use of American measurements when Anna was growing up. She's probably searching for recipes on American sites for some reason. To be fair, they are known as cupcakes pretty much everywhere else, even some non-English speaking countries so calling them buns would create a bit of confusion. Still weird how uneducated she claims to be in the metric system, I'd be embarrassed and she thinks she's cool because of it or something, weirdo.
