For me cuteness doesn't just come down to looks, but personality also. I agree that Ollie comes off as a bit bratty. He's super spoiled, and rarely says please and thank you. B&M want their kid to be the cutest, but they are teaching him to be annoying, anti-social and bratty.
I still think Ollie has some red flags too, some of which they encourage because it makes Ollie easier to handle.

This is so true! I've heard missy mention a few times that she gives Oliver 'time outs' but I've never seen one in action, I guess that's just yet another inconsistency in that poor boys life. He's nearly 2 years old, has little to no boundaries, and such an unstable lifestyle it's no wonder he's a brat. Plus I've noticed more and more they just spoil him with new books, toys etc constantly instead of actually playing with him or spending some quality time with him where they aren't all just sat infront of the TV forcing him to become obsessed with Woody. I mean don't get me wrong if I had the money I'd spoil my kids too, who wouldn't? But shoving new toys in his face every five seconds doesn't make up for lazy parenting.
Our oldest was an only child (and only grandchild) for 7.5 years. He was a very fortunate little boy, and spoiled in the material sense. I always taught him though, that he was "spoiled lucky" and that if he ever became "spoiled rotten" that his world would become very small and boring very fast. No video games, DVDs, TV, holidays, toys, etc. I get compliments on my little man's manners all the time, and although he slips up now and then, for the most part he's a little gentleman and not a zombie. It is possible to bless your kids with lots of nice things, but you need to make sure it's not ruining them.
B&M don't buy Ollie those things to be nice though. They throw new things at him to keep him busy. They aren't concerned when he becomes zombie-like and fixated... they encourage it!
Mithy is going to need her away time with Bryan so she can remind him he needs to give her undivided attention. It's been a few days of them stuck with Ollie, so I say tonight or tomorrow for sure. It's been like 5 days since they last had one. Princess will be getting insecure!
I just noticed this on my Instagram feed a thought it just seemed a little fake a fishy. Is it just me or does it look like she's digging her fingers into the poor boy?
In E & J's video when they got to the beach you could hear Bryan say in the background "he has to get over this fear" or something to that effect. Apparently Ollie refused to walk on the sand. I felt it was questionable judgment for Ellie to agree to this trip with a brand new baby until she said her father thought it was a good idea. Their religion is strongly patriarchal and her father's opinion would carry a lot of weight. In a way, I agree with her dad. What a fun opportunity to go somewhere they have never been before without having to pay for a hotel! I grew up going to Panama City Beach a couple of times each Summer because my godparents had a condo there. The white sand beaches are amazing and it's a fun place for families. I'm annoyed to have to put up with B&M all week but I still think it was a good trip for E&J.

Ohhh yeah date night WILL happen sometime this week for sure. What will be interesting will be to see if c&k and E&J also end up having one too or not.

I think Ollie has sensory issues, like we used to mention A LOT.
Jackson has no problem with the sand and neither does Gaines. He doesn't want someone to see a 2 year old fussing and ruining his image.
They think he's afraid of sand? Do they know anything about sensory issues? Or is this just another one of those things where they don't want to admit it, in fear of ruining their "perfect family?"
Therapy is great for sensory issues but it's also about trust and exposing the child to whatever it is SLOWLY to let them learn its ok. Not just force them because they're "afraid." That will just make it worse. My son has sensory issues and I grew up with some as well. I know first hand how it is. Poor Ollie.

Pretty sure the first time they wanted him in sand it was a "sit here Ollie" kind of thing. He was not happy about it and now he's not a fan. Honestly I'm surprised this kid even likes the water...
I can tell C and K don't care for M and B. I didn't notice it until I watched Bryans vlog. They seem to humor him but not include him. Jared and Cullen really seem to click.

I called it
I can't see Katie and Missy clicking :/ Ellie and Jared obviously like them though
It's just such a bummer to me to see how hard other people work and how many people deserve a vacation (all of you ladies, I'm sure!), but of course DB get to go on vacation every three weeks for doing absolutely nothing. I do freelance editing for grocery money and it is NOT difficult, people who do it for a living, like Bryan, can probably edit in their sleep. UGH I just cannot stand them. Rant over.
So I caught that Bryan said his goal was to be as dark as Cullen....well Bryan, if you would get outside and do things you could be as dark as him. I so wanted to comment and say that on the vlog but figured I would get blocked or something....and I didn't want the minions filling up my inbox.
Katie is like a child psychologist, isn't she? She can probably see what bullshit parents B&M are. I mean it's not that hard lol. But they're going to be staying there for like a week and it's not like a YouTube convention with fans and panels to distract them. They're going to actually have to interact with them.

That pic that Bryan posted of his chest and legs was disgusting. You live in California...why are you that pale?? Yuck.
