Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
i thought it was funny how,in the packing video, she was like "i'm not gonna pretend I'm perfect, i don't sugar coat things, and we've had some issues with this new apartment" and explained the issue with the stove and dish washer. when she first moved in to her first apartment, she tried to hide the fact that it was the same complex as her moms and when she confessed to it being the same, david chimed in that they'd had a lot of issues as well that vanessa didn't discuss. good to see she's matured enough to be more honest and candid about her apartment lol

That's weird because it only happens to me on the web but not the app.Kryptonite wrote:The newest YouTube update has made it so that comments are disabled on videos when they really aren't.jedoc321 wrote:Its a YT glitch i think its been happening too me on most peoples videosflightlessbird wrote:Wonder why comments are disabled on the new video

I haven't updated so I'm fine but quite a few others have mentioned this. Hopefully YouTube will fix their app soon!

Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
That huge apartment got small fast when she added that couch, overall the apartment is fine and fits them. When she said that she bought the baby gate it did throw me off a bit, Lily seems old enough to know what to touch and not to touch in the kitchen, they didn't have a baby gate in her old apartment, maybe she doesn't plan on putting child locks on the cabinets. Did it seem weird to any of you?
Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
I think the gate is there because this kitchen is more wider. The kitchen in the old apartment was barely a kitchen.
In the name of the moon, I shall gossip about you.

Jfc they have a lot of stuff. We moved my 3 bedroom house and all my fiance's stuff from his parents house into one house and we didn't have that many boxes. Thats a tiny apartment. Where did it all come from?

Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
I'm confused as to why they settled for that apartment, it seems smaller than their last one and it seems a bit of an awkward layout with the small living room and, like everyone's said, Lily's room being by the front door. That said, it does look like a nice little place and I'm sure V will make it quite homely.
Although yeah, a baby gate for a three year old seems a bit much, although I don't have kids so I wouldn't know.

I also found it strange they put up a baby gate. It's one thing if it were by a staircase but my 3 year old knows how to open all of our baby gates. The only one we have is at the top of the stairs I shut at night in case he were to get up half asleep and fall down.thenightowl wrote:That huge apartment got small fast when she added that couch, overall the apartment is fine and fits them. yeah that apt doesnt seem too much bigger (i thought that BEFORE everything was moved in)
the double sinks in master bath, extra shower, & 1 square ft larger kitchen may be nice, but the living room is tiny.

She owns way to much shit. I'm an environmental major and the consumption patterns of these youtube moms makes me sick. I understand lily having a bunch of toys but the amount of stupid decorations and unnecessary stuff vanessa has baffles me.heilst wrote:Jfc they have a lot of stuff. Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
The new apartment does seem like a downgrade. I would especially hate living with all the carpet with a dog, cat, and toddler. The only reason I could see them moving there is if it was cheaper than their old place so they could put more money into savings. But I don't think Vanessa ever mentioned that.

The couch takes all the space!! Way too big...i think a big couch and a small couche along with a table looks good.

Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
Lol. When I said I thought the apt. was a downgrade and too small, everyone disagreed with me. I knew it was going to end up too small in the living area. Like I said before, I just hope they are saving money in rent, otherwise I don't know why they picked that model. I'm not surprised by the number of boxes. It takes an experienced packer to pack properly. She wasn't putting much at all in each box, and wasn't sealing them properly. Whatever. I bet they move again next year. I wouldn't be able to stand a place that small with all the inconveniences of not being on the ground floor as well. We'll see. At least Lily is happy, and her room is very nice especially with the semi-ensuite bathroom.

Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
It is very small! I have always lived in a house so apartment living with kids seems so foreign to me (nothing wrong with it though!) I also can't imagine living on the 2nd floor with a dog and a pre-schooler. What a PITA!
I'm guessing the gate at the kitchen "for Lily" is really to trap Benny in there so he isn't on the carpet.

Re: 2011TeenageSelfEsteem360 Part 21
That may be true about the gate, but then again it still puts Benny within probably 5-6ft of every room in the place. I would definitely not have 3 pets in a small place like that. I guess everyone has to learn by their mistakes. Going small to save money is a great idea. Going small because you thought an extra bathroom was so worthwhile at the expense of everything else, is not a good idea. Hopefully it's the former and not the latter.nutbagmcgee wrote:It is very small! I have always lived in a house so apartment living with kids seems so foreign to me (nothing wrong with it though!) I think some people just prefer a smaller space. I've lived in small apartments my entire adult life, and now that we have a 3 bedroom home, I get overwhelmed very quickly by housework and maintenance. I'm an apartment-dweller at heart.
