I just watched Oliver's 24 week bumpdate and it makes me so sad for new baby! Oliver's bumpdate seems so natural and not forced at all. It's like missy is sitting around talking with friends about Oliver and her pregnant. It's so well done compared to this baby's bumpdates.

yeah the Ollie bumpdates were nice & you can tell they would put so much into them for memories. with this pregnancy, she just wants to get it over with & get the $$$ for her boring bumpdates that she doesn't even do all the time.

I don't understand why she has such a hard time sitting down and doing her updates. I would totally understand if her husband worked out of the house or even had a legit job working from home where he had to be logged in at certain hours. And it's not even like she takes Ollie out to do activities on a regular basis either. When YouTube dries up she's going to have a rude awakening about how the rest of us live. I hope Baby2 is an early riser and gets her up at 6am.

Yeah, I was just saying in another thread that a little bit of disappointment is normal but she is ridiculous. I really wonder she's depressed or something because her lack of genuine happiness and excitement about this baby is not normal.

I'm surprised she mentioned people's judgement of their decision... if it's Christopher.

Then with the mentioning of "names ending in ie/y" and suggestion of Benjamin... I think they're going with Benji.

Oliver and Benjamin... Ollie and Benji.

I can see how she wouldn't be 'sold' on it immediately... and how she would feel a bit cautious with people's judgement.

It can come off as un-original and YT attention seeking decision if people choose to link it with ItsJudysLife... and some may feel it's more appropriate for a dog, based off the books.

I can understand where shes coming from with people judging her on what they're naming him. I named my daughter an unusual name for a girl. I got the whole 'I named my dog that' thing too. And 'thats a boys name'. But her personality totally fits her and shes definitely Harley. I was so unsure of it until I she was born but it fit so well when I saw her. I didn't announce her name until probably 35 weeks pregnant just cause I was scared of the comments. I cant imagine having to do that to a crowd of 500K people.

Well they don't have to put it out there but they need to stop milking it for $$ and if they plan on NOT telling us until the baby is here in October, we need something to call him (like E&J said babycakes) and them waiting would make me 100% convinced it's a copy of Britt and Austin waiting to reveal the name as well.
Except I actually care about what they name their son because they have interesting names.

You are right, having a little bit of gender disappointment is normal...however MOST moms get over it and start to be excited for their new baby regardless of the gender. I don't think I've ever heard her say in the daily vlogs that she is happy, excited. She never talks about him or acknowledges him. Really sad. And her bump dates are completely ridiculous...she has missed so many and doesn't seem to care. We all know if this baby would've been a girl her bump dates would be totally different. She would actually try hard to make them something special and she would be on time every week. And she would constantly be talking about her pregnancy on the vlogs and showing so much excitement. It just makes me mad. After suffering loss you would think she would just be grateful that she has this baby. But I think Missy just wants a girl and that's it...her boys are just burdens to her. At least that's how she makes it look.

I kinda get this. Now, I wasn't youtubing my pregnancies or anything, but I am a mother of three. My first baby, I've got a weekly bump picture, and a million pictures of when he was a newborn. And even a journal I wrote as a "letter" to my unborn child.
My second child? I have 2 pictures of me pregnant, and I didn't even print any of her baby pictures until a month before her first birthday.
My third child, I tried to do better, but still only managed a monthly bump picture, and there are no printed pictures or a baby album yet. And she's 18 months now. I keep trying to get to it, and then it takes a back burner. Needless to say, I didn't write a journal for my younger kids either.
It doesn't mean that I love the oldest the most. It just means that my priorities changed.

I get that, but this is totally different IMO. She already decided to do bi-weekly Bumpdates instead of weekly, and she isn't even managing to do those. She's bored with it, not too busy to do it!

She's asking if we'd be interested in hearing her talk about her boudoir photo shoot, or maternity hauls. Basically, she's finding other things to vlog about besides her pregnancy, despite the fact that people have been commenting for awhile that they want to see those. No one is digging her makeup tutorials, DoTerra recipes, or her hair tutorials.

She knows what people want, it for some reason, she just isn't into it

Recap of today's vlog

- Ollie hits his parents with a cardboard tube his dad gave him
- It's Cassie's birthday, M talks about what they did for her 18th birthday
- B+M realize that they have to take Cassie seriously now that she's 18
- M talks (complains) about her pregnancy and how she feels that she can't talk about it because she is getting judged for complaining a lot. She says it's hormones, but she says she's happy and would like to talk (complain) more about it
- M goes to the disney store with her (drum rolls) ... MOM! They party decorations for Cassie and some stuff for Ollie because M doesn't like to spend a lot of money.
- B talks about Lego Jurassic World and it's really boring
- Ollie plays with Karma
- They surprise Cassie at home - there seem to be no friends, just family
- Montage
- They give Cassie an annual pass for Disney Land
- BM and Cassie go back to BM's place
- M demands cookies, Cassie makes them for her, M complains about 2 minutes about the cookies the birthday girl made for her

I'm hoping it was a YouTube staged party because Cassie didn't want her real one filmed. I hope...
