My gen eds bored the crap out of me. History of east Asia, no importance to me. It was painful.fossilfinger wrote:If you find school boring, including gen eds, that's not a great sign that you're motivated to stay in school. I found all my classes interesting - sociology, biology, comparative literature, things that had no bearing on my major - even if I had incredible difficulty with the material. School is supposed to engage you. That's the entire point of higher education. Engagement inherently equals interest. But if she can get through her classes and still get good grades while thinking they're boring, whatever works...
With that being said, I stayed in school, if you have classes that bore you but you get through them, that says a lot about your determination to succeed
