Oh god. Sancti mommies. I nearly lost it on the Jess thread a few days ago. Since we're gossiping about youtube families and many users here have children, it's completely fine (and interesting) to discuss different parenting methods. But some of these bitches think you're abusive if you don't do it exactly like them. And then there's the pretentious bullshit. Feeding your kid a cookie every meal is bad parenting. Feeding your kid a cookie on occasion is fucking fine? Congrats, your children only eat quinoa and celery.

I'm tired of seeing so much hostility towards people who are new to the site or who don't have a lot of posts. It's like your opinion doesn't matter unless you have been on here for years and years. I feel that everyone's opinion is equally important and I can agree with someone who has 2 posts just like I can disagree with someone who has 609,707,379 posts (over exaggeration ). I've noticed its been like that even when I first joined. That's what took me so long to join I had been reading here for months before actually joining but there were times "newbies" were being treated differently and that doesn't make someone want to join a site.

I'm also tired of people pointing out "well you don't know so and so out of here and so and so is this this and that". I've seen it happen before and I'm sorry, I don't need to know so and so in order to agree or disagree with them. I come on here to chat with other people about YouTube moms because most people in my life don't know what the hell in talking about when I mention Buzzgate. I've had interesting conversations with people and there have been so many times that I've come here seeking advice and reassurance from people and I find that amazing. However, it doesn't make me any less of anyone at that if I haven't formed these lifelong friendships with people.

I hope I am about to properly write what I wanted to say. Im not perfect nor do I claim to be but this website has been getting pretty high school and it's not as enjoyable which is why I don't post as often. See that's my thing if I don't like what I read I just skip past it but after reading the Gabeandjesss forum I just felt like I had to say something. I'm not perfect I've answered defensive and said mean things about the YT moms but I have this feeling like as of late it's a contest about who can be the meanest and who can be the one with the biggest attitude. I mean we are on a gossip page I'm not expecting us to hold hands we are all in some way bitchy but the nastiness of some posters is just astonishing. I don't need to tell someone to fuck off or shut the fuck up in order to get my point across that I disagree. There's no reason to be so excessively rude all the time to one another. It's just a gossip site. Cool I have 1,500 posts, is my kitchen clean? Did my clothes wash themselves? No. I get the feeling some people are way too invested and aggressive which just equals uninteresting conversations in the threads.

Feel free to ignore this, agree, disagree, or call me out. I tend not to say much because I know I'm not little miss innocent but jeez it's hard to not say something. That is all.

But to clarify, I think the new poster stuff is poor wording. I think it has more to do with an influx of posters coming in guns blazing ready the start some shit and less to do with "you're new and you can't sit with us." Other than that, i 100% agree with you and the fighting is dumb and boring. I've had less time for ytmd lately and it is so freaking annoying to check in and find 30% gossip, 10% butthurt IG 'moms, and 60% pointless arguing on the Jesss thread.

This. My issue with new posters is like what just happened in the Jess thread. Treating the mods like shit isn't acceptable imo. And if you're new and mods are telling you something you listen, you don't keep arguing.

Otherwise I feel new posters here are welcomed with open arms. I've never seen someone introduce themselves as new and NOT have several posters "welcome" them.

I can't even hate watch Jess anymore. I didn't even watch the actual wedding. The thread is a mess and full of people who can't let stuff go. I really hate that. I had a topic I really cared about a while back, and one I still think I was right about, but I dropped it to prevent a shit show. You can still think you're right and stfu. Like, it is possible, and an option I wish more people would take advantage of. I've still been reading the thread so that I don't repeat things if something interesting comes about, but it's sucking out my soul. I'll be back if Jess gets pregnant, ha.

Late in replying , w/e. The only reason I commented about low post count with that new member was because when I apologized about misunderstanding something I realized they were the same person who had been questioning the mods and what could be discussed on Jess's thread and it seemed as if now they were attempting to censor me. I hadn't known about the mod activity on that thread due to my WiFi acting up and being slow in loading previous pages on Tapatalk. I only decided to make that one post and not take it to the boxing ring because I only had that to say and didn't want to blow it out of proportion. Honestly, I could care if you have 2 posts or 2000. I was just wtfing over somebody so new being hypocritical in such a short amount and of time.

I have something I need to say... Something I have had on my mind for a while now.

YTMD used to be wicked. I've only been aware of this site for a little more than a year, but over this year there has been a drastic change. I used to be able to come on here and have a civil discussion with others without having to worry about the credibility of others or getting attacked by other users because of my differing opinion. Some people on here just need to chill. I feel the need to remind some of you that his is just a website and everyone has the right to their own opinions. The majority of the Youtubers discussed on here are idiots or just plain senseless. But you can all admit that you guys have made mistakes at times and none of you are perfect parents. I'm not saying their behavior is justifiable by any means, but some of the minuscule details that are picked out on here are ridiculous. I know that I don't feel as confident about posting on here anymore because I feel like I will just be completely shut down or judged, some of you can probably identify with this. Another point I would like to make is that MODS ARE PEOPLE TOO!! The majority of mods on here do their best to keep this site orderly, and trust me, from what I've seen that must be really hard. I mean, they've had to shut down threads because of how crazy it has gotten on here. I know this is just a website but everyone needs to respect the other users on here and just generally not be assholes. Think about what you post. Peace out️

LOL! I agree! Sometimes I feel people are bluffing a little to add to their credibility. Looking back I think one time I came off a little "I'm so perfect" when I suggested Jess could cook more beans and grains to feed the whole family like quinoa and black beans and lentils. Growing up with Mexican we had a lot of beans and grains in our diet and that's just what we ate I never meant it as "OMG it's GMO free" lol.

It's also super cheap too to make one big pot and give servings over the week

Some people seem to get all flared up for the dumbest reasons, like their that bored and feel the need so bad to trash someone they will find the tiniest thing, then people will jump in for the same reasons. Like the Jess and Fish eating debaticle for example. Sounds just like high school.

Parenting somewhere long the line feels like it became a competition on who does what better, who has done better in a certain timeline, forgetting they have their own faults as humans, their raising little people who will run the future, not pedigree show dogs for a competition. And saying " well if I was so and so..." Well yeah, that's what you would of done because that's your way of thinking, not theirs.
