Eh, if they wanted to announce early that's their choice. They seem to want to be open about it. I don't like them but to be honest I don't feel like Sam pressured her to put this up early when she didn't want to. But that's just my opinion. She seems open and like she wants to talk about it and reach out to women who have miscarried as well from the short little clip I saw in the miscarriage video.
As far as it being fake, I could see the pregnancy reveal being fake. Like she tested earlier and they put together the video later. Faking a miscarriage and crying on queue is a bit too out there in my opinion. Not impossible, I'll have to keep watching their videos.
Very interesting though.

Did Sam seriously say in the video that the US needed this, and that the video was getting so much attention and such that God picked them to lose the baby or some bullshit like that? What does that even mean?

I feel like they're the kind of people who would say God told them what gender it was.

As much as I hate them. My thoughts are with Nia, but there's something fishy about the whole situation. I agree. I just get that vibe. I'm hoping that they weren't assholes and faked a miscarriage. Sam is a asshole. STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR RELIGION AND COMFORT YOUR WIFE!!

Sorry guys....but Nia's reaction was kind of fake to me....I've seen her break out hysterically crying in other vlogs....like when someone hit her car....and someone stole her iphone.....this looked really staged and just didn't seem genuine to me. Anyway.....if you guys want to laugh at Sam's brother Mathew totally trying to save Sam's reputation in other comment sections check out this link:

Sam and his brothers are all so stupid. Sam desperately wants to be famous, but can't handle the negative backlash that comes with it. Well you know what they say... If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

I announced my pregnancy at 5-weeks. I feel every pregnancy should be celebrated. I've gone thru a loss before. I didn't tell my kids right away though. I started bleeding at 6 weeks but had an ultrasound and baby was fine. He is 2 now.

Something just doesn't feel right about Nia's miscarriage. I really want to believe them.

If I were God and I had to have a reason to cause Nia to have a miscarriage, it wouldn't be because the U.S. needed it. It would be because Nia clearly is not ready for another child and Sam is a controlling asshole.

But if I were actually God, I wouldn't cause Nia to have a miscarriage. Instead I'd give Sam a pilonidal abscess. Because I'm mean like that.

But, yeah, there's just really something off about this miscarriage. I too want to believe them because I don't want to believe that Nia would stoop so low to fake a miscarriage. I just really don't want a reason to dislike her. Poor thing has to live with Sam.

The pregnancy announcement and subsequent miscarriage video brought me here.

I saw Sam and Nia when their first Frozen lip synch video went viral. Tried watching their vlogs afterwards, but I quickly grew bored with the family's daily life and stopped watching.

I, like many of you, had this instinctual feeling from the moment I saw their pregnancy reveal. It just seemed staged to me. Their reactions, Nia's 'surprise' and their following display of grief--I truly hope this isn't the case, but I had gut feeling from the very beginning that this was a stunt. Could it be a coincidence that many of us had this very feeling?

User nessiboo made this observation back on July 6, a month before this 'surprise announcement' was uploaded to YouTube:
nessieboo wrote:Are those sonogram pics on their fridge? Around 11/12 min in when they are making jello
You can see the supposed sonogram in the background (upper left corner) of the vlog here:

So what could this be? Ultrasound photos of this supposed baby now lost? Or perhaps photos from a previous pregnancy (Symphony or Abram)? I'm curious to know what you guys make of this.

This is a terrible loss for the Rader family. Despite the many problematic things they've done in the past, they are still people and they still hurt. A part of me hopes that this is just a sham, just so that they don't have to suffer like this. It just reads like another stunt for more views and more sponsorships to me. They've done it before with misleading video titles and thumbnails. Why not take it even further?

This just can't be faked though. What kind of decent human being would take advantage of people by abusing this sensitive real life issue?

Since they are oh so Christian I would think this wouldn't be something to fabricate. If it is fake then that's disgusting and a giant slap in the face to the women that have had losses.

The miscarriage video seemed heartfelt on Nia's part, but Sam, as per usual, looked like a creep. I feel like he needs to be buddies with Shaylee's husband, David.

Also, this comment made me lol really hard.
"What a dweeb. Getting pregnant (or, in his case, impregnating) ain't rocket science. Mammals have been doing in since the beginning, and this idiot acts as if he invented it."

This whole thing seems so off to me. I noticed Nia was saying how in the previous vlog from the day before they were so overjoyed laughing and excited.... Yeah maybe but not over the pregnancy. They were excited and overjoyed over going viral the pregnancy was hardly even mentioned.

I don't usually watch these people, but I hate watch Shaylee Meurer (Shaylee Daily). She mentioned that these people were pregnant (and of course they're besties, *durr*) and I remembered their lip sync video, and thought I'd come over here and check out the thread. Once I saw what you guys were saying about it seeming a little fishy, I went and watched the two videos. I TOTALLY agree that something feels up.... The pregnancy announcement felt kind of... Poorly acted, if I can say that! It would be a terrible thing if they faked this for views... And it would be terrible if they really miscarried. What's sad is that they don't seem to be genuine enough people for everyone to take them at face value, and the fact that people are even questioning this says something about these two.

I think this whole website is disgusting. My sister told me about it. I just pulled it up because of some comments I saw on the miscarriage video. I now see that people were referring to you all.

I created an account moments ago, simply so I could chime in and defend what is right. I will not participate on this site after this. This needs to be shut down.

Who are you to judge that the Raders are fake? You have absolutely no proof of that. How dare you even consider saying those things, especially when a death of a child is involved. The world takes a family like this who is trying to follow the Bible and it tears them down. Sam guides his family down a Christian path, just as he should. I see no evidence of him being demanding. I see a woman who loves her husband and wants to follow God. God commands the man to be the leader. He commands that the woman be submissive. He also commands the man to show respect to his wife. What I see is a man who loves his wife and children and does what he feels God wants of them. I see a woman who submits to, respects, and follows her husband because God tells her to but also because her husband treats her with respect and earns her submission.

You can't criticize them and call them fake and jerks. You're behaving the way you say they do. God bless this Christian family. I pray they'll never give into this world.

One last thought I forgot to mention. Sam mentioned that this baby was a light the world needed. I completely agree with that. The pregnancy video reached many people. They then at least noticed their other videos. If they watched any of them, they could quickly realize this is a Christian family. The daily videos this family posts can easily serve as a witness. Someone can learn how to be a Christian through watching the vlogs. My husband and I have discussed many times that it is scary to bring children into this increasingly evil world. I always come back to if we raise them to be Godly, they can be a light in the darkness and lead people to Christ, helping the lost be found.
