Re: Sam & Nia
I watched some of the miscarriage video but had kids in the background and missed a good portion of the video. Did they say how they determined she had a miscarriage, like was she bleeding or did they go to the doctor and that's what they said?
Re: Sam & Nia
No, no detail She just said her womb ''emptied out''. That was pretty heartbreaking to hear. And they talked about God mostly. Sam said some deep BS about God shining his light through them and the U.S ''needing'' this (whatever that means..).allimac789 wrote:I watched some of the miscarriage video but had kids in the background and missed a good portion of the video. They then at least noticed their other videos. If they watched any of them, they could quickly realize this is a Christian family. The daily videos this family posts can easily serve as a witness. Someone can learn how to be a Christian through watching the vlogs. My husband and I have discussed many times that it is scary to bring children into this increasingly evil world. I always come back to if we raise them to be Godly, they can be a light in the darkness and lead people to Christ, helping the lost be found.
Ya showing his wifes pee is so Christian!! These people are not always Christian like!!! Sam shoves the camera in strangers faces.

Re: Sam & Nia
Something smells fishy. I truly want to believe that they're not the type of people to make stuff like that up.
But Nia looked like she'd just been cutting up too many onions. There were barely any tears.

Re: Sam & Nia
Wow.. I don't watch this couple. I saw their pregnancy video because Judy mentioned it. I just watched the miscarriage video. I really hope it's not made up, but to be completely honest, I thought the announcement was a little staged. I thought that maybe they had talked about him doing it before the video was made, but they weren't really sure if she was actually pregnant. I have no opinion on the miscarriage video. Everyone reacts to loss differently.

Re: Sam & Nia
And Sam now has no job...
He said how this career boost has been a blessing or something like that. This "career boost" happened a few days ago. If it's anything like the last time they had a viral video, they'll have good views for a little bit, and then they'll die down because they don't live a very interesting life and alienate subscribers. Being obnoxious about your religion isn't how you get people to come to your way of life or thinking. All you have to do is see the plenty of Mormon YouTubers, Shaytards, Ellie and Jared, CuteGirlsHairstyles, Samika, HeyKayli...and so on. They all believe pretty devoutly in their religion, yet they don't shove it down anyone's throats (minus Shay at times), because it doesn't get you anywhere but further from your goal.
Oh, and he put in his notice a week ago, just before the announcement...

Re: Sam & Nia
Lmao why would he quit his job if he wasn't planning something big. I think its disgusting to already use your child in such a way. Also to me it sounded like she got her period rather than miscarried but I'm not sure. It seems like the timeline is all messed up since they aren't really being truthful.

Re: Sam & Nia
I was never a skeptic about the miscarriage just because I could never see Nia making that up as much as she loves her kids and being a mother, but I do find it a little to convienent now that they had the viral announcement video and the MC and no he quit his job! It all seems a little to planned now!

Re: Sam & Nia
No one answered me so I'll ask again cause it's driving me insane! Why does their videos have a weird film vibe? It's like the picture is moving too fast for the words and it's so spinny. :S

Are you watching on a phone? It has to do with the frames per second, and it looks this way on my phone but not on my desktopgagalooch wrote:No one answered me so I'll ask again cause it's driving me insane! Re: Sam & Nia
It's the setting on their camera. That's supposed to be used more for fast action like sports. I think instead of 24 frames per second it's like 60 or something like that.gagalooch wrote:No one answered me so I'll ask again cause it's driving me insane! Re: Sam & Nia
Sorry for the double post.
DistantLines, you hit the nail on the head! The Raders are obnoxious and forceful about their beliefs and they (at least Sam) very much look down on people who believe differently. It's like he literally refuses to accept that people might have different views. He's very holier-than-thou. The Mormon vloggers (accept for Shay at times, I agree) aren't pushy and obnoxious about it. They just live their lives and sometimes their religion just happens to be included in their videos because it's part of their every day lives. But they don't go out of their way to include it, except maybe for Christmas, Easter, and General Conferance, but those are important events in their religion so it's understandable. Sam just looks for every possible way to shove his beliefs in. And it ends up making him look bad.
And about Abram always being without pants, it's because he's a boy. And in the conservative Christian community, modesty is very heavily emphasized for the females (which we've seen in that one vlog when Symphony asked if her pj top was too small and Sam told her she is to never wear a shirt that shows her belly, even when she's big like Nia). It's kinda meh for the males. I used to be part of this life style. I'm glad I'm over it.

Re: Sam & Nia
I know I've talked about this earlier in the thread, but that video where he read all these statistics about girls who grow up without fathers, and then when he got much deserved backlash, the next video was him all "you obviously don't want facts, that's all I was sharing, but you don't want to listen to facts". When someone disagrees with him, and presents their position to them, he immediately goes on an attack. He has no inability to meet someone in the middle to calmly discuss why they both believe what they believe. He's just all about him, and if you don't agree, he'll push and push and push until you shut up or submit.sfgiantsgirl wrote:Sorry for the double post.
