Sam & Nia
Re: Sam & Nia
I think the whole thing is real. What boggles my mind is that yet another Youtuber is quitting their job to do Youtube full time.A nurse makes good money first of all. Sam wants to be home all the time now to be with his family. Nia is happy. Why do so many channels quit their regular lives to do this?? Boggles my mind. Youtube takes 45 percent of the ad revenue automatically ,then they have a tax of about 30 percent to deal with. I wish them well. All I know is content suffers dramatically when people do this. Ellie and Jared are an exception. I can not even watch Katie and Cullen anymore because while they are good people, the videos are like watching paint dry. Katie left a child psychiatry practice for this ?? Does anyone else feel the same ??

Re: Sam & Nia
I find it interesting that the end of their channel intro theme song is "we're in this together" when clearly they are not. If they were in it together, Sam wouldn't suddenly quit his job without consulting Nia first and then spring the announcement on her in public.
Re: Sam & Nia
uhm. did anyone else keep hearing her reference the baby as "she" how would you know the gender if you •just• found out you were pregnant and then lost the baby??

Re: Sam & Nia
She said in the pregnancy announcement video that she had a feeling it was a girl, and since she was right about her "feelings" with her other two, they were assuming she was right about this one too. In the latest video (first day of the rest of our lives) Sam says "I see all of you new viewers as people that our little girl brought here and I'm just so proud of her, that she did this, she changed our lives". I found that really weird...kisses wrote:uhm. did anyone else keep hearing her reference the baby as "she" how would you know the gender if you •just• found out you were pregnant and then lost the baby??

Re: Sam & Nia
Ok I have only ever had one miscarriage so maybe if any other ladies feel like sharing their experiences they can either corroborate or set me straight - but mine took days. Like a week of bleeding. I was not that Much further along than Nia but the bleeding was super heavy, like pp bleeding. The pain was incredibly intense as well, it was like mid-labour for me. I can't imagine being able to go from 'I'm pregnant' to 'my womb has emptied out' in 48 hours. Although maybe some other women have had experienced like that, I'm not sure.
Regardless, quitting your job and not telling your spouse before hand, or for a week after is super douchey. Even if you knew your spouse would support you, marriage is supposed to be a partnership.

right. like way to discredit the boy if it were one although personally, i feel it was imaginary. they seemed so fake with their crying. damn me if i'm wrong but really. their horrible actors which is horrible since they strung along the kids unless their acting as well and were told to respond a certain way.lapetitebrunette wrote:She said in the pregnancy announcement video that she had a feeling it was a girl, and since she was right about her "feelings" with her other two, they were assuming she was right about this one too. Re: Sam & Nia
Same. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. Three days of red spotting and small clots. Went to an ultrasound to see what was up and they told me the baby died. The next day I passed most of the tissue. I went to ER from how bad the bleeding (large pieces of tissue) and pain was. Then after that I still bled for nearly a week. I didn't suddenly lose everything in one day.youmustbecrazy wrote:Ok I have only ever had one miscarriage so maybe if any other ladies feel like sharing their experiences they can either corroborate or set me straight - but mine took days. I've said it before, but I still think it's disgusting they are using this baby for themselves. Almost never have they mentioned anything other than how this whole thing has brought them money.WRW wrote:Something seems really off about this family.
Facebook post from earlier today:
"If you guys would like to see our first TV interview, we'll be on Inside Edition today or tomorrow. This has been an extraordinary opportunity for us to get the word out regarding hurt during a miscarriage. We thank you guys so much for the help in making it possible."
I don't know, it just seems like these are people that love the attention. Now they'll go on their interview tour and something else out of the ordinary will happen to them next month.

I've had two. It was pretty heavy both times for me as well and lasted almost two weeks of just bleeding and (TMI) tissue passing ended almost within the first few days.youmustbecrazy wrote:Ok I have only ever had one miscarriage so maybe if any other ladies feel like sharing their experiences they can either corroborate or set me straight - but mine took days. That's another thing I was wondering too. It's very painful, it's not like regular cramps. So I was kind of thinking "how is she up and talking". But everyone has different tolerances of pain and maybe the earlier you are along the less it hurts? I don't know.
Did they say anything about going to the er? Or anything? Women bleed all the time just to go in and see baby is okay.
The one thing that did make me think it might be real after watching the next vlog was how she easily cried. When she saw the plant was called an angel plant and started crying, that's how I was after I'd miscarry. But then people on here say that's not how her real cry is, so I don't know. I'm new.

Re: Sam & Nia
Sorry for the double post, won't let me edit. But yeah it was heavy enough to where I didn't even consider going out. Number one, I wasn't in the mood. But had I been I would have been scared of bleeding through and it being visible. You can only use pads and it's pretty heavy

Re: Sam & Nia
I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and bled for about 2. It was pretty similar to postpartum bleeding and I was even put on bed rest for it. I would hate to speculate that someone's miscarriage wasn't real because of how painful they can be, but it's also awful and insensitive when people pretend to have a miscarriage.

Re: Sam & Nia
Them announcing and celebrating the pregnancy to EVERYONE seemed premature to me.
Couldn't the test have given a false positive, or did they see a doctor and have the pregnancy confirmed?

That was my thoughts. What about a chemical pregnancy. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and it was painful and I bleed like crazy.
Also my last pregnancy I bleed often. Had a healthy baby.

Re: Sam & Nia
Just saw the latest video....and I'm totally confused now!! So they built up over 350K subs on their channel...the baby video has over 12M views....and now magically Sam is quitting his job? Also I'm sorry but with a bratty kid like Abram who in the world would want another kid? He is always hitting people and making ugly grunting sounds.....they should be focusing on the kids they already have!
In the latest video Sam asked Symphony over 3 times if she missed the baby?? Like give the little girl a break! Maybe she doesn't want to talk about it....what a weirdo!! They are going to milk this situation till it's dry!!!

Well how was he going to keep it and still go on their interview tour? [sigh]. These people are unbelievable (that comment works on a couple of levels).brownprincess93 wrote:and now magically Sam is quitting his job?
Re: Sam & Nia
it is kinda weird how he's saying things worked out that he quit and now they have new viewers. it's as if they strategically did this video when they did for the new viewers to solidify him quitting. I want to believe this isn't true but the way they are acting is really putting me off especially him being so amazed at all the views and new people... if I had a miscarriage, yeah I would be appreciative of the warmth from stranger upon stranger but it sounds like he's more so happy he got new viewers all around than he is sad about the miscarriage.

Re: Sam & Nia
Anyone ever think maybe Sam got FIRED because of his anti-gay video remarks and is playing it like he quit? What if that anti-gay stuff translated at work or him making fun of patients and whining about work on videos was seen by a boss in the hospital? I think he was fired. If he was going to quit, he would have done so months ago when he was so busy and exhausted. I think that this wasn't his choice.foreversoulmates wrote:lynnd wrote:Did sam really quit his job?
Ya, apparently he put in his 2-weeks last week and then told him he was done now because he needed to be with his family. He didn't even tell Nia until yesterday's vlog.
My husband would tell me before putting in his 2 weeks. Heck we would have a talk about it.
