I smelled bull shit from the second I heard him saying he bought bev a car.

So he doesn't follow Shay on Twitter where he had like 4 tweets all including the words "bought my dad a car" and "bucket list"...... Oh wait of course he follows him on Twitter, he probably gets shays tweets set as a notification.
Then he is subscribed to him and didn't see the video called "Dad gets a new truck" with a picture of Carl in a truck.... When I saw that I instantly new Shay bought it for him. But Bryan didn't see it????

Bull poop Bryan! I was annoyed with the idea but really happy for Bev, but now I'm so disgusted that he actually tweeted all that and his intentions and sincerity are clear as day!!
Ugh!!!!!!!

that will fly out the window if finn has problems with BF, whether it be latching or just doesn't take to her milk. for a mother who wants to BF her baby for the right reasons, that would be very disappointing but of course baby's needs come first. for missy... let's see how that goes she will do whatever gets the most attention and sympathy FOR HER. i've said this before when people have tried to say missy has PPD, no. she's just a fucking asshole. i hope for finley's sake, he doesn't have any problems or 'defects' because missy will love him even less.

as soon as it was mentioned here about mimi getting a new car, i immediately thought that bryan and missy were behind that. after they got bev the car, that confirmed it for me. there is NO WAY that missy would agree to buying a CAR for bryan's sister who she seems to dislike just as much as the rest of his family.... unless of course they got mimi a car too.

Bryan's twitter/Instagram has a subtle wink to us...its a picture of him and Jared recording for his EP and he clarifies that an ep is a "mini album". Thanks for letting us know, Bryan!

I'm not at all a fan of the Duggars, for lots of reasons (homophobia, covering up their son's molestation issues, teaching their kids that women are only good for making babies, etc) but I don't see the similarity. Can you explain?
She always has this deer in the headlights look. I think her hormones are screwed up from basically being pregnant for 20 years.

i'm not a fan, either. i would hate-watch their show.
michelle just very cold and detached towards her children, even though the ~fans are always saying what a great mom she is. she is a person who very clearly does not like kids, and yet she has 19! her older girls raise all the kids. michelle does nothing besides breastfeed for the first 6 months and then weans. the baby then goes to one of the daughters, so michelle can get pregnant again. rinse and repeat 19 times. she is addicted to pregnancy and the attention it brought her. she is now (thankfully) in menopause, so no more babies for her. it's probably difficult to see the similarities unless you have really watched michelle in action (or not.. just like missy)

Yes, Michelle wants babies but after that it's not her job anymore, she weans her infants and ships them off to a buddy team so she can get pregnant again! Missy is a lot like that, once the baby is a little older it's not her "job"

i really do think missy will continue on that path. people are saying that missy won't know what she's in for with 2 kids, but let's be real, she doesn't parent them anyways. she will definitely wean finley asap to try for her girl... and try again and again until she gets her.

Very interesting: Parenting: How Your Style Can Negatively Affect Mental Health.

1. Authoritative parenting: My mother was authoritative and many of the parents in my family. Authoritative parenting is well-organized and these parents often have a goal of properly raising their children and being balanced. These parents are not overly strict, yet they know how to make their child respect authority and develop appropriate values and boundaries. Authoritative households are often calmer and seem well-adjusted to life. Kids are expected to follow the rules established by the adults in the household, but it is okay if the child makes a mistake or needs to be reminded of their place as the child. These parents are often fair and firm when they need to be.
Children in these households often develop into well-adjusted adults who hold specific values. They are able to pass milestones without extreme setbacks and are often strong mentally and emotionally.

2. Authoritarian parenting: These parents have high expectations and often overwhelm their children with strict rules and regulations. These parents rule with an iron fist and often “scare” their children into obedience. Parents who utilize this type of parenting style might be referred to as “bossy,” “high strung,” or controlling and abusive. Fathers and mothers who are authoritarian rarely show affection and might even keep a distance from their children emotionally and psychologically, believing that this is a “healthy fear of authority.” I would venture to say that children who come from these households often stray so much that they become substance abusers, lack appropriate boundaries in relationships, and might even resort to suicide if they feel pressured to be perfect for their parent(s).
Children who grow up in these households often rebel and become problematic in families and in society. These kids grow into juvenile delinquents, substance abusers, or complete rebels (getting tattoos, piercings, engaging in multiple short-lived relationships, prostituting, etc.). You might have heard of kids who grow up in very strict political or religious homes who become “wild adults.”

^ A LOT of this is Missy. I don't think I need to explain how or why.

3. Permissive parenting (or indulgent parenting): Parents who exhibit this style of parenting can be mistaken as the child’s sister, aunt, or babysitter. This type of parent makes very few demands and does not have control over their child or children. These parents are often the parents who call “SuperNanny” to come and help them because their child has little to no respect for them. Permissive parents really don’t care about implementing values or rules into the lives of their child or children. They ultimately want to be their child’s friend or would rather be “accepted” by their child rather than respected. There is no “healthy fear” of authority and no respect. In return, the parent just feels like “oh well, what can I do.” You may have heard some parents say in embarrassment after their child does something wrong “Oh well…that’s Kevin, what can I say?”
Children who grow up in these households lack personal restraint and can pass for children with ADHD. These kids have no boundaries and respect for others personal space. They can be considered “wild” and out of control. Teens who have permissive parents often seek love, affection, direction from others in the world and may fall into negative relationships as a result. Adults who have been raised by permissive parents may have trouble managing relationships or adult responsibilities.

When I said that #2 is Missy, I meant in terms of the parenting.
Not the aftermath or the consequences of authoritarian parenting. Obviously Missy isn't a prostitute, nor does she '' rebel '' or is a '' wild adult ''.

Really does make me wonder what kind of parents they will be when Ollie/Finley are older! Are they going to be the "cool" parents when it comes to dating, having friends over or will they be super strict (they really will need to step up the discipline) if they plan on it because I can already see Ollie rebelling. Of course I kind of see it as Mimi,Papa,Cassie and Jimmy will be the only people they know, especially if they homeschool.

I think Missy did what she thought was normal. Get married, have kids. I don't think she ever had that real want to be a mom, but instead wanted what came next. She always wants what's next. When she had her losses, I think that put her into a place of "I want to be a mom" not because at that time she really wanted to be one since the end result was not how it should have been. However, now that she has a child, you can tell she has no idea what to do or how to interact but baby #2 is what is next, so she seems happier about Fin because it is what comes next.

I think she thinks she wants to be a mom but she is lacking in the passion to be. She is a mom because marriage = kids to her.

It is like someone forgot to sit her down and say "Missy, you don't need to have kids ASAP. "

I totally agree with you actuallydear. I thought what he did was sincere. I take back what I said, I do feel happy for his sister. Bev and his mom seems to be nice people they don't have it easy so I hope Bryan helps them more. Off course they got the car for Mimi, that's why she agree on getting the New car for bev

They will be the parents who try to be cool and best friends with their kids. Bryan will be saying all the "hip" phrases that are around whenever Ollie and Finn are 16 (that is if they don't turn out to be Jimmy's). "Bruh". and well, Missy is too lazy to parent anyways. She still dresses and acts like a teenager herself and she's a 27 year old, married mother of two. Can you imagine that changing? No. I can only imagine Melissa putting her phone & her foot down to parent when the kids are doing something that she doesn't want them to do. She will expect them to be around her constantly just like the Hollisters are. They will be expected to have minimal contact with the outside world, and if they don't obey, then and only then will Missy start snapping her fingers like a maniac. Oh, wait...

If you watch their very very early vlogs they babysat Bailey, Missy's cousin's little girl (I think) and her older brother (TJ? Or something) all the time. Bailey was a toddler, I want to say between one and two years old, and Missy seemed to care for her a lot. She made her food and put her down for naps and she and Bryan would take both kiddos to Chuck E Cheese to play. So...not really sure what changed. I guess being a mother was a lot harder than she realized, or she just really wishes she had a girl?
