I know kids can be super-picky. But Missy seems to encourage it and be proud of Ollie becoming picky. Like "oh, look, he's just like me!" When maybe if he had a chance to try some different things, he might like them.

You're absolutely right. Last night, my son took a few bites of chicken. But, I mixed corn into his mashed potatoes and he ate that along with his cottage cheese and a puree pouch of Apple's and broccoli. So, I actually try to feed my son healthy choices. My son eats liverworse with my mom and I am all for it. I hate the stuff, but my son isn't me lol so yeah!

I just got called out again "they know what they're doing". I said they obviously don't if they expect a two year old to " know he can't swim alone". Let the minion attack begin!

I think I've broke more of a sweat arguing with the minions than Bryan has in three years. I can't believe people are trying to defend it.

Guys I literally can not with these two!!!!! Why ?!? For the love of all that is holy why would you TEST your two year old to see what he would do in a pool on his own?

What's next testing him in traffic or by the hot stove ( that would require missy to cook so never mind) I will admit Ollie is way ahead of the game in swimming for
His age which is great but are you not teaching him he can go near water with out supervision now. Accidents happen that is why they are called accidents they happen so fast ugh scares me that they won't be paying attention when he gets to that age of learning to open doors and the gate to the pool!

I just watched it. How fucking disgusting. Their miracle child they "worked" so hard to have who almost couldn't have made it, and they are letting him do that? Do they realize they've basically told him it's okay to do that on his own now? Do they realize he won't always just go for the side of the pool or go for the floating raft? I'm literally disgusted. I don't give two fucks that he has been in swim classes since he was 6 months old. As his parents, Bryan and Missy NEED to be TEACHING him pool safety. It's one thing they aren't teaching numbers, colors, proper pronunciation of words, etc...those can be taught later on (but it's still ridiculous). This is a matter of life and death and even Missy's family just stood by! What is wrong with these people?!

All I kept thinking was oh my God, what if he jumps in and then papa tries to open the gate but it is stuck so now he can't, one of them would have to jump over the fence and by then Ollie is still in the water. Whatever, they want to test him fine, but someone please be there right next to him. I swear Ollie is just a little toy to them, ooh let's test Ollie in the pool and see what he does, it will be fun! Very immature parenting in my opinion.

I'm a day behind but random fact: My niece used to work at Nothing Bundt Cakes (the shop where they got the cupcakes for the "sprinkle.") Totally OT but was surprised to see the name pop up.

Arguing with them is pointless. They'd defend those two letting Ollie play in traffic if they could. I finally threw my hands up and quit.

Makes me wonder what else they've tested him in and just not shown us because he obviously failed.

They should be a little more concerned about his safety, and a little less concerned about trying to prove how "safe" he is to us.

Bryan controls the edit right? How do we know something awful didn't almost happen?

Yes! All the minions are so blind, it's useless. Oh well, hopefully your comment will make them think twice about doing stupid shit like that ever again.

If Missy and Bryan had higher IQs than they would be responsible parents and swim with Ollie in the pool and stay at least an arm's length away. But no, they are putting his life at danger so they can be even more lazy.
ALSO, regardless of age you should never swim by yourself.

Nah, they won't. They'll keep letting him do it. Just wait until they turn their backs for one second, he goes under, and they have to rush him to the hospital. Maybe then they'll learn.

Now I have minions attacking me calling me lame and to never have kids. I'd laugh if I wasn't rolling my eyes so hard my head was hurting.

Missy and Bryan I really hope you are reading here and realize what a dumb thing you did yesterday. Not only was that just about the most unsafe thing I have EVER seen, like the poster above me said ^ what if the gate had malfunctioned? And you know what, by the time you guys realized he was in distress it would have already been too late, bc at that point he would already have water in his lungs. Not only was this a STUPID 'test" that put your child in an insanely dangerous situation, but now guess what? You just encouraged your child to get in the pool and do these things when you aren't looking.. If you let him do it once, then it becomes something he thinks he can do all the time. You trust your alarm and fence WAY too much, both of those things have been known to fail and instead of teaching your child that he should NEVER get into the pool without you, you sat and cheered him on. You both need to take a step back, actually you whole damn family needs to take a step back and see how dumb and dangerous this stunt is. But its all for the views you guizzzzzz "TODDLER TRAPPED ON LIFE SUPPORT" will bring in tons of views after they find him face down in the pool... and we have the video proof that they decided to teach their toddler it was ok to get in the pool alone. There are tons of things that they do that annoy me, but being annoying and putting your child's life in danger are two totally different things... This makes me SICK

Wth.
What is going to happen one day when Missy is napping, Bryan gets distracted tweeting while on the toilet, and Oliver gets to the pool? :-(

And bs that you don't want people to worry. The title and contractions drama say very differently.

Good point, why was poppa suddenly pool side with his legs in? Was he wet at that point? I didn't notice... and im not watching it again. Something had to happen for him to suddenly be pool side for round two.

I'm glad that they got him swimming lessons and it does seem like he could get to the side if he fell in but why make him think it's okay to get in the pool without an adult? That's all they're doing by standing on the other side of the fence while they laugh and allow their 2 year old to literally possibly jump to his death because he doesn't know any better, and letting Karma run around with Ollie so close to the pool? What if he pushed Ollie in and he hits his head or something and can't get to the side and Bryan and the Hollisters are too busy filming and giggling behind the gate to realize ugh seriously gives me a panic attack just thinking about it. I really can't find the logic in this "test"

That makes me question it too, because suddenly Poppa was pool side in one of the clips. What did Ollie try to do that they didn't want us to see? Also, Ollie jumping to the raft could have very easily gone wrong.

another good point. Karma could have very easily knocked him in and mad him hit his head, or even swam over too him and inadvertently drug him under. So many bad things could have happened but yet they think its a smart idea.
