Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
I hated suggesting it, but I do wonder. Something about the big deal she made about having to eat the cookie, and how she would shake her head when Bryan would say "he still hasn't moved". I'm just not sure she was completely honest.kittypurry wrote:HelloSweetie, I'm glad you said you thought Ollie's kick counts were fudged! I've been thinking that for a while, but it seemed like the general opinion was that Ollie was legitimately in distress and I didn't want to be the first I have no proof other than Missy trying really hard to get him to come early (she thought he would come before 37 weeks) and claiming pre-e. I thought it was so weird how Missy got her wish that he would come early (the doctors wouldn't induce until 39 weeks, even with her being high risk)
Missy will probably make another trip to the ER/urgent care for some reason within the next two weeks. I have a feeling it will be because she thinks her water broke again, or for the contractions, but there will be a doctors visit (outside of the normal checkups) before October

IF she made a bigger deal about it then it was, it would be hard to be like "ok, he's moving fine now" when they suggest a C-Section. At that point there would be no way out.
Obviously he probably was in distress, but I wouldn't put it past Missy to try and pull something knowing what we now know about her.

Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
It doesn't matter what Missy tries to pull. You can't fake a baby in distress. He wasn't "probably" in distress, he was in distress. His placenta was in the small part of her uterus, and his oxygen/nutrient supply was slowly being pinched off. Her c-section was an emergency, and done after many hours of professional monitoring, NSTs and sonograms. Ollie failed all his tests, so they delivered him. She may have exaggerated his lack of movement for the camera. She may have tried to get extra attention. But the medical data doesn't lie. He was in distress, and ready to come out. Missy couldn't have fudged that.HelloSweetie1 wrote: I hated suggesting it, but I do wonder. Will she try to pull some shit for sympathy? Of course she will. She already has. But there's no way she faked what happened with Ollie. Unless she had a whole hospital in on it with her.

Given how poorly Ollie did during the NST at the hospital, I don't think Missy fudged anything.kittypurry wrote:HelloSweetie, I'm glad you said you thought Ollie's kick counts were fudged! I am curious how the new crop of medical professionals, including her midwife, will handle Missy's desire for the baby to come early.

Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
Yeah, you can fudge kick counts till you're blue in the face. You can lie to the staff. But you can't fake your baby's heart rate and true distress. If they did an emergency C-section, Ollie needed it. And if the staff at the hospital is like any of the OB nurses I worked with, they are used to uncomfortable moms trying to find ways to get their babies out early (unfortunately, Missy's type is not rare) and they will be kind but firm and not take any crap from her. And they will check her out and send her on her merry way. If she pisses herself and tries to say her water broke, they will tell her no, it's pee, and once again send her home.loopdeloop wrote:Given how poorly Ollie did during the NST at the hospital, I don't think Missy fudged anything.kittypurry wrote:HelloSweetie, I'm glad you said you thought Ollie's kick counts were fudged! And Missy, if you're reading here, if you can carry on a conversation and vlog during a contraction, it's not real labor.

Sorry, just thought of something. I would love to be a fly on the wall of the nurses station while Missy is labor. I can just see their eyes rolling every time the call light goes on... And drawing straws to see who has to go check her next.

I always thought it was odd that Bryan is always "working" during appointments. I don't think it can be blamed 100% on Missy and Suzanne either. If he really wanted to go see his baby, he would go. It's not like he even has any real work to do.

Maybe my hospital had really archaic technology or maybe they had typical current technology and I'm not remember correctly but when I went in for an NST for my baby they had me push a button every time I felt baby move and then they matched that chart with the heart rate to get the results from what I understood. If that really was the case and Missy's test was done the same way couldn't she have fudged the test? I could be mistaken and they may have been monitoring babies movements along with me pushing the button tho...

I feel bad for Bryan. Yes, he's choosing to stay with Missy, but sometimes I feel like he owes the Hollisters for "saving him" during his teen years.
He just needs to gather up Jim, Jimmy, Ollie, Finn & RUN!

Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
She can fudge whether or not the baby is moving, but it would look weird to have his heart rate changing while she's saying he's not moving. If they had any doubts, all they'd have to do is an ultrasound, and they would be able to tell if he was really moving or not.Farleygirl wrote:lmmomSD wrote:Yeah, you can fudge kick counts till you're blue in the face. Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
^^ when I had my son and was being monitored due to lack of movement, I also had the button to push. I ended up pushing it 3 times in an hour (so he failed) and his heart rate decelerated twice during that time so they had to call a C-section. It happens.
I think back then, before the YouTube money started rolling in, she was legitimately concerned about Ollie's lack of movement and wanted him to be okay. I'm far from a minion and not fond of Bryan or Missy, but to go through a third loss would be tragic even for them.

Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
I don't understand how someone that had their child saved by an NST, can be so excited about an iPhone app that does the same thing. It doesn't. It does the same as a Doppler. Missy doesn't even realize that an NST is so much more complex than a 3 second listen to the Abbie's heart.
Then again, I guess maybe I need to stop trying to make any "sense" of how B&M think. Many things they do, say and think defy logic and normal reason

Re: DailyUnnecessaryPurchases- Part 35
Yes, I just had my son last month. I went in twice during my pregnancy, because I wasn't feeling him move much and I had to push the button too. They explained that they're able to see the movements on the strips but the button lets them know how many times the mother is able to feel the baby. Turns out my son was moving just fine, and I just couldn't feel him much because of my anterior placenta, which basically muffled his movements.HelloSweetie1 wrote:I don't understand how someone that had their child saved by an NST, can be so excited about an iPhone app that does the same thing. This was my 2nd child so I took the lack of movements really seriously. I didn't take it seriously with my first child. I figured they slow down towards the end. When I'm reality babies should move well every two hours.
Turns out my first son was in distress and was born unresponsive. He has cerebral palsy now. But I'm thankful he's alive. I suffered from PTSD from his traumatic birth. I had a midwife and wasn't in a hospital, so you can imagine how scary it was to call 911 and everything.
BUT ANYWAYS-Seeing how missy and Bryan treat Ollie really eats at me. They SHOULD be more engaged and grateful for their little boy and that his circumstances could have ended badly, but nope. They just seem to choose to forget about everything.

Why couldn't Mimi watch Ollie and Bryan go with her to the appointment ? I found it so weird in the blog where Bryan says it was nice spending time with Ollie today lol almost like he's not his kid.. Don't you spent time wth him all day every day? I can't remind what blog it was but it was recently...

Bryan can't go to the appointments because Missy needs Mimi there. That means Bryan has to stay home to watch Ollie.
Sure he could grow a pair, but it seems all the Hollister men just bow down and cater to the women.
Btw, I think Missy is turning into her mom a little more everyday . She looks just like her here!

That caption says it all. Missy is his whole "squad" No real friends, no family nearby that really want to be a part of things. Not that I feel sorry for him-- he did it to himself!HelloSweetie1 wrote:Bryan can't go to the appointments because Missy needs Mimi there. That means Bryan has to stay home to watch Ollie.

And it's such an awful picture. Who is he trying to be? Kanye? Bryan, you are not cool. You will never sit at the popular table. And Missy looks like some trailer trash.

Bryan posted this at 10pm. She's really wearing her sunglasses on her head at night? And just walking around with her shirt pulled up? Um...ooooook
