I don't even read the DailyBumps thread, too much group mentality drama. But my point is pretty much people seem to have such a deep dislikes for certain YT mums or need to find something, anything, to gossip about low key unproblematic ones, teen or not, they will bring up ANYTHING to make such drama. It's like come on? Such high school drivel. I didn't like this girl in middle school for no reason and I never tried to justify it. Point blank I didnt like her, I don't know why and she didn't like me either. We mutually agreed we were never gonna be the best of pals and left it at that.

I agree with this so much. Lately this whole board has just become either one big massive fight or a battle to be the best parent on the forum.
Having to sift through pages upon pages of fighting is so boring and it's getting really annoying.
And having to sift through everyone talk themselves up as parents is also super annoying and boring. This place used to be a fun place to come and chat about the mums and now it's just a big mess. Sometimes I don't even know why I still come here, mostly just because I'm too lazy to hate watch and like reading people's opinions on what the families are up to, but now it's becoming exhausting sifting through all the shit.

So agreed. The DB thread is ridiculous these days. They are SO nit picked to a point I wish these people had their lives on blast so we can see how "perfect" they are in comparison to the people they're bashing. I'm worried about coming off as a minion because I'm always wanting to stand up for them. And I hate them too! Yes people, your hate board is so pathetic you are making people like them again. That thread moves so fast but is anyone really saying anything? No, not really.

Frankly at the end of the day, this place use to be used as a place to discuss/gossip/debate about these Mum's about certain issues they have or whatever, away from their YT or Social Media.

Now it's feels like it's a big "Who's the better mom" forum with everyone competing and frankly half the stuff I read just sounds like total BS. Just makes me laugh how all these YT moms were always saying " Those GG ladies are probably only talking trash about me to feel better about their crappy parenting " and I'm starting to almost agree that it's a pretty good possibility.

I agree the site has changed so much in the past year and definitely the past 3. That's why I don't come around much anymore. Even Tayler's thread turned into 3 pages of "my kids aren't allowed to eat sugar" and "we don't medicate for behavioral issues"

Oh and I don't know if anyone here ever checks in on youtalktrash but I do when things get super slow here or when I want to see the newest crap they are doing to kailyn. I think I posted a screenshot to the jess thread awhile ago of them bashing our whole site because of all the petty bitching that goes on. So they are actually taking the time out of their day of yt bashing to bash us for the dumb fighting that goes on every couple of days lol. So yea we look a little ridiculous

Nobody goes on the DB board of YTMD to read five pages of other people's birth stories. If that's the kind of thing you want to read/post about you're on the wrong site. Try a parenting forum, not a gossip forum because this is NOT the place for it.

I'm here for the gossip forum. But it's not shocking to hear people talk about their own experiences. We've been talking about Missy and her "labor" for the past three or four threads. It's natural to offer your own story and experiences up for comparison, same for Jessica's thread and the party for Caden.

So on FreeJinger, they brought up a new rule that if you "snark" (aka harass) one of the people on social media or otherwise and you allude or mention you are from FreeJinger, that there will be consequences for that.
Which I think is suuuuuuch a great idea, because I (and I know the mods agree) hate when people go onto Bryan, Jess' or any other YT personalities social media and just comment "snarky" things to them. For awhile, the Daily Bumps forum was just littered with people screenshotting themselves saying rude things to Bryan or Missy and then being like "they blocked me, I guess they can't take THE TRUTH!!11!!!"

If I could do anything to improve this site, it would be that those type of screenshots and bragging about harassing people online would get banned or at least warned. Of course you can't police what people do on social media, and no one (except power hungry crazy people) would do that. But seriously, if those people who brag or post screenshots of them harassing people on social media would get a warning it wouldn't be the worst thing.

This! It makes us all look stupid. This whole point of this site is so we can have our opinion on them without littering their pages with our thoughts and so we don't get harassed by minions for not kissing the ground these youtubers walk on.
Let's be real, 99% of the youtubers talked about on here read this site, there is no need to harass them on their social media.

People want the ass pats that come along with a lot of it. They want to fit in and look cool, and they think leaving ~edgy~ comments is the way to do that.
