Seriously what's in the water in Carolina? Three YouTube girls have all managed to have a child with some sort of issue. Lily having Turners, Kylee with Turners, Cystic Hygoma, Hydrops ( possible indicators of trisomy 13, 18, 21) and Parvovirus, then Nolan with his arm, hand and other issues. Think the water there needs to be tested.

I wondered the same thing a few months ago, all these children born to young healthy mothers, all having major medical issues. Very odd.

The Caleb thing was in such bad taste. But what was even worse was DURING her talking about it she smiles and laughs because Nolan is doing something cute. WTF. I was confused for a sec what she was smiling when talking about a child that died. I get the point she was making but she expressed it really poorly. And without condolences.

Actually, there used to be a huge thing about the water near Camp Lejeune causing all sorts of health problems and defects, when we lived there a few years ago the cases of breast cancer rising in both men and women had specialists in Charlotte incredibly concerned. I had gone to an appointment with one of my friends with cancer and her doctor mentioned it during her appointment, he said to look up all of the issues they had years ago and he wouldn't be surprised if there were still things going on.

Did anyone notice at the end how stressed out she looked when he started fussing? He probably picks up on it and it makes him more fussy.

I hope she lets us know what is going on soon. It is so scary to know something is "wrong" with your child. It is so sad that he has had to deal with all those blood draws. I can't imagine how she is feeling. One thing I've noticed with Brit is that she doesn't express her emotions much, even when talking about Nolan's medical issue. I feel like she didn't mean to disrespect Caleb's memory or family, she was just trying to get her words out and not really thinking about how the words were delivered.

Really? She edits the video when she's done. If she didn't say it right, she could've taken it out. But she didn't.

That is true, I didn't think about the fact that she edits the videos. I'm not defending her, though. I am just saying that she doesn't seem like a very emotional person as it is. This could also explain why she doesn't have very many friends- she doesn't have very good social emotional skills (which is pretty clear by her videos)

I said the same and the fact that she thanked everyone for keeping Norman in their prayers but couldnt do the same for caleb and his family. And kept smiling and paused right in the middle of talking about caleb... What an inconsiderate bitch

I thought of muscular dystrophy as well when I watched the video, I haven't watched anything of hers in ages (or commented or lurked here in ages!) but I know it's been mentioned before how he sort of slumps to one side and seems like he doesn't have much body strength in certain parts of videos. I have taken care of child with muscular dystrophy and it's consistent with what has been shown so far but don't quote me, I'm sure he symptoms could be anything. Poor little guy though I'm 20 and hate having blood taken I can't imagine being that little and having it done constantly!

Well using my PHD from Google it looks like muscle dystrophy. I couldn't find anything about elevated white blood cell counts and elevated platelet counts related to the illness though. But the geneticist and neurologist make sense then. Especially because she has talked about his poor muscle tone on his hand that he needs surgery for. Looks like leukemia or md. Both aren't good at all. I wish she would just tell us what she knows!! Poor Nolan.

I think you're onto something though. She seems to lack emotion unless it directly involves herself. I don't know if she had something happen in her childhood (the lotus flower tattoo to symbolize her hard childhood) or if her head is just shoved that far up her ass. Hmm...

^^^ I agree with you on her being emotionless. She seems like the type that does care much about other ppl like friends. I know we dont see her whole life but she also seems like a boring partner. Her & Ean NEVER go on dates, i believe they went once and took Norman. Like jeez theres nothing wrong taking time for yourself once in a while.

After reading through the symptoms of each... I was surprised to see that Fanconi Anemia 'is the result of a genetic defect in a cluster of proteins responsible for DNA repair. As a result, the majority of FA patients develop cancer, most often acute myelogenous leukemia, and 90% develop bone marrow failure (the inability to produce blood cells) by age 40'... surprised since leukemia was mentioned in the comments (I haven't watched the video myself.)

I'm sure it very much is a 'medical mystery' at this point... the diagnosis options seem to be endless and easily combined.

Haha maybe because it is known he does have SOMETHING just we're not aware of what yet. So we're not really labeling him with just hunches we have, it's more looking up the symptoms B has shared and trying to connect the dots.

lol there were some nazis on this thread too trying police whoever talked about Nolan. I was myself chewed upon when I said he may have thumb hypoplasia and associated symptoms. Well, like always I didn't care but I'm sad that I could be right I hope Nolan is ok. I never wish health issues on any child.

Missy wears them too. I wear glasses and got contacts Jan 2014. I barely lasted the month. It was way too much work. And I have allergies so rubbing my eyes was not a good thing. I don't know how they keep up with it! I'm too lazy. I only wear them for special events.

I honestly don't see what that has to do with so many babies being born with birth defects in NC.

I also don't see how it matters. Some people can't do contacts and some people can. A lot of the time they're cheaper than prescription glasses and if you're prescription isn't as high as mine you can just buy them and get them that day at the eye doctor. Also, if they have super high prescriptions they might be self conscious about the thickness of glasses (that's why I don't wear mine out in public).

It's literally preference and unless you have evidence of them being colored then, yes, all contacts are prescription contacts. You don't just get them cause they're trendy. This ain't the 70s.

No lol. I am not saying their eye health is bad because of NC waters. I was just wondering why almost all of them wear lenses. Just a general question as I have NO idea how lenses work.
