Oh man it's a real name. Though I doubt she's using the British pronunciation.
And also a drug for T2D
Why must she do this???

but she also changed Zylar's name around so I hope she changes it but it might end up worse than Dexton

I love Daxton and could see her using it but I agree with PPs; it just sounds like a cold medicine.

Daxton is better than Dextin or Dexton haha. Daxton is Shay Carl's youngest' sons name.jesswhytho wrote:I love Daxton and could see her using it but I agree with PPs; it just sounds like a cold medicine.

Re: Sierra Satterfield
Sierra basically proved the point that spanking can lower IQ.. She says she got spanked and she turned out "fine". Ummm she is a prime example of how you don't want your daughter to grow up to be.. It makes sense she was spanked, she has all of the side effects. You have to be so careful when you leave her a comment or she will go into a rage no matter how harmless the question/comment was, 2 kids/different dads, has naked pictures of herself on the Internet, mooches off everyone, depends on men, yea Sierra you turned out just fine....

Re: Sierra Satterfield
Curious how many of you ACTUALLY have children.
Lol I'm sorry but the IG mom gossip aside from Alyson is fucking stupid.
No words? Maybe a little alarming but it doesn't mean there is some huge problem she is neglecting... I have two children. My oldest was speaking quite a few words by 9 months and speaking in short sentences not long after his first birthday but he didn't walk until 15 months... This is normal development. My youngest walked at 10-11 months but only said about 3 words until she was 2. Literally 2. She went from saying only a couple of words very rarely to full on paragraphs. Totally normal development. All kids are different. Is Sierra a swell person? I can't say for sure as I don't know her and I have only vaguely followed her basic storyline, but I would lean toward probably not. However, that doesn't mean there's shit wrong with her kid. I'm just sayin.

Re: Sierra Satterfield
MLU: total number of morphemes divided by total number of utterances
Morphemes: smallest grammatical unit in a language. For example, -ed as in the ending of a word is a morpheme
Utterances: spoken words, statements, or vocal sound
Typical Development for a 2 year old would be an MLU of 3.75-4.5, therefore a typical developing 2 year old should be able to say something like "mommy pushed the stroller"
Again that is for a typically developing child, a child slightly behind is nothing to be concerned about, but if a 2 year old can't string together simple sentences like that it is something to keep an eye on

Haha but you don't have a degree in linguistics? (Did you write that post on E+J? I'm so bad at keeping track of people, esp without dps)Lovehound11 wrote:It's the Special Education teacher in me! I love your explaining in logistics terms!! Haha. I suck at remembering what my degree taught me haha. But when you mention it, I do get it. Haha. I just would have never brought that to the table on my own.

The talk about Zy being almost 2 and not speaking much sparked this in me. Then like a nerd I looked everything up to refresh my memory

Sorry for the OT. No one studies linguistics so it's exciting when you meet people who do
