There is no correlation between the trip vs. Lily's health, YET. Although it's something I wouldn't do, she clearly got the medical okay. If the rest of the family agreed, and I'm assuming they all did, then it was a group decision. David's opinion matters just as much, and I guess he's okay with it also. I just pray that nothing happens, whether it is in Peru or back at home. I think they left today. It's already happening.

First, if it was my child, I wouldn't give two shits what my extended family thought was best. It would not be a group decision. It would be my decision because I'm the mother. If Vanessa is not capable of making these decisions on her own, then she shouldn't have any say over Lily's medical care.

Second, it doesn't matter if there is a correlation yet or not. The fact that it could, and the fact that it did happen, what, a week ago, would be enough for most mothers to cancel the trip. Doctors can get things wrong sometimes, and they can't predict the future. Hell, the doctors told Vanessa to have an abortion because they were SO certain that Lily wouldn't make it. Look what happened.

And be honest, do you think Vanessa has thought this through? Do you think she has a plan in place if something goes wrong? Honestly, I doubt it. Vanessa probably doesn't think she needs a plan because Lily "healed herself".

^^^ This!! So true, a few ppl on here said that Vanessa doesn't really wanna go to Peru, then why the fuck did she go? She could reschedule for a few months or not go at all. NO ONE makes decisions for my daughter other than me and my husband. I dont understand why the whole family has to be involved in every decision she makes regarding her own daughter! Something is off with that, for them to monitor everything she does for Lily and her be ok with it.

If the people around you agree with the doctor, and you want to go, you're going to go. It's NOT what you or I would have done. It's on her either way now.

I doubt it. David isn't allowed to sleep over her family's house, he would have so sleep in a hotel. So he's never gone to Peru and wont until they get married, if they even get married. i dont get it, if V supposedly doesn't wanna go to Peru then why the fuck is she going especially after what happened to Lily? She hasnt even fully recovered

I thought vanessa was leaving to Peru because her grandfather is ill? If that's the main reason, then i understand. I traveled to my country at 32 weeks pregnant because my great grandmother was very old so i had to see her =| the following year i took my 11 month old to meet her... 3 months later she passed away. BUT lily has been sick a lot lately so idk if that was the best idea.

Idk. Where I live if a company needs a sit in for their receptionist they call in a temp agency.

Not saying Vs a receptionist, but her job can't be too demanding if they're already giving her so much vacation time.

Pleeease, I seriously doubt she has a job. I've never heard of a job that you just started give you time off for not one but TWO vactions that equal to 3 weeks. She always shows herself "coming out of work" for like 5 seconds or supposedly working from home. Vanessa cant even spell simple words but shes gonna doing work from home on her laptop....? I dont buy it
