She did a video and had the shoots packed in the case. How the hell can you forget them when she packed them. Shes a right old fruit cake! And Vanessa Photography or video recording of airline personnel, equipment, or procedures is strictly prohibited. And your not Meant to film when taken off. Didn't you watch the Rules on the screen. Poor Lily stuck in that car seat why not let her seat in the seat and near the window. I lost count off how many fields i saw yawn!

I thought the same thing about the car seat, but I think she had to be in it for the plane ride, right? Hopefully (but who knows), Lily got to walk a bit. I don't know how long the flight was. I got claustrophobic just watching that part. So little room and such a long time sitting. I'd need sedation.
There is NO EXCUSE for her to forget her shots idc what anyone thinks. Common sense would tell her if it needs to be kept in the fridge, set an alert on your phone to remind you to pack it. Smfh that what a GOOD MOTHER DOES!!! Thats what i would do if my child needed medication everyday and i was going on a trip.

V is as dumb as they come what a horrible mother and then she acts like its no big deal.

It's one thing to forget to pack socks but it's another to forget your child's medicine that they need daily. I would have so many reminders everywhere to make sure I wouldn't forget that one important thing. Anything else you forget can be replaced easily but I am sure it isn't as easy to replace Lily's medications, it's not like she just forgot aspirin.

You might consider it inexcusable, but it happens to people everyday. She didn't forget it. She remembered it at the last moment. If she stopped recording her mistakes, I guess there would be nothing to talk about. Maybe she should work on becoming more boring? ;)

Most parents think about their children's needs first- themselves second. That's an injection Lily needs every day.
It would be interesting to know if Banessa remembered to pack her own med for her random, every once in a while swelling issues?

That's not why you go to the airport early. Almost all international flight requires 2-3hours check in. Yes, her first flight was domestic but that shouldn't be an excuse.

V, write it down or have a checklist app on your phone!

She's still an asshole for that, it's doesn't matter if she was able to get the shots back. She chooses what WE SEE, she could have left that part out and no one would have known.

I'm not perfect by any means, but if it was my child's medication, that would've been one of the first things I made sure was with me. I can see the other side too, how it's normal to forget things, and I understand, but Vanessa made sure to pack her phone, laptop, chargers, camera, etc. This seems like another scenario where Lily's medical needs came last.

After the whole, "I had to buy another charger in Florida", I was hoping the girl would use some kind of system to make sure she had everything packed and with her.

What I am saying is if she hadn't gotten to the airport early getting the shot might no have been an option. You go to the airport early because you never know what is going to happen

I'm not sure why Lily was sitting in a carseat on the airplane. It doesn't provide any additional degree of protection (carseats are meant to protect a child's neck and a plane may have turbulence from side to side but there is not possibility of it jolting in a forward- or back-ward motion like a car crash would), and Lily is old enough to be able to sit in the regular plane seat with a seatbelt. The carseat also takes up a lot of room and it would be almost impossible for Vanessa to get up out of her seat if she wanted to. I have done a lot of international traveling and have never seen a child on a plane in a carseat. I can understand if it were an infant because they can't sit up in a seat by themselves, but usually smaller children are lap children. Lily even would have been a lap child. There is a special seatbelt extender you can use to buckle in both the parent and the child sitting on their lap. I've also seen airplanes provide cots for children to lay on. I have seen parents bring carseats, but they always gate check them. Hopefully Vanessa will do that on the way back because it seemed so uncomfortable.

I don't think children over age 2 can be a lap child. A lot of times it's more comfortable for the child to be in their car seat and provides a sense of comfort in the sense that it's something familiar. Not only that but it's advised against to gate check a car seat. I've taken care of children as lap children on planes and in car seats. It's so much better and easier IMO to have them in car seats honestly.

My daughter rides in a car seat every time we are on a plane. It is safer for children to be in their car seats on a plane. There's a harness you can get for older children to strap then safely into the plane seat buckle but lily may be too small for it. Also lily is too old to be a lap child.

I was about to say that I have forgotten my insulin before because it was in the fridge (I had the pens just in case) It sucks but I can relate to her forgetting something.

Maybe in your world everyday people almost forget their children's prescriptions when they are about to fly abroad but my world they don't. Vanessa had plenty of time to plan and pack for the trip. But it was more important to her to hang out with Tracy and get her eyebrows done. But see here's the thing. Vanessa and David are behaving like normal young twenty-somethings. MY children were their age once and they forgot things all the time too. They went to the airport without their identification. They forgot to pack socks and toothpaste and underwear. The difference between them and V and D is that they did not have a young vulnerable child utterly dependent on them.

Not sure if anyone else picked up when they were waiting at the 2nd airport. (Around the 10min mark) One minute she's one about sitting there on the phone, working for nearly 2 hours, then moments later it's only 45mins-hour. Her little lies irritate me the most.
