I also saw Britt (BrittandLife) in the comments defending Britney. Someone commented on how Britney isn't struggling because she shops all the time. Brit said no one knows their financial situation. I guess when people waste money on paying for your elective gender determination you kinda have to defend her.

I was actually surprised with how much effort Kilee put into the box based on the two videos she puts out a year... Maybe her dollar section at Target had a better selection than B's this month ?

But that fifty dollar gift card she got her was WAY too much.

And I was pretty disappointed with B's box... She usually does better, not like super glam but for whatever price they set her's are usually really nice or at least match up with what the other person sent. But at least there wasn't a used notebook in there?

I kind of feel bad for Brit cuz people are being really mean about it. She definitely could have put more thought into it but I really think the other girl went overboard (especially if Brit really did go by the budget). However... Britney needs to learn to budget for holidays! It seems like she threw all her money away on junk furniture because she wanted to fill her house, then didn't think about the fact that Christmas was coming and she would be buying for other people besides her kids. IDK this basically confirms to me that she spends frivolously on herself.

I agree with this. I don't think it's fair to beat up Britney over her choice of gifts either. My very first thought, was that Kilee went overboard, and it made Britney feel very uncomfortable. That is the worst--when you're exchanging gifts with a set budget and the other person overshoots. And I can see why Kilee might have done that, because Brit's been through a lot of stress this season. I can't criticize Britney on this. It wasn't really fair for Kilee to go overboard. Yes, B could have been more thoughtful maybe, but she has a lot on her plate. She should budget and buy things throughout the year.

Looks like Kilee has out out like 10 videos since last years vlogmas. So she averages less than a video a month,
It isnt the dollar amount that bothers me, say the box was $25... why was it all dollar spot stuff? Why couldnt she have gotten her a cute picture frame, a christmas decor item etc.... The cups and shopkins were things she also bought for Arias stocking, so no thought there. She just grabbed extras. The $50 gift card isn't included in the actual box swap, that is something that wasn't meant to b shown on camera,it was an actual christmas gift for Ean and Britney and it didnt cost Kilee anything (as per the comments on Kilees video)
Alsol, IF the amount was supposed to be $25 why did she blow so much on the shopkins? That shit is expensive. Kilee got two items and the rest were for her daughter. Britney should have evened it out a bit more.

Kilee, at least in my time subscribed to her, doesn't upload as frequently as Britney, but it looks like she's gotten better this month. And trying to find the nicest way to say this... She doesn't feel as "warm" and welcoming as Britney (used too). I subscribed (and I think a lot of other did too) to Britney when Aria was still a baby after watching one of her Day in the Life videos (way back when she and Ean were at their first apartment) and Brit was always very consistent in the content she put out: Aria's ______ Week of Life (which I miss and wish she did that with Nolan), monthly progress updates for Aria, and just other videos that would come up when mom's would search for something... Like her baby product reviews... Despite being a bit of an airhead B seemed to get how to be successful on YT.

I mean, I like what Kilee has put out but I feel her channel has suffered from all the breaks she's taken whether they're one month or two month. However, I don't think YouTube was her first priority job wise and just a hobby so I don't think she cares that much.

I hope that kind of made sense? It's also luck based when it comes to becoming a family vlogger.

I dont know, i agree with gypsophila this time, i feel bad for Britney, if they agreed on an amount how was she supposed to know Kilee was gonna go overboard, probably one of those pajamas alone equaled the amount of Britneys entire box. Also i feel like most of the box swaps these youtube moms do, include cheap target stuff... always the same coloring books, cups, chapstick, a candle, its very annoying. Once in a while do you actually see a youtube mom that puts a lot of thought into it.

Kilee has said that she doesn't care whether people follow her on youtube. She is a very casual youtuber and isn't in it for money. Furthermore she has a full-time job as a restaurant manager which takes up about 55 hours a week and she wants to spend the remaining time she has with Kadence. She does more with instagram and snapchat.

I don't youtube but I did a gift exchange with a friend. We had a spending limit of $50. I spent somewhere around $60 and got a bunch of stuff but the friend spent well over $100. When we opened the gifts I pretty much felt like crap because she had her box of things and I had this gigantic box full of expensive items. If they did have a spending limit and Kilee went over it without Brit knowing I do also feel bad for Brit. It does sound like she did put some effort into it.

If Britney stuck to the budget then we cannot really blame her. Kilee just went overboard out of the kindness of her heart. I think this video was done to promote kilees channel, maybe. They both live in the US, so I dont see why they would do a box swap for any other reason since they can buy the same items. I agree that a lot of the moms get the same stuff like sanitizer, chapstick, candles, mugs, coffee, and candy. Some people said she could have gotten things from local shops that would be different, but Idk.. I mean I live in a huge city, but I wouldnt drive an hour into downtown or the country for small local items. Im not even sure what local items I would even buy.
If I did a boxswap I would want to do it with Ash from jointhejacksons because I LOVE her style and she dresses Heidi in adorable outfits. Plus, she is in another country, so Id get to try new things.
