Re: The Nive Nulls: Drywall & Jesus - Part 2
Due to their religious beliefs, I highly doubt they have an open marriage. Stranger things have happened, but I don't think its likely that this is part of an arrangement that his wife agreed to. I believe that modern Christian understanding of marriage means monogamy, at least I think that's what most Christian denominations preach.
It was wrong for his partner to release a video, but no one can claim he had a reasonable expectation of privacy considering he was sending super strange masturbation videos to a stranger who reached out to him on the internet, most likely because she/he knew of him from his popular family vlogging channel. He knew it was wrong and he should have known this person was unhinged but he didn't care to think through the consequences.

The Nive Nulls: Drywall & Jesus - Part 2
"If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo."

For myself, if my husband was cheating online only, I'd probably forgive him faster than if he was physically cheating. Sending dick pics or whatever isn't the same as like going behind my back and maybe getting an STD. Idk. I don't think it's smart to just automatically leave your spouse, whom you have three children with, because of cheating. Once you have children, their happiness and well being should come first, and marriage counseling is a smart move. Cheating is not the end of the world, marriage is about more than just love.

I am a writer but I didn't write that, it's a copypasta that's been floating around the internet for years.

Motheringthem, you need to bring it down like 100 notches. Just because you have an opinion doesn't make you right. Sit down.

The pissing contests in these threads have been unreal lately... Back on topic, I don't see why someone can't say that they would leave their partner for something like what Austin did? I would leave my husband for it, and we do have a kid?
Also idk where all of these open relationship/polygamy comments are coming from... Not bashing on the concept but to say that Britt and Austin are in one is reaching. Where is the evidence?

Never said I'm right and never stood up.blackbetty wrote:Motheringthem, you need to bring it down like 100 notches. Just because you have an opinion doesn't make you right. Sit down.
What I had a problem with is when some chick comes in saying that Britt is a ''rude, rotten, self hating person'' for not leaving Austin. The way she would if she were in the situation. That's calling everyone a rude, rotten, self hating person if they don't leave their husbands. You don't come in here guns blazing preaching about you don't need a man and immediately calling people rude, rotten and self hating people for forgiving others. And I'm not the only one who took some offense to that.

I think it's more or less shitting on Britt for not doing it that rubbed people the wrong way. Deal with your relationships in the way you see fit but don't think yours is superior. (I sound like a broken record, lul, sorry)
I think we're also using healthy open relationships and polyamorous as examples relationships with different boundaries, not necessarily that Britt and Austin have one... If that makes sense?
Because Britt really does seem like a strong woman to me so I don't view this as a Sam and Nia scenario where she's obligated to stay with Austin for financial support/raised to be submissive.
I think it's the fact she is a strong woman she went about it the way she did with the counseling and wanting to work through it. I'm sure if Austin didn't show any sign of wanting to change she would have walked out the day she found out.

It's not about saying that you would leave your husband if he cheated, it's about saying that Britt is automatically ''a rude, rotten and self hating person'' for not leaving Austin. It's about calling people rude, rotten and self loathers because they chose not to leave.ghostgrrl wrote:The pissing contests in these threads have been unreal lately... Had she just said ''personally, I would leave my husband'' that would be fine, but when it comes to offending every single women for not leaving her husband calling us rotten and self haters is where the problem started.
Stating your opinion is one thing, insulting people who don't do what you would do, accusing them of being rotten and self haters is something else entirely.

Would it ever occur to you that my statement regarding Britt has nothing to even do with this current situation. You don't even know me I'm a complete stranger to you yet I could know them and these are my personal feelings and opinions towards the adults involved ..leaving the kids out of it . You might want to get my statement correct I said she is rude and rotten - her personality not because she's not leaving him. You added that part in. It's her marriage she can do what she like. I actually read both threads which is why it took me this long to actually leave a comment myself and others are stating their opinions and how they felt so why is mine any different? because I didn't word it correctly?Motheringthem wrote:Never said I'm right and never stood up.blackbetty wrote:Motheringthem, you need to bring it down like 100 notches. That was exactly my point. The shitting on Britt rubbed me the wrong way and I spoke out about it. Perhaps I went a bit far.OhHiImSam wrote:ghostgrrl wrote:The pissing contests in these threads have been unreal lately... Okay, hold on. You said Britt is originally just a rude and rotten person without the not leaving Austin correct?tryburch wrote:Would it ever occur to you that my statement regarding Britt has nothing to even do with this current situation. Okay, I can respect your opinion on the personality, but I don't understand the self hating aspect? You called her self hating because she didn't leave Austin, or at least that's how I perceived your message.
However, maybe we are all getting riled up over a simple misunderstanding.
Re: The Nive Nulls: Drywall & Jesus - Part 2
yes you assumed the self hating was because of Austin but that trait was there long before he arrived. Everyone is chatting what they would stay for and not and I said what I wouldn't stay for and I do enjoy men therefore do not twist my words into a don't need a man statement, I am not even a feminist lol.
