YES. I know exactly who you're talking about. I just don't understand why this is still happening lol. It's a website devoted to YTers. We're all here for one common factor: the YTer at hand. I could care less that you, your mom, your sister, or your kid is pregnant. Again, I'm not Satan. I'm happy you're pregnant, but this is not the place to discuss it.

Just to clarify, if we post mean things and then come here looking for validation, that's against the rules. But if we're polite, don't mention YTMD, and don't talk about it here, it's OK, right? Just making sure _ I_ have it right.
For the most part, I've given up anyway. No matter what you say, if it isn't "You guys are amazeballs! #parentinggoals #relationshipgoals", you get swarmed by minions telling you to " stfu and die"(and that's them being polite!) and then deleted and blocked.

It wasn't targeting anyone in particular. It's about the many pregnancy announcements/due date announcements/personal announcements that arise almost daily. Congrats, this ain't a thread about you.

Someone could always make a "personal discussion" board, or those could go on off topic banter, I guess. I dunno.

Personally I don't mind the announcements but not a fan of when the discussion goes on for a while.

It's fine if it's minor cultural differences people are asking about but in regards to laws and education it's so much easier to just Google it then having twenty people answer twenty different things because laws vary by state.

I'm annoyed that people get so easily annoyed at the littlest things (like getting off topic or a mention of something personal)

We're human, we're having a conversation. This site to me is like gossiping with my girlfriends- sometimes you get off topic- whatever- it's nice having the conversation. Imagine having these rules in real life gossiping/conversations lol.

That said, I'm one of the biggest offenders of many of the pet peeves mentioned in this thread ^ .

So am I, lol. And I don't like annoying people, not because I'm "thirsty" or want everyone to like me, but because I was brought up to be nice. That being said, I guess we just can't please everyone. Although I have tried to do better about things that I know annoy others.
There _is_ a personal topics thread here already, right? Someone was saying we should make one, but I thought I saw one.

My specialty is pretty much going off topic. As long as the thread goes back to whatever it started as, who cares?! Sometimes these people are so boring that we have to talk about gas prices. There are worse things IMO. When I see someone saying "OT but, xyz" and it still has to do with the YT person or whatever I'm pretty much scratching my head. That's not OT!! Informality is my game.
